That's what I was thinking as well. Some people like a busy pattern but I'd do it in a series of solids to show off the angles better..........

love the Japanesque origami-like print on the fabrics -- perfect block design for the prints and the background blue (& also the red) was perfect too. The backing was not done which is the hard part but i just love watching the front part.

Very neat quilt. Color choices really make a difference. I am curious about your rotary cutter. What kind is it?
Lisa its a Martelli Ergonomic Rotary cutter. I have one as my hands have arthritis and it is so wonderful. Cuts eight layers of fabric with ease. Worth the cost!! :)
