Today is World UFO day! Who knew!? Help us celebrate this out-of-this-world holiday with Mason Bates' "Mothership"! This piece was commissioned by Michael Tilson Thomas with the RUclips Symphony and premiered in March 2011 at the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Taken from our Guest Artist Series concert featuring Greg Pattillo earlier this year, the otherworldly sound you'll hear draws inspiration from 21st century dance beats and electronica music.
