had a good friend who took his own life a good few years back, he loved this band and especially this song, this always reminds me of him, but i always remember him smiling and hope he still is xx
As a throwback to the band's heyday at a packed Barrowlands and other venues...that singing of the first verse brings back great memories!. No wonder this is crowned as one of Scotland's best tracks. It's a pure classic!.

For all it's later issues - T was unsurpassed in getting big name headliners for Scotland. I loved it, the mud - the rain, the tramp from parking to camp & time spent with my kid <3
I love the 80s happiest time of my life party party party and brilliant music that has yet to be surpassed such a great time to be young free and single. No x Factor shit just real bands and real musicians brilliant and Deacon Blue are one of the best
this was emotional for me having been a deacon blue fan for most of my life, seen them over 20 times live so to be there for their first ever t in the park was simply magical

I'm 16 and was at Titp with a group of school friends. All 30 people I went with came to see Deacon Blue, and it was absolutely amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat.
OMG.. started looking for my classic LOVED songs and NEVER thought this track could still be popular (albeit in 2013) with mid 20-30yr olds AND THEY ALL KNOW THE WORDS.
