Obviously heard of McFly but after the masked singer, then going down the rabbit hole... such talented bunch. My eyes/ears have been opened

I'm 65, and I love em, got into them when they first formed, the band, as my two sons were fans, and so we had their music on in the car. I grew addicted to their catchy tunes, and harmonies. Great bunch of guys. I'm from Bolton like Danny too!

This was on my birthday last year: I had just turned 16 and was living life, watching Mcfly rock out on The Royal Variety (even better, as Mel C performed later and I love her music too!) Truly the best Royal Variety show EVER! Rock on 🔥 🎸

In a different decade, they would have been legends. In the 2000s, they were lightweight.
It's because they started off as a Pop boyband with guitars like The Beatles and The Hollies but by 2005 or whenever it was they broke through into the mainstream music scene their sound and image seemed dated and unfashionable, however now they sound and look the part and are bringing back the Classic-Rock sounds of The 70's, 80's and 90's.

It's really sad but I think everyone has that one band or artist that is just pure nostalgia from their childhood, who at least in your own head no matter how talented they are will never have better songs than the first ones you heard. With how talented the lads are, sadly that's McFly for me

Just heard about Danny winning masked singer and i have to say i would have struggled to place his voice. Fletcher has a more unique voice imo, Charlie Simpson is 1/1. Danny is an incredible signer but he sounds like a lot of other ppl.

No, depends on the song. Tom and Danny has always shared lead vocals. But even back when they first started, Danny has always been more of the frontman.

Tom was always the principle song writer. He and Danny have always shared lead vocals, with Dougie sometimes the backing vocalist but Tom himself said Danny was their frontman.
