I realize im late to the game. But, what circlip slot did you use?

Thanks for the vid. I also have an XLT and am slowly building it up. When I feel confident with what I’ve invested for off road I’ll start thinking about over landing. X military here with over 5000 miles of off-road throughout the desert. So very interesting to see what this platform can provide

Do you even need UCA’s with the 6112’s? I have seen many threads saying you don’t.

You don't 'need' them just to run the new shocks. Main reason I decided to upgrade was because the 6112s hit the factory control arms at full droop. So I wasn't completely comfortable with keeping the factory arms. If you do mild off-road or mostly just pavement, you'll be fine with the factory UCAs. Aftermarket UCAs also help with alignment and maintaining factory geometry when you lift the front. Hope that helps!

@@TRUTHproJects hmm, now I’m concerned. I’m 90% highway but go off-road for hunting. Nothing too extreme, fire roads and such but sometimes hit some big ruts.

I'd say, it's relatively cheap and easy to do while you're already installing new shocks, so why not upgrade? At least, that's my mentality!

@@TRUTHproJects after tough country what would your next top 2-3 UCA choices be starting lowest to highest cost? Was looking at the SPA’s

    Great watching your build!
Right now I’m choosing my next truck between the F150 Tremor or 4-Door Bronco…pros/cons of each make it a tough decision: Bronco will go anywhere, while F150 may be more comfortable going most, but not all, places the Bronco can go, and I love the F150, and thinking with a GoFast pop up camper top tent it would be amazing!
So, have you found yourself limited by the size of the F150? Just wondering.

Not terribly limited. The biggest limit is the turning radius. I've got plenty of pin stripes to show off lol

Sharp Colour best truck to build for real life world travels. I designed a rack for the back of my 2012 F150, had it built of aluminum, reinforced. Secured to the box rails, and the 4 lower tie down points. Have fun go Offroad

That color looks like leadfoot gray. How do you like it? I'm considering this color for my 2021 F-150 XLT 302A Supercab that I'll be ordering soon. I love the way leadfoot looks, but some owners say it shows scratches very easily and that would drive me insane because I'm way too obsessive about my paint. That said, I'll be wrapping the front end in PPF anyway, but there's still the rest of the truck to worry about. I'm just curious what actual owners think of the color and finish, overall.
Also, I have owned a Tacoma and I hated it...worst driving vehicle I've ever owned. That's why I'm getting a full size F-150 this time.

I love the color. That being said, any dark color shows scratches easily. If you don't plan on going on small winding trails, then I wouldn't worry too much. Hope that helps!

Lead foot gray is lighter this looks more like abyss gray since it has a darker/blueish look to it, I can be wrong tho they look very similar

Good content. I have the exact same truck in black and am looking to do some overlanding with the same criteria as you so i will be following along. Keep it up.
