These dudes are in their late 50s and early 60s and still feeaking rule. Clearly music has kept them young. Nuno is one of the dudes who made me start playing 28 years ago.
I don't understand how they got this reputation. I saw them at least 50 times in the 90s. I went to every record store appearance, every CD signing, and never once did Nuno so much as look us in the eye while he was signing. It was all a chore to him. Sometimes Gary was cool, and Paul, Pat, or Mike would be nice if they showed up. But meeting Nuno all those times always felt like he was patronizing us.
It's good that the band have passion like this - even if it's a skit - I mean, no one give a flying f##k in the internet age about singles or videos, so fair play to them for even having a modicum of energy to discuss this! Songs sound fantastic 😍🎉
Both of those songs are awesome. They each have a different vibe. I gotta go with Rebel, if I have to pick a fave because Gary hits them high notes with Nuno's guitar. I'm glad they released them both. Now, gimme that album!
