In basicaly every racing game, I drive to maximize speed on corner exit, at the cost of entry speed, or taking a worse line in corner entry so I have the best exit possible. I tend to prioritize acceleration and braking as much as possible over top speed. Top speed is useless if you cant reach it. I dont think my style is super useable in real life as its very hard on tires but it works well for me in games. Im excited to see how my style will evolve when I get a wheel and stop using a controller.
