One thing that really shows here is that Richard is a very good driver. He plays up the accident prone bit, but you can clearly see the 30+ years of experience as he drives

I think she and Richard are a fantastic duo, and you can see the pride in Richard's eyes as he watches her rallying like a champ. Can't get enough of them together!!
This is so heartwarming. Izzy's confidence grew throughout the day and you can just tell how much Richard is having fun riding along with her. The cut of her saying she could do this all day to Richard having said it earlier must have been such a proud Dad moment.
Fathers absolutely love ❤️ it when their daughters take after them. Much more so than with sons cos with sons it’s expected. With daughters it shows far greater maturity & bonding & means that daughters are far more likely to come under your wing & therefore be a lot more mature & successful in life, including the very real & important matter of relationships. The absolute last thing a father wants is for his daughter to marry a Wally. Believe me, I’m of that exact mindset.
Richard, you’re exactly right. My father took me out in the ice and snow and taught me all about sliding and counter stearing. It’s saved my life many times.

"You're not teaching me anything, daddy, you're just having fun" Yes, yes he is. Just look at that massive grin!
Just found this and…What could I possibly say except, brilliant!
Seeing anyone learning a new set of driving skills and clicking with it, getting a really genuine buzz out of it, with their dad knowing exactly what they’re achieving and simply loving it, wanting to pass on and share the fun that he gets from doing it…is absolutely priceless.
Thanks to both Izzy and Richard, for sharing the joy of the day around.
Great job Izzy, now hold him to that “get a little car together” promise!
Cheers, R. 😎👍🍻
Great to see Richard passing the torch with passion for cars!
These two together is just magic, and her laugh just makes you smile.
These father daughter moments are amazing. Keep posting plenty more of these please :)
This made me smile. So fulfilling to see Richard pass his passion onward.
IM CRYING AT THE END. i have a father but we never do things together anymore.. love this father daughter segments
Richard is a great dad for sure, you can really tell he was so impress with his daughter driving. Is it me or can everyone see that she defiantly takes after her dad, they both have the same get up & go personality carefree fun attitude, the little giggles & screams was so cute. Well done indeed what a blast of a day for both of you, PS Matt Edwards wasn't to bad either 😁but seriously he's a awesome instructor you can't ask anyone better.👍
Great story, superb production- hope you plan to continue this story / how she and her dad progress - well done all. The nation needs more of these wholesome , fun life stories …‘I could do this all day’ -love it ❤
So much fun to watch...I really love to see Izzy stepping into Richards footsteps!
What a great video, had tears of joy for the pair of you, great job Izzy and Richard!!!
So wholesome to watch him share his passion with her. And to see how genuinely proud he is as she not only understands it but then also loves it.
can’t explain how big of a smile i had watching them both giggling mid drift. fantastic video with two amazing people. thank you for giving us all a massive chuckle!!
Can’t help but smile watching this, the sheer joy on both their faces but more so Hammond, you can genuinely see how much it means to him
Love the interaction between Izzy and her dad. The dynamic between them in things like this is beautiful. Well done, Izzy.
I have loved watching Richard Hammond from his days on Top Gear. This is the first video I have watched on his channel and it was absolutely amazing. His daughter is adorable and his interaction with her is priceless. He is a lucky man.
14:54 Like father, like daughter. I’ve grown up watching Top Gear then transitioned to the Grand Tour to continue watching televisions best trio. It’s sad to see GT come to an end and the trio slipping apart on screen but seeing moments like this make me truly happy for I know their legacies will live on in so many ways. Thanks for the grey watch DT, have a wonderful day!
Izzy and Richard need an entire Netflix/RUclips series where Richard teaches Izzy everything he knows about driving and working on vehicles. A passing of the torch. Love videos of them together.
A very heartfelt thank you from this former Rally/Hillclimb driver. You both captured the joy of expanding your limits and sent me straight back to my own first time at a rally school (Team Oneil in the US many years ago). A girl could truly 'do this all day' and it's time to pick it up again. ❤ (Her laughter, absolutely infectious.) Thank you for the smiles.
@wrxgrl -- Yes Christy, you do need to "pick it up again."
Absolutely love these videos. I hope both Richard and Izzy keep making them.
This video fills me with happiness for some reason. Great video! The daughter showing interest in what the father does. Every guys dream ❤
Iźzy is just brilliant, the whole Father dynamics and joy of teaching/ pride in his daughter progress is perfect.
Really enjoying the addition of Izzy to the DT family. She's got her dad's ability to be natural on camera (and voice over), she has skills and a really good attitude to it all. Almost 'So what if I'm a girl, Imma do it anyway!' ... and she's easy on the eyes too
steady on mat
Perfect timing, looking forwards to this guys!
More videos with Izzy please! She's so funny when she's scared, and even funnier when she's enjoying herself.
absolutely loving the videos with Izzy. seeing Richard have so much fun with his kid is awesome to watch.
I watched you over the years on your show and you seem to be having the time of your life with Izzy. Thank you for sharing.
