Richard Hammond has decided to take up golf, and predictably, he's immediately gotten competitive. His daughter Izzy has challenged him to a game, and Richard isn't one to shy away. Let this family battle commence!

@@robbeaman3542 That's a running joke they use. It was referenced by one of them in the videos where Izzy drives a few different Rally Cars, & in the video where Izzy drives a Subaru touring rally car, with Richard being the passenger in all. Vids are on DriveTribe & more DriveTribe channels.

This is probably the best father & daughter golf video I've ever watched..👍🤣! Izzy started off trying her best to be helpful & supportive, and Richard very quickly turned her enthusiasm into pure frustration and hating the game..🤣🤣🤣

As father to a 20-something daughter, I very much recognise this. I'm not ashamed to say that I was just as annoying as Hammond by taking it just as seriously as he did.
I could watch these two all day, even just doing the most mundane of activities. Richard and Izzy do the washing up, Richard and Izzy mow the lawn, I'd probably watch it all. Wonderful dynamic.

I believe Izzy had already been playing with her boyfriend for quite some time. That's who got Hammond started on golf. During the pandemic, when boyfriend was quarantined with the family during the pandemic, he started teaching Hammond some golf.

This is the third video I've watched with you and Izzy. They are every bit as interesting and entertaining as Top Gear was.
As much as it is entertaining to see, and as much as Richard had many awesome moments in his life (including Top Gear and Grand Tour) which were shared with the world, I suspect it’s these moments with his daughter where he will cherish the most when he look back at his career one of the best entertainer on TV and now online.

This is exactly what Dads are supposed to be with their daughters. Highly annoying. I've been perfecting it for years with my own daughter, she would probably argue that I have perfected the art. Anyway, great stuff! More of this would be greatly appreciated!

I so badly pray & hope with all the energy of the universe that Izzy keeps interest in the game. And I also pray & hope Richard works on practice and that Izzy works on practice and we can all meet again every month for a Father/Daughter match.
I took one look at what they were going to do and thought "Richard this will go as well as teaching your daughter to drive". There is no way this can not end in humiliation for you.
