Ii used t get really frustrated overthinking especially after making a car setup , and then constantly thinking about how it relates to my inputs and car control while im mid stage. Now I start stages woth default setups and drive them without overdoing anything. Its much more enjoyable to just finish a stage with no major dings, or missed shifts, or over doing the scandi flick inputs just do get minor time improvements. Also, what helped me to really focus on the stage and the loop of listening , looking and driving was to turn off the codriver calls display. I only use audio. This also helps you avoid mimmicing the inputs the game suggests, and forces you to learn what that codriver call means on that particular stage. You will drive much more naturally and without anxiety when u get a hang of it 👍

We Drive Fast … All Times together in a realistic way. But often there is one or two Players besting us all with 30 sec or more. After the First km they have often already 6-10 sec. And I‘m for sure Not going like a snake. It‘s No Fun - except you don‘t calculate with their times and concentrate on the other „regular“ times and the other real gamers

Completely agree, very good game for a early access!! Drifting wise , you can choose different tires and maybe mess around with tire pressure. After the last update i feel the FFB has changed , but i had to upgrade my wheel as well so who knows XD. Need to fiddle a bit with the FFB. Performance wise, it's a new engine and does not really matter how you setup your graphics. I run a 4080 with 'only' 70 - 80 fps at the moment.

I really hope they come out with a successor to content manager. That's really the one thing that brings me back to AC time and time again. I feel like ACC really suffered from the lack of mods, and it's good to see they've change the game engine. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this game.

This game is pure garbage. Fwd in this game is completly wrong. The car is stick to the ground,no oversteer only understeer,no weight transfer,nothing. Only go stright,left and right. On tarmac is just fantasy😂😂😂

have struggled with seeing the road during those elevation changes. was wondering if there were some keyboard mappings that can be set to adjust seat position, but couldn't find any. drive using a wheel anyways, but guess will need to change the camera view since this lame game doesn't provide any seat position adjustments.

My advice. Dont buy a game on release (except early access) wait till its on discount, and patched, and ready, then buy it.

Took your advice and it helped a lot. I took off aBS, off throttle braking, throttle limiter and reduced TC and Stability control and changed my POV to over the hood. HUGE difference. I got cocky and upped the AI from 25 to 100 and got crushed but I didn’t wipe out and raced my best yet.

There used to be a wall on the opposite end also, but was removed in the past couple of years. I think the tragedy highlighted the major design flaw, but before it happened, no one could've expected it.

It seems to me that this is a case of dual bird strike with the second engine partially working. The area the airport is built on is filled with bird migrating, with warnings being 5 times the usual amount, and the person who filmed from under it did so after hearing a strange noise and then we saw the supposedly second strike, which would make sense. Still have doubts on the landing gear not being deployed, got to say that from the moment they were hit to touching land only 3-5 minutes passed. Many articles say that locals saw gear being deployed during the first failed attempt, not in the second. I don't know, It's still kind of early to conclude my ipopthesis.

This accident has alarmed me, not by the horrific and explosive nature of it, but because of the multitude of ignorant comments across the internet. Comments made by people who are unaware that airports have end of runway barriers designed to halt careening aircraft and stop them from causing much more damage and death outside the airport perimeter.

Note, the opening scene of the crash was slightly insensitive.

There shouldn't only be no obstacles but aircraft arresting systems should be mandatory. The tech to safely stop a runway excursion is out there

It seems clear that a whole lot went wrong. That concrete wall for the localizer antenna seems like a bad idea. I don't think that was thought through. We need to know why engine #1 seemed to be off during the landing. If we know that engine #2 was damaged in a bird strike, they would have needed engine #1 to stay aloft and go through checklists to get the plane ready for a safe landing. It seems reasonable that if they are going stay up for a bit while they run through checklists, they may raise the gear and flaps. If they then end up running on one damaged engine while still flying low, then it would make sense that they would scramble back to the airport to make a hasty landing as they were already low when engine #2 got damaged. The question is did engine #1 also get broken or did they shut off the wrong engine? Something else to point out is in the Gimli Glider incident with a Boeing 767, the pilots cross controlled the plane to slow it down so they could touch down at the beginning of the drag strip and in the mid-Atlantic fuel leak landing, the pilots managed to do S maneuvers to lower the plane while gliding after fuel exhaustion and land on the runway instead of overshooting, granted in that case they still came in fast and blew some tires under heavy breaking. But in general in this case, there is the question of did the pilots come in hot when they could have slowed the plane down more and touch down earlier?

I saw a similar landing about 3 years ago, and I saw a pilot land a Boeing 767 , no landing gear, done to perfection. Passengers said, it was so smooth, it felt like a normal landing, and from what I saw, it looked like one as well. Right engine caught fire on landing, but put out right away. Nobody hurt. These guys panicked and entered the runway to deep, and too fast. The re - enforced concrete burm at runway end, being the final killer. If it was a mud field at the end, all would have lived. The people that designed that airfield should be responsible for this tragedy, although I'm sure they thought it was far enough back to be safe. I also believe the Pilots did panic in this case, so we'll await investigation.

The compression stall could have been recorded by an iPhone that has a reverse-image. So that could be showing us a compressor stall on Engine 1

looks like it just disintegrated when it hit the ILS antenna. What were those antenna's made from, C4 ?

A 53-year old male flight attendant had broken shoulders and was able to wake up in the hospital while the 25-year old female flight attendant received lacerations to her head and her ankles. They may be injured in more areas but I don't know about them yet. Rest in peace.

I Like the thought process behind your thinking. And good spot with engine 2 being the one that had the bird strike but engine 1 seemed to be power down on landing. Truly devastating incident that has taken place. Thought are with the families

I am getting there! Just very Slowly

The more grip the surface has, the worse I am at driving it. Gravel, snow and dirt feel easy to drive, but I’m honestly hopeless on tarmac and I can’t really figure out why. It feels like the car is possessed and always wants to spin when I do anything. Maybe I need to bring my torque bias closer to 50-50. I’ve avoided doing that because I know it’s a bit faster to have it biased toward the rear, but that doesn’t really matter if I keep crashing all the time from uncontrollable oversteer. This is especially true in group b cars, I can’t drive them on tarmac to save my life.

Getting rid of ABS is fine for me on dirt, gravel and snow, but when it comes to tarmac, I crash so much without ABS
