I have read many books, I listened to many RUclips videos by many of the world's leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to “the hidden herbs” by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.
I don't have knee issues, but I've been doing this exact same thing on my bed for a long time, i guess i would call it bed "yoga" lol. I find the more comfortable you are, the longer you will do the exercise and there's no benefit to hurting yourself on a hard floor and making you suffer for no reason or benefit. So, yea, if you have a good soft bed, i would do this on there if you can manage. If not, sit on the side of your bed, lift both legs together and lean back a little and hold for 5 second (basically sit up planking) and then sit back up and lower legs. Rinse and repeat until you feel the burn or the second you feel any back pain. If you can bend your knee's ok, add in some knee tucks in the same position, or you can lay flat on your bed and achieve the same result just doing the leg lifts and holds, you can also turn on your side and do the same thing. The key is being as comfortable as possible so you can push on longer, maybe throw on a movie or binge a couple episodes of something and just keep active for 1 to 2 hours, nothing crazy, just slow leg lifts and putting yourself into positions that would otherwise be too hard on a hard surface (be creative) then in a week or two you will go to get up and notice how your core has you springing up with ease, and your knee's will thank you as well. Good luck 😁

What can you do if you can't go on your knees?
