If the leafs can get their more physical guys under control and limit the bruins pp time i think they have this series. Ive also been saying the same thing about Marner for years now... Hes a liability most of the time and turns into a ghost. They should have moved him this past year when loading up for the playoffs instead of keeping the core 4 intact, once again.

It's almost like marner needs a 10+ million dollar center to be effective. Remember Bozak? Pepperidge farm remembers. He was a 65 point player before tavares showed up. Anybody who thinks marner made Tavares better should probably look up Matt Moulson. It was clearly the other way around.

Did anybody see Marchand take the BIGGEST soccer style flop dive, as if he got shot in the back of the calf, after the LIGHTEST tap from a leafs player.
Absolutely no embellishment penalty, and the Bruins walked away from the scrum with a PP... If I was a leafs fan I'd be furious... If I was the league I'd be pretty upset he made our officials look god awful, and the fact he's making this look like soccer in one of the most hyped, watched 1st round matchups... Definitely deserves the max fine, even if fine amounts are a total joke. It should be a max percentage of your AAV, NOT a flat rate. This punishes rookies/league min/two way players WAY more then the stars, when it should be the exact opposite...

Game 5 against Florida last year: Jakub Lauko is crosschecked in the back by Matthew Tkachuk, is sent to the box for hooking.
Game 2 against Toronto: Charlie Coyle is punched in the face by Ilya Lyubushkin, is sent to the box for roughing. Not to mention all the times Lauko was held for what felt like minutes. Reffing was *rough* in this game for boston. Doesn't excuse the loss, but damn was it annoying to watch.
