A side by side comparison would be great. I've tried a few different paints and am still looking one that suits my skill level and it's ease of use.

Greetings from Russia! Congratulations on your great shopping! Successful model builds! I also use a stand for a can of glue printed on a 3D printer - it's convenient.

The Sol /Set holder is a great idea.
After knocking a bottle of Sol over a few years back i fashioned a holder ‘Blue Peter’ style out of some foam packing material.
A shoot out between MRP and SMS would be helpful.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻😎

I always thought holders for Tamiya extra thin bottles were a waste of time and thought who would ever knock one of those over? Until I did! So last Telford I bought triple hold from Premium Hobbies along with the Set and Sol holders.

MRP vs SMS vs Outlaw please. I have the Set/Sol holder and it's great to be able to grab one 'thing' and have everything to hand for decals.

I've been using SMS paints for a bit more than a year and I absolutely love it. I now only use Tamiya paints for a few colours that I need to brush, mainly metallics for car engines, but a few others as well. I find the Tamiya acrylics don't cover very well compared to the SMS, but the Tamiya lacquers are quite good. The only problem with SMS is that it is difficult to brush as they are airbush ready. I can get away wth small touch-ups, and I sometimes use a bit of Tamiya paint retarder in it if I have several bits to fix. For a tiny touch-up, say on a part that had to be glued on after painting, I can get away with using the SMS straight from the bottle, but it is quite hot paint so has a tendency to melt any other paint it touches.

A competition would be more interesting but also more difficult...
    So let us be surprised.

I would like to see MRP and SMS paints compared with each other in the same video. I do like MRP but have not used SMS yet.
Saying that I still go back to Tamiya acrylic paint all the time.

I have that 3 section premium hobbies one. Have all 3 tamiya glues but one bottle of extra thin is just a tad too big and does not fit the cutout. Checked with a new unopened bottle of extra thin and it fits fine. Seems the tamiya bottles are not consistent.

I have unfortunately knocked over a Tamiya extra thin and the outcome is so bad that it's worth the added precaution

I love both MRP and SMS, but my preference for ease of use is MRP. Value wise I'd have to go with SMS, as it's slightly less expensive. SMS is also easier for me to buy here in the states. I only know of 1 US trader for MRP, and he has a hard time keeping it in stock. I'd love to see you do a MRP vs. SMS side-by-side comparison test. Thanks for the video!

I like the Set/Sol holder. Wonder if it’s available in the States? Haven’t tried MRP. I’ve already got too many Tamiya, Mr. Color, and Mission Models Paints. And just a few MCW paints. Informative video. Peace and love.

I would love to see the side by side comparison. Since they are realistically the top 2 mentioned by content creators, it would be nice to see how they compare instead of having to watch multiple videos. Maybe pair the gloss, semi, matte, and semi matte up against each other and how much you thin vs flow etc.

I've never had to thin my SMS Premium paints, but the Advance range are designed to be thinned. Rumour has it that SMS are discontinuing the Advance range. I have used a few and they are very nice, but brushing them is difficult as they melt any other paint they contact. The SMS high gloss clear is superb. For some reason they don't make a semi-gloss clear. You just have to mix up some matt and gloss. I have had a few problems with the matt and my semi-gloss mix getting white spots when the weather is cold or too humid. They work fine on small parts but spraying large areas causes a few problems. When the weather is right they work well. I've never had issues in any weather with the primers or colours.

If you can get hold of them you could try Outlaw Paints (the other Aussie brand) as well - they are available from Mos6510 and there is a range of military colours as well as solid colours, metallics, pearls, rail, etc.
