In addition he also makes artistic sling shots and showcases them here on RUclips on The Slingshot Channel.

5:20 Yeah, the riot shotgun is not based on the benelli M4. If you examine it closer, you'll notice that the foregrip is a slide Action like a traditional pump shotgun, but also has a charging handle and bolt/slide release button that's customary for a self loading shotgun. Which mean this gun is actually based on the Benelli M3 shotgun, which much like the Franchi SPAS-12, is capable of both semi-automatic and pump Action fire modes and can be used accordingly, depending on your brass loads. Always wanted one.

    • @katcvwatson3202

I am one who owns a Benelli M3 & the way that the gun is configured in game is, In pump mode but is operating in semi auto. As well as the telescoping stock is traditionally for the Benelli M4, where as the stock on the M3 can be like on the Benelli M2 of just a straight stock with sling swivels or more of a rounded stock that does collapse & shares the same telescoping stock with the Benelli SuperNova.

It's a cross between an Steambow AR-6 Stinger 2 with a standard pistol crossbow cocking lever rather than a cocking stock, very similar if you omit the stock.
Draw weight of those is 55lbs, though they (pistol repeating crossbows) can go up to 70 I believe, not super powerful, but that would still put a sizeable hole in a zombie, more than shown ingame. 55lbs is enough to take down a wild hog and that's been done with a repeating pistol crossbow.

A detail Jonathan missed in the sawn off 1887 shotgun is the lack of a trigger guard. Which is to detail that reference to one 1887 used in Terminator 2 Judgment Day. Known as the Rose Box 1887, which had the trigger guard cut out, as was concealed in a box with rose flowers when he found John Connor in time to protect him from the T-1000. Which before being concealed in the rose box, it was the shotgun the bar owner fired a warning shot to T-800.

Interesting that Jonathon chose a thumbnail of a Thompson 1921 despite it not being available in the game( although mods will change that reskinning the Chicago from the M1/M1A1 that can somehow still hold a drum). Even more interesting that Jonathon held up a Thompson WITHOUT a Cutts compensator! I was under the impression that those early compensator-less models were exceedingly rare nowadays! Even most film/tv set in 1921-26 rarely gets that detail correct, opting for the more common post- '26 tommy guns with compensators.
