I thought you were off to a strong start with a cut monster's artwork and backstory, but then you blew my hat off when told me one game was supposed to have an extra key!
So, I found a cut area in Resident Evil 7. Well, “Area” is a bit of a stretch, but it’s a room in the game files that is completely unused. It seems to have been a hallway connecting the Old House and the Greenhouse, even though the walls have no indication that they would’ve had openings at some point. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t look like any other area in the game, especially not in the baker residence. Pictures will be provided on request! And yes, this is real. I found this because I made a script to extract stuff from RE7, which I don’t think anybody else has done, so that’s why this is a new discovery.
I was a huge fan of the original Resident Evil 3. I played through it a lot to make all the different choices, get the different endings, unlock all the costumes, get all the files and listen to all the unique dialogues. I was really disappointed with how much they cut out in the remake. You could tell it was a lazy cash grab and not at all for the fans compared to the Resident Evil 2 remake. Great video by the way man.
I never really liked 3 that much but I always thought the live selection was really cool. And Mercenaries the best part of the game. Well what do you know, the remake didn't bother to include them. Not even just 1. What a waste, since the gameplay is super fun. But they just couldn't be bothered to put in the effort content wise
The reason why they cut a lot of the content may have been because village was being made at the same time 3 remake was being made and they may have had a deadline or budget cuts but I understand your criticism
I wasn’t born for it but Resident Evil 0 has a lot of nostalgia for me. Being in the train was so scary to me because I didn’t know what the game was about and being in the train freaked me out with how trapped and confined you are. So you think Claire's hair changing is important, but not her whole ethnicity changing. Or even more important things like them getting the side Birkin was shot in wrong and so breaking the in game demonstration of how the G-virus works? Or that they made the super tyrant take 2 rockets to kill, completely defeating the purpose the rocket launcher had in the original (if you don't know, the rocket has 2 shots but is scripted to auto kill the tyrant when you fire at him, meaning you're going to have 1 missile left. You're supposed to then take that missile on to the train and use it against Birkin's final form. Birkin survives being shot by it and is at that point the only enemy in the game that has survived a rocket launcher shot. debatable. 5 seems to have a way more fleshed out story, and sheva as a protagonist was a good decision.
@@tgabz I fucking love 5 because it's awesome, but seeing the beta that coulda had Barry and Rebecca sounds awesome.
I thought you were off to a strong start with a cut monster's artwork and backstory, but then you blew my hat off when told me one game was supposed to have an extra key!
Literally great video, thanks for all your hard work, I will definitely be keeping up with this channel!
Another outstanding video thanks Biitz!!! Really appreciate all these video's dude!!!😎👍👍
Damn tbh that spider monster from RE0 would probably be one of the creepiest and scariest enemies I’ve ever seen in any game
Yeah looks cool too
That artwork of wesker standing in front of the fire is badass. Him and Sephiroth have to be the coolest villains of all time
Re is my favourite franchise! Thankyou for this video! Subbed! 😄
I love re4 alot and I think from the art I seen that they showed would've been good too if they had those characters in the game
The way, bro says secretion is outrageous
Makes an hour long RE dedicated video, then proceeds to play a Silent Hill song as background. Power move right there.
The original resident evil 4 game was an entirely different game from what it was. You had an entire Ashley section you can play
After hearing the cut content of re4, sounds a lot like they used all of that for re village. They nailed it!

I was so hyped for the police vs zombies cutscene to be remade...
For real. I enjoyed what it did right (i.e. Carlos) but I’d pay hard money for a Director’s Cut with all the content they removed.
@@olucaspc Damn, why'd you remind me :/
The reason why they cut a lot of the content may have been because village was being made at the same time 3 remake was being made and they may have had a deadline or budget cuts but I understand your criticism
The fog RE4 seems like it became RE5 in many ways. The fog to uroboros. Spencer.
I just remember the hype I had for RE4. And the many versions before it did finally release
I'm new in the channel, but I love Resident Evil! Great job guy!
Many things are cancelled because of console limitation at the time. Black fog can be hard to be remembered
your gonna make it big man nothing but good vibes homie😀
I wasn’t born for it but Resident Evil 0 has a lot of nostalgia for me. Being in the train was so scary to me because I didn’t know what the game was about and being in the train freaked me out with how trapped and confined you are. It’s scary asf but nothing will beat the introduction of the flood in Halo the build up is still amazing to this day and the enemies truly made me so scared it took me a few times to get the courage to even play .
So nobody's gonna talk about how the thing in the left side of thumbnail looks awfully similar to The Russian Sleep Experiment
Those redesigns of Nemesis actually look kinda Sick...
Excellent video! RE2 original and RE4 are my absolute favorites. I also love code Veronica. ❤🤝
Same
21:08 Resident Evil Outbreak Featuring Victrebell from the Pokemon series.
😂😂🤣
I feel like all of the original resident evil games deserve a remastered yes that also goes for resident evil 1 which deserves a re-remaster
I think you mean a remake...it's simply not possible to upgrade the original games graphics completely without one and they could frankly do alot better nowadays
They already had, remasters first and now re2 and 3 had their remakes. There's still more games to do but it's in progress I guess
@@MrSasukeSusanoo yeah true, but I just really want to see the original resident evil with modern Day graphics because didn't get it to remastered back in like 2005? Correction did my research came out in 2008 and that was only for the Wii and then a new version of it came out in 2015 that was for Xbox 360 Xbox One PC and Playstation 3 and 4 and again the Wii
3:00 I love the safe room music from RE0 so much...
Fantastic quality of your video, appreciate the effort.
Now I wish we got plague doctor Ada in Village. That would’ve been cool.
Man, I REALLY hope they bring some of the cut ideas back for the Resident Evil 4 remake!
The more I see of Resident Evil 3's cut content, the more I'm convinced it was rushed and half-baked. It needed another six months, minimum.
I really hope the cut content creatures of the original RE4 makes it to RE4 Remake
I *need* to see Dynamite Man make his debut.
I still don't get why they'd even make a RE4 remake, if any main game needs a remake it's Code Veronica. Or 6
@@Walamonga1313 IMO because its one of the best if not, the best Resident evil game there ever was that wasn’t remade, so I don’t see why they shouldn’t remake it first, Code Veronica can come after that since that game also deserves a remake, and RE6 was subpar at best IMO it started becoming more and more action packed after RE5 which is really a turn off
If you look at Leon and how he's holding the pistol and flashlight at 39:29, it's how he'll be holding both in the remake.
Hey evil blitz the slayer here just to tell you i love your videos and contents keep ont the good work your research amaze me 🤘
it get‘s real tiring REAL quick when you repeat the same lines for every weapon
The biggest mistake by far in the Resident Evil 2 remake was the loss of Claire's red hair.
It is in game narrative to show that the G virus is much more powerful than the T-virus).
@@jimmydesouza4375 You must be fun at parties.
@@LAZERAK47V2 Games that I like don't tend to get destroyed via "remakes" when I go to parties. Maybe that's just me though.
@@jimmydesouza4375 There is no need to go through it that much. They made choices, some good and some bad but in no universe is the remake bad
@@scarletspyder1165 "There is no need to go through it that much."
That's exactly why it is bad though. It's designed for mindless spawn like yourself that just consume and forget, consume and forget over and over and over. Never put any thought into what you are doing and seeing, you just consume because you're told to consume.
The original RE 2 you CAN go through it in that much detail. The fact you can't or shouldn't in the RE2R is (one of the many reasons) why it is bad. And it is bad. Unfortunately the mindless consumers like yourself just says something is good if influencer says it is good, like that energy drink craze that is currently happening.
New viewer here. Love your videos. I've learned a lot about the series even though i thought i knew everything 😅😂
Very well done video with unspoken great efforts put into it. Well done! 💎
The cutt content, enemy wise, for RE4, somehow seems to connect to what we might see from the rumors already spreading for RE9, cult like / mythological creatures.
Great detailed video. However, I'm still not over Resident Evil 3 cut content.
Idk how Capcom doesn't realize the sex appeal in RE series is a a big reason we love these games
Capcom is like
"wow this makes sense, fits the RE universe and seems pretty cool. Let's do the exact opposite"
Amazing work dude. Very fun watch.
The amount of mispronounciations hurt my soul. No one has ever said "Matilda" when reading Militia.
Nobody:
This guy: "The X was a X intended to appear in the game"
Barry should appear on every single RE game. He's the best character hands down.
What's even more tragic and enraging is that he shot reappeared in Revelations 1 instead of Parker and in RE 5!
@@PedroLucas-mg5je 😔 damn it
No he isn't.
I’m learning so much from you my friend!! Again bravo !!!
I hope that Capcom make the director's cut version of any modern RE games so that any of these cut contents can fit in the game
yo this concept art is fire
anyone else miss pre-rendered backgrounds ? for horror games , pre rendered bg’s are perfect imo. i get why they’re not used anymore but still. if you wanna see how a modern game used pre-rendered backgrounds look up Disco Elysium , it’s a beautiful game.
Talk about cut content, RE3 Remake took the crown there when it comes to cut content! So much wasted potential.
Oh yeahhh I wish. Did take their time like re4
Great video man
Dude I agree, it's so dumb
We're living in an era when people who even didn't playing game are involved in changing our beloved games, which is sucks.
Ehhhh the breast comment and the upskirt scene are not missed by me. What Luis says to Ashley IS pervy and awful, no bones about it. I disagree that she succeeds in putting him in his place over it either. Her reaction was borderline polite and toothless, didn't really have an effect, and to make it worse - Leon doesn't even say a word in her defense! I didn't like that at all and found it truly strange and out of character for him. The upskirting was much worse because now as the player you're given the chance to BE a pervert. It's literally just Japanese upskirting depravity in the game. It's fully understandable why that was taken out.
I don't think it's fair or intellectually honest to label changes like these as censorship. Who exactly are they censoring? It's within their rights to remove or add whatever content they want from their games. Now, if only they wouldn't have had Jill in re3 remake get deepthroated by the bug monsters... *shudder*
@@pumpkins0 I agree, why would there even be a option to look up a female characters skirt? I don’t mind women in video games wearing dresses/skirts but if the main reason for it is to fit the male’s gaze rather than it being part of the character, then I would rather it being taken out all together.
@@ningmushii Then Ashley should be taken out of the game completely, she contributes nothing but an annoying loud mouth liability. Leave her in cutscenes so we never have to interact with her outside watching those.
Re8: definitely felt like it had some stuff missing, I wish they would’ve kept some of that in the game.
Thank goodness for the playback speed feature. You talk a little bit too fast😭😭 (English is not my first language)
Great video btw! I have read most of these but it's nice that there are still many content creator that are dedicated like you and RoE. Looking forward for more RE content!
The Tarantula Man was going to be awesome. In the same game you would've also fought a zombie gorilla
re4 to me is the best, total horror ambiance, a great story and fucking scary enemies that have actual backgrounds
This video was awesome Ty for your time into making this
You can't call it "inconsequential" when a third party cuts content from the original RE4, while marketing it as a "faithful" remake in VR. Whether you agree with the original or not, that's a shitty thing to do
That spider humanoid thing in the thumbnail will haunt me forever in my dreams 😱😱😱
I didn't realize it till now, but Shiva's business suit looks very similar to Hunnigan's outfit in RE4.
You know what you're right 😂my gawd my whole life is a lie
You barely noticed?
Great work as usual 😎
Yo, Good job. I just wanted to say that the letter A/B/Y/O in the name of the enemies is actually Greek. For future reference, Its Alpha/Beta/Gamma/Omega.
God I love this series so much I haven’t played a RE title that I haven’t enjoyed in some way.
A other good vidoe dude keep it up you rock
