    Dear sister instead of adding semolina can i add cassava dough i think that is better what id semolina made of my dear sister i love your cooking paaaaa in a neat environment thanks for sharing I never buy Kenkey from outside i cook it my self ❤❤❤❤❤

    Thanks for the recipe, but l disagree entirely with the plastic wraps as we have been educated time and again that it is toxic when it comes in contact with heat. It is not necessary at all. The corn husk in itself is perfect and even medicinal. The plastic wrap is not safe at all. Let's make every possible effort to eat safe and healthy meals. Auntie Hilda if l may suggest, kindly do a new video, but without the plastic foil wrappings. My harmless contribution to this video. Thanks.❤❤❤

      My dear, it is a big issue oo!! This is how they sell it now too. The Kenkey comes with melted plastic around it. Some don't wrap each Kenkey with plastic but still cover the top of the pot with plastic whilst the Kenkey is cooking. That is why I came to RUclips to learn how to do it myself.
      I didn't know I would find this. A lot of Ghanaians are dying of Cancer and I really mean a lot. When they get diagnosed they keep it a secret so people don't know how common these major disease health issues are among Ghanaians.

      Even plastic wraps and containers used for food that is not heated are an issue, talkless of cooking with it. It has been linked to all types of Health issues such as hormone disruption, metabolic disorders, reduced fertility etc. However, if you tell them they refuse to be teachable. It is After the damage has been done and they have fallen sick with some serious disease that they will be looking mobor, mobor and willing to listen to everything you say to them.

      @@kindomofghana Thanks my dear. Because of these reasons, I started preparing my own Kenkey long ago both the Ga and fante. Purely organic . No plastic contaminations. I just use some of the leaves to cover the top depending on which type am preparing (Ga or fante) then top it up with about 2 or 3 kitchen napkins and then firmly close it up with the cover of the pan in which am doing the cooking. No plastic or foil is used in my method. 👍👍Kenkey preparation is not difficult at all. I pray sincerely that every woman should try this on their own.🙏❤️
