    My husband and I just finished the kenkey and he was so excited with the results. This was our first time, we made the corn dough and let it ferment for 5 days and today we finished. My husband could not wait and he ate one right out of the pot...LOL Thanks you for the revised video because we both where a little confused :-) The only issue we had was wrapping the kenkey in the corn husk it was a challenge for us. Overall we are very satisfied with the end product....THank you so much!!!!

    Best money saving tip: cook your kenkey. One ball costs $2 where I live. 😂😂😂 the Indian bag of corn Flour is barely $7. Imagine how many balls you can make, especially if your family eats it often.

    But sweet dear, do u ve to necessary cook this for 3hurs ? Because I use coal-pot n the first time I tried it was soooooooooo soft that I really didn’t like it but the 2time I tried , it only cooked for an hour n half n came out very good.

    About ur question on aflata , nobody it aflata but u can eat the banku , and the banku is cooked completely the next Chemistry of mixing it with the fresh corn Dough is what's called aflata , so is to stages , first banku and change the chemistry into aflata , and then after the last cook u have kenkey or Komi

      love odo we usually don’t add salt to the kenkey while cooking so we add enough salt to the aflata to balance the taste once you add your raw dough🥰

    So I tried this recipe using the impossible husk and it turned out to be the best Kennedy I have ever tasted in the USA. Thank you, you are an excellent instructor. I was hoping to enjoy it with that your tasty Shito recipe but it has vanished from your uploads, what happened?

    @sweetadjeley please where did or what brand of corn husk did you purchase? I find that goals are usually smaller for tamales but the one you used was nice and wide.
