As a trans person I think it’s deeply important that we listen to detransitioned people. I don’t fear myself detransitioning but I understand that feelings change and I should never fear going along with that change. Whole point of transition is to live authentically! It’d be dumb of me to only follow authenticity when I like what that means for me.
Thank you for making these videos! They are very helpful for detrans and trans people alike. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

Same here, 1. I like hearing different people's experiences, and 2. It helps me know that this is right for me when I don't relate to the way detrans people explain why they transitioned and then detransitioned or how they feel/felt

i detransitioned in 2021 as well and watching your story has been incredibly validating and important to me. i'm so glad you're finding your happiness and peace however you find it.
i lost a close friend of mine who is trans because of this process because i supported your content. she told me i was a transphobe for detransitioning and that i was pushing it on her when all i did was speak on my experience and why i encourage people to question this. at the end of the day, i have much better friends who have supported me every step of the way, and i still check in on your journey through tik tok as often as i can.
please keep speaking on this. it's so so important. so many people want to silence our experience because it goes against a narrative but it's hurting so many people to ignore this reality.

    • @aliaxismail
      @aliaxismail  2 года назад +7

I have lost some friends too, but it’s okay! sometimes we grow from people and resonate with others. nothing bad about figuring your journey out and questioning yourself is the only way you can evolve and dive deeper in finding yourself. Just because you question yourself doesn’t also mean that you have to detransition, but it is reality that people do and if I knew about it sooner I might not have waited this long. But here we are. Thanks for your support!

Damn I'm so sorry you experienced that, I'm a trans guy and I have a huge amount of sympathy for detrans people, I can't imagine what I would've felt like if I had transitioned and like regretted it in some way, it's important to hear from all different types of people. Yes it's rare, but so is having ginger hair and blue eyes together, and we shouldn't just ignore things because it's rare :)

There's a lot more to this video than just this, but I've never commented in your channel before and I really wanted to say this: There's something about the way you talk about your experiences that just... resonates with me so much. The way you take change in stride, the way you simply accept your present as it is and CHOOSE to make the best of it, it speaks to me on almost a spiritual level. The way you flow is really inspiring, you are a beautiful person and your viewpoint of life has offered me a lot to think about and reflect upon myself.
Thank you. I hope things go wonderfully for you as your life progresses.

Glad to hear I explained it well for you! Glad you’re following your own path, I think some people get scared to admit that they don’t like how they’re perceived or treated in that gender expression. It’s totally okay to recognize that. Why live in a body or expression that makes you feel uncomfortable because of what others will think? I had to ask myself that and it was really hard.

Hi, I just came across your TikTok and then watched all your videos here. Thank you for sharing your story so eloquently! I’d like to point out that these stories are, for me, the opposite of invalidating, and I hope we can make a more welcoming environment free of old binary and gatekeeping ideals. We should never treat someone else’s personal journey as a threat.
I relate to so much of what you’ve said because in my fear of transition, I spent years first leaning into my masculine traits, and then trying to satisfy myself with nonbinary labels when that didn’t work.
When I finally transitioned, I was so sick of trying to fit people’s expectations that I decided to focus on expressing myself more freely and doing things because I like them, not because of what others will think. It’s been fantastic, one of the best choices I’ve made for myself. We always have more in common than we seem to assume. ❤️

(hope I didn’t offend anyone by mentioning Blaire 😬 )

    • @gogetyourgun1490
      @gogetyourgun1490 2 года назад

Blaire white is a known liar and an example of a pick me girl, but for trans women. She blatantly lied and spread misinformation about Alia. She said she regrets transitioning, Alia does not regret transitioning. It was also subtly condescending when Blaire White said in a surprising way that she was beautiful pretransition. Alia has always been beautiful before AND after detransition. You should not listen to her or take her seriously, she is a blatant liar who throws her own people under the bus to get cis people's validation and approval. Not healthy at all.

This is such an interesting topic. If we had been, let's say colleagues, I would've treated you differently as well. I am, in general very wary of men. I have a lot of bad expereiences with men, and I'm a lesbian so it's not from past relationships because I've never dated a man. I don't open up to men and I don't make friends with them. I talk to them, treat them with respect (as long as they deserve it), but I don't bond with them.

Hi, may I ask what ur experiences with men are? I don't mean to come off as passive aggressive or anything like that. But I dont understand why people are assuming all men are like emotionaless freaks who don't understand anything. I have been abused by men and I have also been saved by men. I have been kidnapped and I had past trauma that occured bc of men. But how come I'm not like u? How come I saw these past issues as a peoples problem not a gender specific problem?

Hello I am a bit lost and watching your videos I felt really understood for once... Right now I identify as genderfluid, but with time I found out I just like femenine things like make up and trans masc can also like that so... Idk I am really confuse... The thing is I also presented really femenine when I was younger and now I am 23 and I have this big urge to be seen as male, I hate being percive as a woman... But it is just because of society and I totally agree with you we are just a little moment of awareness in the extent of the universe, it doesn't even matter what you are if you are happy
But I need to know who I am and what I need to stop changing and wanting one thing and not wanting the other next day... Is exhausting... I really really like the idea of having deeper voice and a beard and a bigger body but... Idk if is it worth it because I also don't like getting involved with pills and all those things... I know whatever I do is going to be fine with me but I just want an answer so I can left this topic on peace...
I hope you read this.. thank you for talking about what nobody talks so openly it was so important to .e to listen this

Hi there! Thank you for sharing all of your feelings. It can be really hard feeling lost and just wanting to pick something so don’t have to obsess over this anymore, but sadly there will always be moments in life where we have those feelings, with so many things. I think right now the best thing for you to do is follow your heart. What calls to you. Safely try things and see what you like and don’t like. It takes a lifetime to find yourself and you’ll constantly be changing. Just move with happiness and love ❤️ good luck on your journey!

Your problem is verte common and is called "gender". Make up, dresses, wanted behabior... You are what you was born biologically. The problem comes when you prefer changing of "identity" and you forget that society is sexist and se must right against that, not aganist our bodys or identities. You're ok like you are.

Thanks for sharing this very valuable perspective with us. There seems to be some sort of stigma which is preventing detransitioning people of the male sex from speaking out and I hope this can be addressed by society so that these men can re-integrate after detransitioning from "f to m"...
There's going to be an enormous amount of detransitioners over the coming decade, especially as now the ideology has been thoroughly exposed for what it is and that we know full well the part that social contagion has played in it and what with all the children who have been put on a pathway leading to infertility, it's only a matter of time before the lawsuits roll in, thick and fast.

That means her uterus has not been removed which is why she is able to regain the function of her female body, & in the future if she decides to have children, she may still be able to do that as well. Hope this helped with some of your queries.

@Ruby I actually agree...I'm Catholic and we talk a lot about this. We are assigned our sex at birth by God (if you don't like that word there are other words to use). No amount of plastic surgery or medicine has the power to change that. Once we get in touch with our soul we understand that happiness, peace and joy come from having a sound healthy soul.connecting with spirit shows us the way.

I always slip up on gendered language even as a trans man. We’re just so ingrained to say masculine inclusion terms and I don’t mind it if someone used it for me, but I think just asking. A lot of people use “folks” or “y’all” and that’s super gender neutral!

    THE GOSPEL
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also
ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    - 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 KJV
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13 KJV
    SAVALATION
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    - John 3:16 KJV
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    - John 14:6 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
    - Mark 1:15 KJV

By God, lol. This random “man” that you look up to chose to assign me female the moment I was born. LMFAO. No, I was born in this body, and society chose to use the word female and male because of sex characteristics I had, and then imposed gender stereotypes on me because of that…got it 👍🏼
