    I had been using NIVEA | UV Super Water Gel SPF 50 PA+++ for a few year until I bought a UV mirror. I found out that I needed to put on a few layers before I could get the right SPF coverage. I was very disappointed as I just LOVE LOVE the texture and feel of NIVEA | UV Super Water Gel SPF 50 PA+++. When I use other sunscreens like Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ , European version of Avene and Bioderma - all I need to do is just one layer to get the SPF coverage.

    I love this format. Greasy residue & eye stinging are 2 big factors for me in choosing a sunscreen. That's so interesting you didn’t like the eucerin! Its my first European sunscreen & I liked it for my combo skin. No residue, dries quickly, no eye stinging, no white cast (I'm fair skin but a mid tone youtuber likes it). I highly recommend it. I'm sad mine is expired now. My first Asian sunscreen was the canmake mermaid gel & I loved that but the tube was tiny.

    I'd definitely recommend trying the Elta MD UV Clear in the new deep tint they have. It's a sheer tint and matte finish that I think will work well for a lot of people and I want more people to know about it lol

    Dear Benenon, Thank you for your Videos. II am a black lady with a combination skin prone to breakouts. Thanks to your review, I have been using Cotz richly tinted mineral sunscreen with 100 percent satisfaction. Merci Beaucoup, please keep up the good work.

    Thank so much for taking the time to do a review on these. I’m on the hung for a mineral sunscreen and I have yet to find one. I just purchased the cotz richly tinted one and I believe it clogging my pores. I’m an acne prone sensitive oily skin girly. I developed melasma from BC. Is there any tinted mineral spf you know might work for that ? Thank you !!

    It's funny, we have basically opposite skin (52, white, dry, not acne prone), but we love the same type of sunscreen. My top 5 are the same as yours with one exception, I'd give Skin Aqua Moisture Milk 5 stars as well.

    Nice review. My go to is usually the Cereve light moisturizer with sunscreen. I have noticed a little shine with it too, especially on reapplication. The other I routinely use Supergoop Make it Matte mineral😢 sunscreen. I don’t have oily skin but I hate the oily, shiny look mineral sunscreens give. It’s great under makeup. I think it might give a light cast to darker completions and I notice a too matte appearance on reapplication. I’ve tried CoTZ sensitive but not this one. It was so greasy and shiny and left visible residue when I worked out. I haven’t tried CoTZ since.

    The skin aqua gel was so easy to fall in love with years ago when my skin was more irritated. I had to stop it because I could never be sure it wasn’t a culprit, but I would love to try it again because it’s just so good.

    Started using cotz because of your review and it’s been such a relief to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave me looking like a ghost 😂. I also have oily acne prone skin and have experienced no irritation or breakouts with it. The only con is that it’s very greasy and makes me look really oily throughout the day. I have yet to try it during the winter but I’m looking forward to it!

    Hi and thanks for this "sum up" review. I don't know if you tried Cotz sunscreen before they created the deeper tint but I did and the previuos tint just helped the sunscreen becomes invisible even on my medium/dark skin complexion. It just took a little bit of time to blend. But I am eager to try the new tint to see the difference and hiw fast it blends

    • @benenon

      Yes! I tried the original formula and liked it too but this one vanishes faster with less rubbing.

    Thanks for the video🥰! I’ve tried a lot of these same sunscreens but would either get similar reactions or simply cause my face eczema to flair. Thankfully I discovered the Clear Choice Sport Shield Sunscreen for Daily Use, SPF 45 and I’m never going back to anything else. No white cast (I’m dark skin) and no reactions. 😊

    You have saved me some coins for sure. I like to throw on my sunscreen and go. I don’t have time for layers and all that. I haven’t tried the Cotz because I have 2 others I haven’t tried yet lol. But I’m currently using the Skin1004 water fit sun cream, and I like it. No cast, doesn’t make me hella greasy at the end of the day and feels nice. I don’t use moisturizer or makeup so YMMV lol.

    Alcohol is not good for dark skin. It exacerbates discolorations. We should have NAFE safe sunscreens. No alcohol, fragrance or essential oils. Thanks for including the ingredients list in your video!

    • @cow6969
      @cow6969 10 месяцев назад +1

      agreed. i love the way alcohol sunscreens (especially japanese brands) dries quickly on my skin & most of them are cast-free, but DAMN do they damage my skin barrier & sting if i use them too frequently

    • @werq180
      @werq180 4 месяца назад +4

      alcohol is fine unless you are sensitive to it.

    • @kerokero7137
      @kerokero7137 Месяц назад

      It's really not as problematic in SPFs compared to in other products. It's not being used unnecessary as a solvent for ingredients that could be dissolved in gentler mediums. In SPFs it's both mitigated by products under it like moisturizer and also is being used crucially as a dispersal agent. My skin hates alcohol in most products but as a final step product like sunscreen or in Aklief (buffered after moisturizer as well) then it can be much more well tolerated.

    I've tried about half on these and I agree with you 100% on those. I love love the isntree hyaluronic acid sunscreen but I got the sun gel rather than the stick and I didn't experience a film with that one so you might like it a little bit better. Another one I like almost as well is the madagascar centella hyalu-cica water fit sun serum which is at a little bit better price point. Definitely going to try the nivea next!

    • @kasispivey8698
      @kasispivey8698 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@HereDiianas Yep I do. I have pretty oily skin (except around my mouth which tends to be quite dry) and I hate pretty much all sunscreens for that reason, but for me the Madagascar one dries down to feeling like almost nothing there and no shine/dewiness. I would say not quite as good as the ISNTREE one, but pretty close. Plus the Madagascar one has a pump which is nice.
