I have Dehydrated Sensitive Oily Acne-prone skin.. The Isntree Watery Sun Gel SPF50 is perfect for my skin! It's lightweight and gives me a full hydration with sun protection..
Instree hyaluronic water sun gel is my life savior. I have acne prone oily skin and this works wonder on my skin. I’m using it for more than 8 months now and my skin never felt this good.
Would love a review on these korean sunscreens: •Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence •P.Calm Water Barrier Sun Cream •Goodal Calming Moisture Sun Cream •Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily Sunscreen •Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream •Scinic Enjoy Super Mild Sun Essence •Roundlab Birch Moisturizing Sunscreen
This is an excellent list.🤩 The Numbuzin and Round Lab are in my top 5, but I enjoy every one on your list. (Altho I haven't tried the Goodal yet.) Have you tried Hada Labo in the blue jar? It's overlooked because who likes a jar for sunscreen?? But if you get past that, it's a wonderful formula! Light and such a joy to use, especially for normal to oily skin.✌️💙💚💜
I’ve just watched like 5 other videos by bigger channels about sunscreens and yours by far was the best. The points you used to compare were helpful, you mention ingredients but mostly in the context of how it performs rather than going on and on about them (so boring) and I appreciated you showed it being applied, dried down, and under makeup. I actually know which one to buy now!! Thank you! You’ve got a new subscriber!! :)
you HAVE to try the haruharu wonder black rice airyfit sunscreen! Out of all the Korean sunscreens, it's become my FAVORITE, it feels so rich but absorbs to feel like nothing and doesn't make me too glowy. And not to mention the packaging is so cute! haha
9:45 like you have said this goes REALLY well with normal to oil skin. I use this sunscreen and it's so perfect for my skin type. I try to run away from the other one more moisturizing because of it ;)
I agree. Iunik Centella Calming Sunscreen is my current holy grail facial sunscreen. I do wear a prescription topical antibiotic, and otc Vitamin C serum and black snail mucin moisturizer under it.
Thanks for the great reviews. I have tried iunik centella, BOJ and Haruharu wonder sunscreens and my fav is BOJ. I think it mostly depends on personal preferences. 👍
I believe all of your least favourite sunscreens contain at least one older generation chemical filter. That could account for any stinging or unpleasant smell. I had the exact same experience where I used to only wear mineral sunscreens because Western chemical ones irritated my eyes and skin. Korean chemical sunscreens are the only ones that I can wear ❤ The OG Beauty of Joseon and Abib Heartleaf Sun Essence are my faves. Thanks for the in depth video!
I also don't get the hype around the isntree sunscreen. They say that it's hydrating enough that it can be used without any moisturizer for oily skin. I have combination to oily skin and I found it too drying while looking greasy on my oily tzone.
I have to save this video!! I was not so much into sunscreens, I used them only when going to the beach or hiking, but I recently started using the Jeju fresh aloe spf by the Saem and now I get it! I was so used to awful formulas, greasy and sticky, from the traditional brands you can find in any drugstore here in Italy, that I couldn't really use sunscreen everyday, I hated it! 😅
Im currentky enjoying the Heimish Artless Glow Base. As described, its glowy, and also acts as a primer. SPF50+, would very likely leave a peculiar cast on darker skins, but a lovely finish on pale people
I definitely added a few to my wishlist for my next sunscreen haul! I'm still working my way through my last haul. So far my favorites are the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF 50+ PA++++ and Kose Suncut UV Perfect Gel Super Water Proof SPF 50+ PA++++ (I think this one is Japanese).
I don't have oily skin but during the summer especially, I have a sweaty face so I prefer oily skin friendly sunscreen like gel spf.. but even the k beauty spfs that are more moisturizing still feel lightweight.. I'm excited to try some of these I haven't tried yet! I've heard good things about the make prem sunscreens but I'm pretty sure they're mineral and I can't be bothered with those anymore 😂
Can you please do a video on Korean cleansers that would be best for sensitive or rosacea skin? I need a cleanser to remove the sunscreen at the end of the day. However, I want to avoid anything that could strip my skin, dry it out, or irritate it. The cleanser needs to be gentle, but also do the job.
i really like ur descriptions of the sunscreen. i tried so many including the insntrreee one because people kept saying its hydratjng and dewy but it ended up too dry on my skin. i have the purito go to one that i like the hydration of but yes i do feel the weight of the cream so that puts me off abit. ive been trying to find innisfrees aqua water drop sunscreen it is disccontinued but that was honestly the most perfect for me. its like puritos go to but without the creamy weight of it. i tried beauty of joseon too but even that isnt hydrating enough to my liking. anything that disappears on my skin makes me feel parched. i do like a lil bit of grease on my skin cos it makes me moisturized and protected. ill be trying iunik. fingers crossed
The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Spf caused me the worst acne pustules i've ever had in my life, and a loooot of them. Very very sad, because it had the best texture ever T-T
Have you tried Thank you Farmer korean sunscreen? I've used both sun cream and sun protect light essence and it's been the best spf I've had in my life! Lightweight,no white cast, nice light scent. For my oily/combo skin the essence suits perfectly, for people with more of a dry/normal skin cream would suit better, imho.
Thank you for making this video! I would love to try more K- sunscreens. I’ve been using the Isntree one and I’m never going back to western sunscreens. I have sweaty, oily combination skin and this sunscreen feels like a lightweight lotion on my skin. I agree with you that it’s not moisturizing enough on dry flaky areas of the skin especially if I’m wearing some base makeup on top I need a bit more moisture.
I tried the Iunik and found out I’m sensitive to Tinosorb M (makes my eyes and nose burn/water all day 🥲), so I’m missing out on SO many of these. But I’ve been LOVING the Haruharu Airyfit and highly recommend also giving that one a try, if you haven’t already ☺️
8 & 10 both have homosalate (a Western filter). I'm allergic to it, so those bother me too. I rank the ones out of these 10 the same as you do. My holy Grail is the thank you farmer sun project skin relief sun cream (the green one). It is like the iunik but even more soothing. If my skin is red before application, the redness disappears within a few minutes of application. I highly recommend it.
the iUnik sunscreen was such a disappointment for me 😓 I cannot use it around the eye and for some reason it just doesn't feel all that nice on my skin. I loved the BOJ and Skin1104 sunscreens. And for my dry skin the Isntree watery sun gel was one of the most nourishing and moisturizing sunscreens I've ever tried. No extra moisturizer necessary.
This is my first comment on any video ever but I wanted to thank you for pointing out the two that had that classic chemical spf smell! I’ve seen so many people recommend the isntree one but I saw it has homosalate so I kept holding off trying it. Our US chemicals either stink or burn my face off. Nobody ever talks about that smell but it’s a dealbreaker for me. Thank you!

@@SarahRoseBeauty Thank you so much! It must seem silly to you that I would look for a sunscreen that would dry out my skin LOL. It's hard for me to believe at 47 I still produce this much oil even while using tret.
