For the peeps w/more sensitive / acne-prone skin: Personally, the cosrx snail mucin essence broke me out and has been doing so consistently, no matter what other products I use or whether it's night/day which actually sucks because the hydration was definitely there and even tho the acne showed up, my skin was palpably smoother. Unfortunately, same goes for the Beauty of Joseon rice sunscreen (although the breakout is smaller). If you have acne. prone skin, test out your skin's reaction to products with rice because another product I was surprised to see break me out was the Tirtir milk skin toner. On the bright side, I will always recommend the Skin 1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen. It is super light-weight, leaves no white cast, blends out beautifully & leaves a gorgeous glass-skin finish. One thing to mention only, it is a chemical sunscreen so avoid letting it get in your eyes cuz it will sting. !❤
I loved the sponge 🧽 demonstration! I’ll never forget that, now! This video was helpful b/c I have friends who gift me Korean skincare products and I cannot read the text in the back. It’s great to hear your thoughts and usage. Thank you!
About this vitc serum my personal experience is : at the beginning after using this my skin became darker shade and I really regretted a lot for buying this expensive product and stopped using this . Then after almost one or two months I started using it because and surprisingly my skin loves it and glowing too. Yes, I have changed my way of applying it. I pair it with snail mucin , maybe that helped me. Now I have almost finished this bottle , so in future I’ll repurchase it.
I can’t stand the Anua 77% slander, I was a fan of the product before it became viral without fail it always made my pimples in less than 3 days, it was an indie brand that was sold only in certain outlets. I went to Korea to hunt for in 2019, then after Covid this product became viral and in 2023 it went insane became no.1 product in Olive Young, it was fascinating to see and then as more people use of course it wouldn’t work on some people (like every skincare product you need to do patch test if you have sensitive skin) and then I watch as my fav toner got slandered as “industry plant” and “overrated” and people wondering why is it so watery not hydrating when it’s meant to soothe and prep but glad you gave it a chance! ❤🎉
hahaha im so glad I'm not the only one that feels that way! But how do you like it now? I surprisingly like it a lot now. It's not great on it's own but it definitely good to pair with the rest of the skincare products for the full routine.
lol same, still didn’t think it did much for my skin so switched to the naturie skin conditioner since it feels more hydrating and less then half the price for double the volume where I live and then got the skin1004 centella ampoule for when my skins upset. Works a lot better for me though I’ve heard the toner is good for people with a lot of acne
Glad you found this video helpful! I have a few more popular Korean skincare products that I plan to make a video on soon. I'll try to upload it this weekend. Hope you see you there!
Omg, the Goodal serum worked wonders for my skin. It took about 3 months of consistent use but it cleared all my darkspots. Defs worth giving a try if you're a slow and steady girlie.
Which one would you recommend between the I'm From rice toner vs the TirTir Milk Skin toner? I love the I'm From toner I used it for quite a while but I want to switch it up. I'm looking for the glass skin look
I have used different toners, rn using the Tir Tir Milk Toner. I absolutely love it. Very nourishing and moisturising for the skin . Right from the first use you will see the skin after absorbing feel very hydrated and supple. It's has Ceramide Np , beta glucan, two different peptides, oats, rice bran, centella, licorice, niacinamide and a lot more all the good ingredients for your skin. I use this at night coz it is heavier and use the lighter but also hydrating Tony Moly Ceramide Mochi Toner in the day
I agree about goodal! It’s my first vitamin c serum but it barely did anything! Unfortunately the Torriden also did nothing for me, maybe I should have used it with the moisturiser 😅
Naeema, you are SO RIGHT! I actually went to an Olive Young that mainly sold "value" packs so that's why my Anua 77% toner was also a big bottle and my other products such as Torriden or Goodal Vit C came with refill packs. When I picked up that big bottle of Round Lab, I did ask the sales associate if that was the sunscreen and she nodded "yes" (probably miscommunicated/language barrier). And b/c the store mainly sold "bigger" bottles/value packs, I didn't think much of it. OMG - thanks for pointing this out. I have a lot more korean skincare I'm currently testing and will make a part 2 video soon. I'll be sure to pick up the correct round lab sunscreen and talk about this mix up in that next video. Thank you so much for pointing this out! Zubiya - just like you, I thought this was just a bigger size bottle! haha
@@jesscho yeah, it's difficult when there is 0 English written on the packaging, luckily I'm a Korean skincare nerd so noticed it straight away 😅 the roundlab sunscreen is great though 👍🏽
thank you sm for this video!! i gave goodal vit c serum a try bc it was on sale and after using for about 1-2 months i still havent noticed any changes to my dark spots so i gave it to my sister and to my surprised it worked wonders for her skin, her hyperpigmentations were lesser so she decided to buy another bottle for herself. i'm sad it didnt work for me, until now there's no vitamin c serum(within budget) that can help >_
I totally agree. I finished 1 and a half bottle and did not notice ANY DIFFERENCE. I was stubborn to quit because of how everyone was raving about it, but it didn’t do anything for me.
You are not the only one who found goodal vitC unhelpful, me too, although i finished 2 bottles ( when i purchased it was 1+1(refill) ) Plus this serum is sticky 😢😢
I also have the 1+1(refill)!!! And yes, I also don't like the stickiness. Good to know that I'm not the only one that feels this way. Thanks for sharing! Have you found a better vit c serum?
@@jesscho i actually heard that the BIG 2 VitC serum in the korean skincare industry is goodal and ISOI But so far i tried both ( btw ISOI was so expensive compared to goodal one) but it doesn t work with my skin as well. I saw somewhere that roundLab vit C is also getting popular so i will try itㅜㅜ we ll see PS: MISSHA vitC serum worked SLIGHTLY on my skin ( but not the best i would say) maybe you can try it^^
thanks for the sub!! I'll definitely do a part 2 korean skincare video soon and be sure to include Isntree! Which products specifically from Isntree are you interested in?
Anua toner and serum Centella didn't help at all; skin was still always red/hot. But this changed in less than 1 week with I'm from Mugwort toner and cream.

I’m using this now. It has helped speed up the fading of dark post pimple spots.
thanks for sharing!! ok I'll continue to give it a try
I didn’t see any changes
A better Alternative to the Goodal Vita C Serum are the ISOI Blemish Care Up Serum, Anua niacinamide + TXA, and Rovectin Vita Dark Spot Serum.
thank you!! I'll look into that!
isol blemish care serum doesn't anything on my face with pimple care
How much the set of beauty products
amazing review , thank you !!!
