love that dr dray is getting her bag but don't be rushed to spend money if you don't need to. the snail mucin serum is $12 dollars on amazon compared to "on sale" at ulta for $18.75. and the peptide serum is the SAME at both ulta and amazon.

Just a heads up, beware of fake products on Amazon… idk exactly how to verify the seller/product, but just be aware. To note, I rarely buy off Ulta but I understand the convenience.
The peptide serum was the same price, though - and I didn’t see the lip mask on Amazon. Plus I got one other small item I already wanted, used points to save $3, got free shipping, and earned points. It’s all relative to the individual.

I will not buy skincare off of Amazon. Waaaaay too many fakes, especially the ones that are cheaper than you find elsewhere.
I've started applying this to my scalp and hair for the past two weeks and here is what I've noticed. The back of my head is the first part of my head that becomes oily throughout the day and have noticed it taking longer for me to experience an oily scalp. Hair is softer and more manageable in the morning. I have noticed hair becoming longer in areas that I had begun experiencing hair thinning/loss (hair line and hat friction area), hair has started looking more full, nothing dramatic, but noticeable. I apply and massage about 5 to 6 pumps to a semi wet/damp head right after the shower and let it air dry . I've been using the same shampoo, conditioner, and gel for months and haven't added anything to my hair routine until recently.
Ulta is so overpriced to begin with. Always compare their "sale" price to Costco, Amazon and Walmart, etc.

Can you use it if you are on Retin-A?
Hi doc, ur thoughts on stability of these peptides, plz ?? As someone who have worked in microbiology & biotechnology labs, peptides are pain in the ass to work with, they're highly unstable and are stored at -20c or even -80c freezers, they need to be thawed extremely carefully, little variation in temperature, PH or prolonged exposure to air, they denature instantly. Fresh solution is viable only for hours in normal fridge. I'm extremely skeptical that these are even viable sitting on sleeves and most cosmetics aren't cold shipped.
Your advice has absolutely changed my skin.

Prices are the same as Amazon and this brand usually goes on sale during prime days which is coming up on July 16th and 17th. Love cosrx and I feel like there are brands that would charge well over $30-$50 each for these products. Will def check out the peptide serum!

I don't go to Ulta or Sephora, except last Christmas for an emergency last minute gift.I shop Amazon, Walmart and K beauty sites. 🤷♀️ I have this peptide product and it's ok. I stopped using and replaced it with SK ll. Love it (bought on k beauty site).
I’ve been loving this product. I put it next to my shower… not inside it… so I remember to use it RIGHT as I get out of the shower. My skin is nice and damp and my skin eats it up. I’ve definitely seen a difference it my skin’s appearance.

How does this compare to the Ample:n peptide shot ampoule? Because that's been my HG for the past 2 years at least.
I have tried so many products over the years. The only two things that have really helped my skin is Tretinoin cream.025:/: and Omnilux red light therapy mask.❤
Do you have a issue with pigmentation? I do. I have read that red light therapy can cause pigmentation. Have you had any issues? TY
@@Lucygoosey1219 I am lucky that I don’t have pigmentation issues. I do have some superficial vessels and wrinkles. I think the Tret has really helped the texture of my skin and red light,the vessels and just give a glow to my skin. Not sure if its helping the wrinkles yet. Been using consistently for 6 months.
Yes to both of those but also sunscreen! Sunscreen and tret were huge and the omnilux mask pushed it up again. Serums and other actives have never done anything amazing. Best case they hydrate, worst case I spend weeks getting over a breakout or irritation.

I finished a few items from Cosrx, and here are some of my recommendations:
The niacinamide serum. I know that its concentration is really high, up to 15 percent. But Korean formulations are somehow pretty lightweight and gentle on my skin, even though the percents seem to be hella strong. I used 20% niacinamide before, which was unnecessary, and the result was fantastic. As a result, I can tolerate the 15%.
The vitamin C (23%) actually did nothing on my skin, but my sister's skin complexion was enhanced, which was really beyond her expectations. Her skin looked so bright and healthy. People kept asking her about how she had such a huge change in her skin.

@@Lucygoosey1219 No, I haven't used this duo before; I mean, both of them at the same time. But I finished the snail mucin a few months ago. I have a love-hate relationship with this item. It's not bad for sure; I love the hydration it brings to my skin, but you can only use 1-2 pumps; anything above that is kind of too much (based on my own opinion). Not to mention that it's very affordable. But it took me like months to finish, which makes me feel jaded with using it, haha.

Don’t know if you have already but can you comment on Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen and how it supposedly has top tier ingredients not found in the US?
It might just be me but I’ve been using it and the no white cast is nice but its been underwhelming. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling baby soft / healed next day like after using my neutrogena zinc sunscreen.

Amazingly, I just bought a bottle yesterday and literally just collected it from the Amazon locker. I cant really figure, though, if you think its any good or not but i love The Ordinary's Buffet (or whatever its called these days) so I'm hoping this is an equally good but cheaper version.

Pls review the viral Japanese Fino hair mask and Anua's anti hyperpigmentation and niciamide serum.
Also please review the iRestore Hair Care products, particularly the hair serum. I would like to know if it acts the same as minoxidil and that it causes shedding initially and it has to be used forever. I did not begin using it with the helmet and about 6 months have gone by now. I experienced no increase shedding with the helmet and would not want to begin using the serum now and then started losing whatever it is I have accomplished so far. Thanks! :-)

Not at all.
Cosrx snail mucin is def not heavy on my oily skin but personally i think peach slices' snail mucin is better in texture and price.
I have super dry skin but it broke me out.
I’m using compounded tretinoin now every day. I’m clearing out my skincare routine lol. I also got a perricone cream and I hate that I love it 😂

So, toners I’ve used are to be used to remove left over residue after cleansing. This doesn’t seem to do that. How should I include that step while using this? Also, I use tretinoin. Should I put the tretinoin on first?
Oh ,you must learn more about basic skincare..first you are cleaning your face with cleanser based of your skin type,than you should put some hydrating toner, after that serum like c vitamin, niacinamide,peptides ,retinol..etc. depends of what you are prefer and you finish with moisturizer,and in the morning always SPF , that it's a basic skincare routine , but you should watch more videos here on this channel and you will learn much more. ..greetings from Greece I hope you can understand my broken English 😂

Some toners are to remove any excess dirt after cleansing but this COSRX one is different. I have been using it for mths however I like a toner that cleanses before I use my other products so that is why I asked Dr. Dray how.

How is everyone using the Snail Mucin 96 with tretinoin a night?
I use the Cos RX hyralonic serum and bought their face wash without looking at the label since the serum worked fine for me. The face wash has tree tea oil in it - makes my skin bubble up like a lizard. Had to give it away.

As long as it's not ascorbic acid it should be fine. But check the Cosrx site because they also have a vit c serum that they say can be used with their peptide serum.

If niacinamide stings, does it mean that I shouldn't use it? Or is it okay to just power through?
Dr Dray has a video, why niacinamide burns & causes redness. Usually, the one ingredient derms will say is okay if it stings at first is azelaic acid.
Use sparingly, like twice a week
Can you use this in the AM with Vitamin C?
Usually, ascorbic acid and copper peptide aren't recommended but the vit c derivatives and copper peptides are supposedly fine. But it can depend on the product (like I think Cosrx says it can be used with their vit c).
But if they have shown to smooth out wrinkles, do we really care how they do it?
Would you consider doing a review on the Advanced Clinicals range of products? The pricing seems too good to be true and have thousands of reviews. At least the ingredient lists suggest its integrity driven.
She has actually reviewed some of these products already! I know that she has recommended the Advanced Clinicals Retinol Advanced Firming Cream in the past :)
