Hi Ramon! Do you have any videos that explain the difference between US sunscreen filters and Korean sunscreen filters? Specially, I know zinc and titanium dioxide are prominent mineral filters but are there different mineral filters in Korea?
I have been using some by mi chemical sunscreen I hate it! Idk why they say sensitive frndly when they have added essential oil Literally it stings my face!
Technically lavender oil is mostly associated with calming the skin but they did add that on top of fragrance and tea tree so I really don't know how they justify their claim that it's suitable for sensitive skin as it is anything but that.
The SKIN1004 Hyaluronic Cica does contain “t-Butyl Alcohol” which is an ethanol denaturant, a dehydrating agent. It’s probably why it gives a mate finish. I really wanted to love this one.
Good thing that there are good fatty alcohols. If you see "cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, t-butyl alcohol, Glycol in the ingredients list, you're safe to purchase this product. These alcohol are from natural sources like coconut oil, and are used as emulsifiers and stabilisers. This ingredients will be used to help maintain their texture and for their moisturizing and soothing benefits. These alcohols are safe to go for all skin types, even for dry skin.
BOJ has dibutyl adipate which websites describe as an emollient/solvent oily liquid... so is this essentially oil on par with other oils or is it less intense? i only ask because this doesn't mix well with 90% of cosmetics which contain silicone especially for concealer where the eye skin is obv more mobile, and silicone + oil is known to break makeup apart.
The SNP sunscreen - does it smell strong of alcohol. I feel like the Biore one (atleast the one I got off Amazon) does smell strong alcohol that put me off.
Hydration is not enough for me. I NEED moisturizing. There's not a lot of options in the K&J world imo. The closest is the new Purito Daily Go To Sunscreen. Yes it feels greasy and moisturizing BUT not in a heavy manner. I'll be sticking with it for a long time. The temps where I'm at is 36⁰ at night and low 60's during the day. Humidity is disappearing. So yea. 🤣. Give me the crisco.
Yes I ordered the BOJ FRom them…it’s funny cuz you won’t get shipment updates until like the day before it arrives. It took about 2 weeks to arrive to me in Florida. But oddly, the return address on the box was a diff company name in Compton, CA, not Hong Kong. Lol it’s a mysterious company 😂
If any did for him I'm sure he would say that, but it is a very individual thing that differs from person to person and depends on the other products you are using.
@@morgianasartre6709 I actually never heard him talking about piling or maybe I missed those videos. And yeah It's an individual thing but sometimes the product formulation is a cause of piling and its for majority of the people
@@justrandom955 I've only had a sunscreen pill on me once and have not heard anyone have the same experience with it while other sunscreens that work perfectly on me pilled on others, if a product does not work for the majority of people it just won't be sold for long (like the glow recipe sunscreen failure).
Great reviews as always. I’m always so reticent to try new spf since I have a handful that I love. That BOJ sunscreen is hot in the community these days!

So yea. 🤣. Give me the crisco.
Have any of you ordered from Stylevana? I want to order BOJ but I’ve seen mixed reviews on the company.
Ramon please also do tell us which sunscreen cause piling and which don't
@@morgianasartre6709 Thanks For this!
😂😂😂 I love the way he describe the smells of the sunscreens.
SNP is very popular in korea it seems. i got pushed this brand
Great reviews as always. I’m always so reticent to try new spf since I have a handful that I love. That BOJ sunscreen is hot in the community these days!
Which one of these is the richest and the most hydrating?
I feel like I'm being gaslit by the internet on the Skin1004 and BOJ sunscreens. Skin1004 feels *so heavy* on my skin and takes a long time to rub in if I'm applying the right amount. BOJ breaks me out horribly and sensitizes my skin. Both are huge fails for me but everyone seems to love them!!
Super silly question: what's that word you kept using during the video? "It's a komar/Kolmar/Colmar (???) sunscreen..." Sorry, non native English speaker here:)
Here it is: Manufacturer / Distributor - Kolmar Korea Co., Ltd.
@@applezaida3815 aaaah, ok. I thought it's a specific combination of ingredients or formulation, not a company. :) Thank you!
Thanks for this video, what is the name of the Korean spf manufacturer? Colmar?
How many pumps of the SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum would you guys say are required for the face on average?
That’s going to be dependent on your own face. I do 4-5 for mine, I have a small face. I have a video explaining the process if you actually want a decent approximation for how to figure out much you should use.
@ Thanks for the info and the quick reply. :)
How can you tell if a sunscreen is manufactured by Kolmar?
You might have to use Google translate, but on the back of Korean sunscreens it will tell you
@ so it’s in the physical packaging, which sucks because most sunscreens dont post the back of their prints online😭
Are all these chemical sunscreen ?
Bailey Marian inspired 🤨
