Thank you *so much* for mentioning 3 sunscreens w/Meroxyl. I've had surgery to remove skin CAancer twice, once on face. Been looking for UV Mune 400/Meroxyl XS. 🥰
I LOVE the new purito soft touch. As long as I don’t use too many serums under it it keeps me from looking too shiny like the daily go to. I love that it has several ceramides as well
@@salmonsivalentaif anything because of the controversy, purito is probably the brand you can trust the most because you know they have it completely tested this time around
Thank you so much for being so thorough and factoring in all the various textures and skin types etc. After various RUclipsrs I respect (and still do😊) raved about the R and R mineral (yes I know that mineral suncream usually have different texture to chemical) sunscreen last year I purchased two online. I regret doing that as I cannot stand the stuff! 😂 for me, it feels, smells and looks like used cooking oil 🤦♀️🤮. I am not blaming anyone, I did learn a lesson though 🤦♀️🤣
@@amaristoledo4366 no, making sure it doesn’t irritate my eyes was important. Obviously it can effect people differently. But the Skin1004 hyalu-cica water fit sun screen does not sting my eyes or make them water. It’s just like applying a very light moisturiser. It’s a real pleasure to use. It’s the only spf I will use on my face currently. Hope it helps.
I’d love to know how it compares to BOJ sunscreen if you’ve ever tried it in terms of feel and finish. I am looking for something as lightweight as BOJ but with less shine.
Korean sunscreen are great for winter time at least for me I’m really pick and during warmer months I need them to be high UVA and water resistant 💦 so European for the winning :)
Great timing with this. Thank you so much. Summer is coming and I’m on the hunt for a great summer sunscreen. I hate waiting (in Calif) but it works so well for my brown & combo skin. Be well.
I don't understand why Stylevana still even bothers with influencer collabs when they're having troubles fulfilling orders. Myself and many, many other people are not receiving our orders despite months of waiting. Emailing customer service doesn't help as they won't reply. And all comments on social media (Instagram) are being met with a copy&paste reply, which just makes it so much more aggrevating.
I’ve been waiting for my order for two months. It is okay. I just order 10 or 20 sunscreens so I’m never out of them. And I know the wait time of a new order takes long
Love the BofJ sunscreen and also the bellflower avocado sunscreen. I want to try the Isntree sun gel. I’m always on the lookout for ones that my kids will use without complaint. Will definitely try one of the sticks for them.
My only problem with korean sunscreens (and skincare) is how obsessed they are about putting silicones and hyaluronic acid in everything. Silicones are for me hard to wash off and HA can cause inflammation of the skin and should also not be used with retinoids:/ But good luck finding korean sunscreens without these two ingredients
Thank you for this thoughtful comparison video! I’m looking for a sunscreen that can replace my moisturiser. BoJ was not hydrating enough for me. After watching your video, is my interpretation right that Dr Ceuracle would be most hydrating as a moisturiser?
I know that filter concentration can't be directly translated to an SPF value. But still I am a bit suprised at how low the filter concentrations are of these SPF products. It ranges from 7.84% to 8.6%. On average SPF50+ sunscreens often need 15-25%. So I am curious how they managed to reduce the filter content and boost the SPF to such an extend.. I'm not aware of any EU, Australian or US sunscreen that has been able to reduce the filter content so much...
Thank you so much for your recommendations and have been using a few of those. Decided to try a few of your new recommendations along with some Korean toners. Finally made the order from Stylevana last week. Have not heard back from them after payment made and order still in processing status Sent a few messages but not heard back 🤔
Thanks for this round up Renee! Any chance you might know of a 100% physical sunscreen that comes even remotely close to the original pre-reformulation Make P:rem UV Defense Me SPF50++++? It was literally my perfect sunscreen... at a perfect price point. The reformulated one doesn't have the same texture or drydown, and has chemical filters that sting my face and eyes... argh! Why oh why do brands have to mess with perfection?! I guess some people love the new one. Not I. I've been using one of your other recs, the Biore Pure UV Milk as a stopgap, and I love how simple the formula is and how smoothing it is, but it just doesn't ever dry down and stays sticky unless I blot it with blotting paper, which is pretty wasteful. I've tried at least a dozen physical sunscreens since then and so far nothing comes close. I'm also ghostly pale, so tinted formulas are always too orange for me. Help?! Anyone?!
Can you recommend a few sunscreens with very low alcohol? Most sunscreens, especially the watery lotions, enhance my wrinkles. They dry down and make my skin feel tight. I don’t want to be a shiny, slimy mess, either though! I need sunscreen to be moisturizing while still feeling like nothing on the skin….and needs to play well with makeup!

Please 🙏 I’m sure many women like me are so tire of spending hundreds of dollars on sunscreen that burn our eyes. Can you please tell us if you know which ones do not burn your eyes thank you. ❤❤

Since these sunscreens use different filters, how much do you apply for the stated protection? For US sunscreens, general rule is 1/4-1/3 teaspoon or 2-3 fingers for your face. Does this apply when using Korean sun filters?
Are any of the sunscreens water resistant? A lot of ksunscreens are really great to apply but many are not resistant to a lot of sweating in the summer or water exposure.
