Good morning. Thank you so much for the recipe. With your corn bread recipe and the chicken stock omg it was awesome. Followed your directions to a T. My youngest daughter shes 26 was helping me this Thanksgiving she was spooning the stock in a cup and drinking it. She said it was delicious then she was eating my corn bread I honestly didn't think I was gonna have dressing, it was to funny. Oh and and the macc and cheese recipe with the smoked Gouda it was to die for. Me and my family just love your recipes. Oh and I'm a convert to Duke's. Look forward to trying many more of your delicious dishes.

This is how I make Dressing except I use turkey thigh to make broth and shred meat in dressing. Smoked Gouda makes the best macaroni and cheese along with jack and sharp cheddar colby. I live in Chicago I converted to Dukes from Hellman's about 15 years ago when I tasted in TN. I make Dressing for 3 families every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This is my 3rd year making this dressing for the holidays and it's a HUGE hit with my family. My 18 year old niece called me earlier this week and told me that she has never eaten or liked dressing until she tasted mine last year and asked if I'd share the recipe. I sent her this video. For her to have never liked dressing to wanting to make her own this year I felt obligated to come back here and give you your accolades once again! Happy Holidays everyone!

I'm getting ready to make the stock for the dressing recipe I'm a bit nervous since I haven't cooked thanksgiving dinner always going back home (Mississippi) for that holiday. My older siblings can throw down but I didn't get the knowledge they did from momma I guess after 10 kids she was not feeling her best 😢. I got all my ingredients. Oh by the way I previously made your mac/cheese, yams, oven chicken, hamburger steak, chicken pot pie etc. My husband said girl you can cook I almost fell out my chair😮 I said nope (That Girl Can Cook) . I really appreciate you for pulling it out of me you're truly a blessing. When I get ready to watch your videos I say let me see what my sister is talking about today🤗.

The best dressing recipe hands down! This was my first year hosting Thanksgiving (& making dressing) I made 3 different top recipes I found off RUclips and yours by far was the favorite! I decided to do it this way because if you mess up the dressing they’ll never let you forget, so I didn’t want to risk making one recipe then they hate it! So I said hey let me make 3 different recipes to see which one is liked that best because they’ll have to like at least one , right ? Anyway y’all follow her recipes exactly how she explains then and you definitely won’t be let down !!

My momma taught me to make dressing and now I make it every year. However, I am definitely going to try this one. We make giblet gravy with a dark brown roux and add some of the dressing that was set aside for the gravy prior to baking the dressing along with the meat from the turkey neck and chopped gizzards and liver. I use some of the turkey stock from the baked turkey instead of chicken stock. Thanks for the awesome recipe. Can't wait to try it this year.

Thanks for sharing. This was quite helpful. Since my mom turned in her "dressing-making retirement papers" a few years ago, I have been trying to "perfect" her recipe. She is still living and lives very nearby, but she is more of a "free spirit" type cooking teacher where she shows you a couple of times and gives you the overview, and then leaves you to find your own thing. (Her famous words, "All you have to do is...) She actually believes that we should know how by now since we have seen her make it so many times. ☺She is a fabulous cook, but never really loved it; therefore, she was never hardcore about how anything should be made. But her dressing was a family favorite that must be right! I noticed that many of your steps very are similar to hers, but her flavors and seasoning choices are opposite yours. Her key ingredient is LOTS of celery and poultry seasoning and no canned anything. The way you feel about celery is the way we feel about bell pepper! 😝 But no matter how individual families make it, CORNBREAD dressing rules the family feast!

It was delicious but I didn't like taste of the cream of onion but i knew that I loved the dressing itself. I made it again today without the cream of onion and OMG! IT 👏🏾 IS 👏🏾 SO 👏🏾 GOOD👏🏾! My entire family is raving about the dressing. Thank you for putting this recipe out. This will forever be my go to for dressing.

Your dressing cooked up so beautiful and golden brown, oh my goodness, it looks delicious. My recipe is so so close to yours. The only difference is that because I don’t like sage (just a personal thing that I don’t like it, people act like I am crazy). My sister tells me that I didn’t belong to my mama because I won’t eat sage. Anyway, I use poultry seasoning instead of sage. I watched the video all the way through and still couldn’t figure out what you did different that got it to brown up so pretty. You must just have the touch girl. Keep on cooking ❤️❤️

I love to boil 6 to 8 eggs (according to their size). I dice 2 or 3 and add it to my gravy along with a handful of my shredded chicken.
Then when making my dressing I make my cornbread using white lily mix + my chicken / chicken stock the day before. I Then strain my chicken stock. Once at room temp I put the strained stock &chicken in the fridge. The next day I debone my chicken That way i wont burn myself.i add my stock to a pot & rewarm it. Then in my dressing I add 1 pack of pulled apart hamburger buns, crumbled cornbread, chicken meat, diced hard boiled eggs, & chicken stock (added slowly). Along with seasoning. Bake it in the oven until golden.
The hamburger bun makes it alot smoother than just the cornbread. I make 2 pans & that is the only way I know to make it so I have leftovers. I promise it's a game changer.
