    Paradise Auto:
➤ Paradise Chevrolet has been working with me to provide products at their cost for the Lethal Classic build. This in turn has saved me and the channel money on the build that has currently added up to $700ish bucks. I shop and purchase product at Paradise Auto and felt this partnership was an easy pair due to them being a great source for Chevrolet product and information. Hit up Erik with all your questions.

How the valve springs are put together is actually awesome. I'm hoping to do a cam sway soon on my 5th gen and I'm going to change the springs, retainers, seats/seals, and push rods so this was super helpful. You're the man, Matt! Also tell Bowtiebritches I send my thanks for helping teach everyone cool engine stuff.

Mike is doing a great job. A little trick for the keepers is to put a dab of all purpose grease on the tip of the valve stem. Then simply put the keepers in and the grease will hold them in place until you are finished.

Learning so much from you and Mike watching your build. Can’t wait for episode 5!

A small dab of grease on the keepers will "stick" them in place when reassembling. Saves time.

He used impact while using his tool and not the other. Using a power tool over hand tool is the 30 seconds right there. Not to mention he is familiar with his tool not the new one. New tool is faster two at a time is always faster then one at time. Give him some time to get familiar with it he will pick up in speed with it. I know from experience.

At about 31:30 you were talking about something being too long, it turned 1-1/2 times. What were you talking about?

Pushrod being to long resulted in 1 1/2 or more turns of the rocker arm bolt being torqued down. So they went to a shorter pushrod to put less preload on the lifters. What I would like to know is what length they ended up going with cause I feel I have the very issue he is talking about.

See if your eldest son wants to hop in and help you more - not sure if he's interested or not. I think it would be great and you can add those memories to the channel and teach him the skills to use in the future..

I built the full motor and forward assembly for about $10k but I saved a lot of money being a dealer for a lot of parts
