As soon as I stopped limiting myself because I don't know much about the board, I started messing with EVERYTHING and all songs. Hot cues are my best friend. Literally ha. Legit just found out about having a memory cue activate on it's own before this video lmao. That's gonna free up space for sure, and worry of timing my cuts on loops. Good videos here man. Especially for someone like me that has spent about 5 months learning most of the stuff on the board on my own/through videos. Just watching what other dj's do, opens up doors. Limitless possibilities. That is what DJing provides. Absolute blast!
Hi. How do you get the slow down effect when you use the pause button? When I press my pause button on my Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3, it just stops the track. Is this effect only possible with the pioneer deck you are using?

what youre teaching is pretty cool,and your efforts are really paying off. but... you using remixes instead of OG tracks makes it difficult to understand what changes you made on the CDJ sound like... your explanation is pretty compact, clear and easy... but what is happening, what difference did your tools make... still looking through your other tutorials... cause ill figure it out but would appreciate if you could.... use tunes that are not remixes
In the beginning I used to use the back spin method but that technique used to confuse the crowd (it was during cdj-1000 mk3 days). I was even given thumbs down by few after using that transition but then i stopped using it immediately 😂😂
