I really want a countertop dishwasher for my apartment. I have ADHD, and handling dishes is the hardest thing for me to do since there are a lot of steps to do when washing dishes by hand. A dishwasher can eliminate a lot of steps. But I can’t really afford any right now.
My family has had an ice cream scoop shaped exactly like that but metal and has some thing inside that when shaken warms it up and it scoops even better than anything else. We’ve had it for about 15 years.
That popcorn maker was around in the seventies before every household had microwaves. We used to shake a pot over high heat until our arms fell off, so this was a great product. Hardly new. We used to put the butter in a space on top of the clear bubble and would drip down on the popcorn while it popped. That part didn't work so well. We always melted the butter in a tiny pan and drizzle it afterward. Nothing beats freshly made popcorn the old fashioned way. I'm glad they brought this back for the new generations.
I can say I bought it for the same reason. I use it to crochet in bed and it's the best light I've ever owned. I tried many headlamps b4 James reviewed that
@@elaniarkady7351 I think it's definitely worth it. I thinks I paid about $17.99 for it on Amazon and I got a rechargeable one so I wouldn't have to worry about batteries

I've had my fair share of counter top dishwashers and I find they work awesome for about a year or two and then something breaks that costs about the same as the unit to fix. I'm still debating getting another regardless because they do work well for awhile. And lol, forget the warrenty.
My parents bought a Stir Crazy popper in the early 80s and they still use it a couple times a week to this day. It's hard to say if new tech will last as long, or if the name brand has been bought out by a different company, but it's a simple design that works great. The counter-top dishwasher looks the most interesting to me. I'm a single guy who washes dishes by hand, but that takes extra time and water and things are never perfectly clean (like tall drinking glasses). My kitchen is small and a full size dishwasher would be overkill, so maybe I'm the exact demographic for one of these.
You sound like the perfect demographic! Then you could save hand washing for pots and pans. As for the Stir Crazy, one of my colleagues used to keep one in her classroom. If they were having a personal reading day they’d earned or a celebration, she could make several batches of fresh popcorn as a healthy snack.
Before you buy this countertop dishwasher, buy some good quality dish gloves and use very hot water for your dishes..and soap of course. I live alone too and couldn’t imagine feeling good about taking up my limited kitchen space for this item. As for time, if you wash your dishes after every meal it takes what, five minutes? Not a big deal.
@@louisefontaine6856 I realized how quickly you can wash up dishes when I got my first microwave (1984). I would set it for 2 minutes , turn to the sink and wash dishes and be done before the time was up. It never seemed to be a chore after that !!

OMG, that dishwasher makes me giddy, I the full size of course but this is a must have and THANK YOU. Who knew!!! I also got the pan. I just wish I could get a single 8-inch pan.
I bought the beautiful Ninja Foodie pans based on your review. I had just gotten a new Induction / Convection / Air Fryer stove...and this was a perfect compliment. Nothing is more amazing than cooking an egg with ZERO oil, and have it turn out perfect with no sticking. After 6 months, still works like day ONE!
Stir Crazy has been around for years. As a kid my family used one and it made great popcorn for years until it eventually wore out (though that took over a decade). Nice to see it's not only still around, but still making great popcorn.
Warning on the cirkul. They advertise no sugar but most of their flavor cartridges contain either stevia or sucralose. Only the PureSip flavor cartridges are sweetener free. May not be a big deal to most but if your sensitive (like I am) it’s the difference between a good day and a debilitating migraine.
On your recommendation, I bought the neck light and it's great! I use it while I crochet in the evening and it's a game changer. I am purchasing some for Christmas presents too! Many thanks, James! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, I am thankful for you! 👍
Hmm, that might make another great gift for my grandmother, who has bad eyes. I already got her some knee braces that warm and massage, but am trying to think of a few other things I might be able to tack on to that one gift without breaking the bank, lol.
I got the neck light also and use it almost exclusively for crocheting and other crafts! I laughed out loud recently when I was at a local garage getting some work done on my car when I saw my mechanic using one of these neck lights while working on my car!
I had a Stir Crazy popcorn maker decades ago and I'm kinda tickled that it's really not changed all that much since then. If you haven't already tried it and like buttered popcorn, throw a few pats of butter on the spot where the steam comes out. (Top of the dome/bottom of the bowl).
Hey James! Question about the hoodie/backpack -- what do you do with the stuff you loaded up in the backpack if you get cold???? 🤣🤣🤣 Love your reviews!
With the Cirkul, you have to buy the Cirkul bottle and their single-use, plastic flavor cartridges. Granted, you can still use the bottle for straight water but then I already own multiple water bottles including my large, insulated Yeti bottle which is my favorite because ice that I put into it at 6 AM is still ice at 2 PM. Insulating performance aside, the price point and amount of waste generated make it unreasonable especially when I can buy sugar-free Crystal Light in a lot more flavors for literally pennies on the dollar or make homemade lemonade sweetened with agave (which produces zero waste when packaging is recycled).
Honestly electric grills are amazing. I really recommend them for college students, not just because you can't use actual grills in small spaces but because you can cook so many things with it in an easy way, it really helps to keep a better diet than just eating instant food
I actually _found_ my George Foreman at college. Out in the snow... Good cleaning and it works fine. Some damage to the non-stick surface, but hey, it was free!
Once I had to live out of a hotel for 2 months for training in another state. Luckily I was able to have my boyfriend with me at the time. His birthday happened while we were there. Ended up buying an electric skillet, making him a real feast, including steak and crab. One of the best purchases I ever made, that skillet. Absolutely agreed.
I had a George Foreman grill like 2 decades ago. I was living my healthiest life! I'd throw grilled chicken and veggies on there the fat would drain off and it's quick. Obviously, they tinkered with some things, but concept is relatively the same. Definitely going to buy one for spring to get into shape for summer. Thumbs up.
I have the deluxe George Foreman grill which has removable grilling plates for ease of cleaning and extra plates with surfaces for other food types including waffles. Bought it for my mom about 15 years ago and she recently gave it back to me as she moved to a place with less counter space. It's still in pristine shape despite her having used it quite often. Before I received that we had 2 Foremans, a tiny almost single item grill and the larger size good for doing bigger thick pork chops. They're okay still but small one has some damage to the Teflon (and is actually Teflon so not safe to use if you have birds in your home) the bigger one still in great shape and will likely sell it at a garage sale for a few bucks in the near future as I don't need 3 of the danged things! Bottom line is if you have a Foreman already you're unlikely to ever need to replace it because they're very durable and reliable and any of them take up less counter space than that Shaq grill which looks huge!
Thank you so much for all the Thank you for being the Guinea pig for us. One thing that is a big consideration in a product is, does it do something so much better/easier that it’s worth having the item to clean and find a place for. For instance a rice cooker that eliminates the problems with stove top cooking like having to monitor the pot and not under or overcook the rice. Keep up the great work.
This video just made me go out and buy the Cirkul water bottle and about 8 different flavors. I like the idea of flavor cartridges and being able to control how much flavor/water I'm drinking. So great job and you made a sale!
I bought the Stupid Car Tray. I love it. If someone needs to sit on the seat, it unhooks easily from the seat. Don’t know how I ever got along without it. There’s also a bonus space under the tray where the car seat is lower, so I can store small essentials that are easily accessible.
Thank you James for another great year of awesome reviews and look forward to next year's reviews. I like that wine bottle opener, it looks so fast and easy.👍🏻😊
I bought a set of the Ninja Foodi pans and I really like them. They've held up very well and so far have no scratches even though I have used metal spatulas and whisks with them while they were hot. My only negative, and it's not the pans fault, is that I used the big pan for a deep-dish pizza on my BBQ grill and the temp went to 550 F. The pans are supposed to be good to 500 F. Well, the pan survived well with no issues, but I used a silicone glove to extract the pan from the grill, and the silicone melted onto the pan's handle. The handle is now permanently stained with black silicone. I have reheated the pan to 500 F and then tried to rub the stain off with some paper towels but it didn't work. As long as the pan still works I'm happy. BTW, the silicone glove was supposed to be good to 500 F too but it certainly couldn't survive 550 F. In fact, I was lucky that my hand only got very hot and didn't have silicone melted onto it. The pizza was delicious too.
I love your best of the year videos cause they are a great way to remind myself of things i wanted to get people and makes the holiday season that much easier for me
I purchased one of those ice cream scoops that you tested out and it was absolutely horrible and I realize that you were testing on that bucket of ice cream which is cheap ice cream and it’s extremely soft. Maybe you can do another review one year and try the Breyers chocolate. That is rock hard and I’d like to see you use the same ice cream scoops with that ice cream!
Talk to me in a year with the ninja pan. I've gotten all sorts of pans that are supposedly non stick and they all stick and get scratches after a while. The only ones that haven't are my granitestone one that after a couple of years nothing sticks to. My best pan is a no name grill pan l paid 5 bucks for on the clearance rack at Homegoods.
I have a stir crazy popcorn maker and I love it! It's the same popcorn maker that used to have the yellow dome lid which you must remember because they were around for a very long time. This is the same popcorn maker they've just changed the top of design a little bit. :-) that's the kind of popcorn I like I don't like stale air popper popcorn.
Ninja always comes through every ninja product I've ever had I actually really enjoyed and they're still kicking. I feel the same way about Shark vacuums
When cleaning burnt food from the Granite Stone pans, I've found that if you soak the pan in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes the burnt food just rinses out usually not even requiring a sponge. My Granite Stone pans are all 1 to 2 years old and heavily used.
That's amazing! From my experience with the ninja foodi surface I can say that nonstick surfaces like these seem like magic when your food comes off with zero effort.
I've been addicted to your videos since I found you over a year ago and nothing has changed. I get excited for new videos every time. I don't comment much but this video really inspired me to since I was going "oh yea I remember that one!" to all of these lol
Yes, I actually bought that pan a couple of months ago because of your review. It’s the best pan I’ve ever used and I don’t think I need any other one lol
I bought one of those neck lights for camping, don’t like headlamps. Really useful that I can direct the lights in different directions, gives a much wider range of vision when trying to cook in the dark, or I can aim one just in front of my feet and I’ve a bit further up the path on those Kate night trips to the toilet block. I’m always pulling it out for stuff t home too, like crafts & reading in bed.
8:06 I got one and definitely enjoy it. It's a lot faster than you'd think compared to other solutions. I will say a few things: If you're using popcorn oil/butter, you'll end up adding more when it's done. Be careful when taking the lid off as it tends to still be very hot (give it a solid minute after the last kernel pops for sure). There feels like there's a lot more kernel shrapnel as compared to microwave popcorn. This may not be a big deal to some but as you get down to the bottom of a bowl, you'll be grabbing handfuls of it towards the end. Otherwise I definitely enjoy it. getting popping corn and using something like this is FAR more economic than bagged/microwave popcorn.
Your videos NEVER disappoint me, and I honestly don't think I can say that about any other channel I subscribe to. You have saved me a ton of money over the time I've been watching you that I would have spent on junk products, and have steered me to some pretty great things I otherwise would have missed out on. Thank you, and keep the great vids coming! 👍
Loved the reviews overall but I have to say the pan review was suspect. Like the cheese one because you laid a tortilla on top of the cheese then lifted up the tortilla for the Hexclad where you pressed the tortilla into the cheese then slide it up the side for the ninja. Hmmm.
James, how in the world do you manage to make my Christmas Shopping easier?! This was PERFECT timing! Loving these ideas... especially for my more difficult people to shop for (you know the ones who you want to get something more unique for and you know they love the thoughtful gift more than any pricetag). 💯🎉💯
Right? I got my hubby the Allet wallet from last year’s list. He protested that he didn’t need a new wallet. He also hasn’t stopped using it. Now I’m eyeing that hoodie for our son.
When you're reviewing ice cream scoopers could you find a sugar free version to review as well because they tend to be a lot harder so it's really difficult to find an ice cream scoop that will actually work for the sugar-free one
I really enjoy your reviews.. the thing that totally cracked me up was the tiny dishwasher. It fits so few dishes that you could hand wash them in a flash and save a ton of counter space.
True, although I can definitely see the point of it for people who can’t stand long enough to wash dishes, or don’t have both hands available to use (eg, amputees, someone recovering from a broken arm, someone with carpel tunnel or arthritis.) You can load up the dishwasher much more quickly and with one hand. I don’t have the data on this one in particular, but it’s also often more water efficient to use a dishwasher than to wash by hand.
I’ve been waiting for this video! I love your Top Ten lists. It’s nice to see that the corkscrew made your list (definitely a legacy of the original Screwpull that’s now over 30 years old-former wine merchant here). Last year I got Hubby the Allet wallet from your top ten for his birthday and as much as he likes to say he didn’t need a new wallet, he actually loves it. Seeing this year’s list has me considering more gifts (sees hoodie, looks at adult son 🤔). That honorable mention reading light might be handy for our nephew who’s a college freshman. I missed the countertop dishwasher review video, but I could see someone who lives in an apartment with no dishwasher liking that one. Definitely large enough to do one person’s dishes and it really worked well. I’ve also been eyeing that Stupid Car Tray since I saw it on Facebook and in RUclips ads. Once we buy a car again, I’ll definitely get one. Great list! Off to coordinate the top tens with people’s wish lists.
New to your channel. Came up in my recommended. Love that you rep the Vegas knights in many of your vids. We are a big hockey family here and although we are primarily Islanders fan’s we love many other teams. My son loves the Vegas knights Jersey.

We bought the Cirkul water bottle after watching your original review and it has been GREAT ! We have been on the auto delivery subscription since the 2nd month we had it and have recommended it to a few others who are now hooked. We never drank enough water mainly because it was boring, but with this its great! You can swap flavors anytime and they really do taste so good. I love the classic coffee and I am drinking the lemon iced tea right now. Thank you for your great reviews and recommendations. Keep up the great work and wish you and your family a great safe, happy and healthy holiday and new year.
Does the refill concept not seem very wasteful? Like you have to change out so much plastic, after 6 uses or so, instead of just refilling the flavour.
@@elementalist1984 We have been using it for a while and its been great. We drink a lot of water but sometimes need something else. They have enough flavors to satisfy whatever mood you're in. They always run deals, I think now its like $15 for the bottle, top and 3 or 4 flavors. I would definitely recommend trying it.
So does it have a sweetener in it?? I hate the taste of fake sugars 😔 I NEED badly to drink more water. I’m horrible at it 🤣🤦🏼♀️. I was hoping this would be helpful also I drink a lot of coffee
The "Stupid Car Tray" (love the name!!) would be great for delivery drivers. Being one, I HATE transporting drinks. Sketchy. But that velcro strap seems pretty damn useful. Too bad the shipping cost to Canada is more than the actual product. Always look forward to your videos bro, been watching for (I think) 2 years now! Here's to many more 😁
I’ve been eyeing that too. We don’t have a car right now, but I think we’ll be getting one again in the next year. I hate bringing home food when I have a drink tray (when I’m in one of the car sharing vehicles we use) and no passenger to hold it.
6 Speed - contact the company, maybe send them a picture of you with order in the car, tell them you watch this video, and tell them you want to purchase it but the shipping is too high due to being in Canada. You might luck out.

I got the neck light too. It's very helpful when I want to do handwork from my recliner while watching TV with Hubby.
I got the neck light also and use it almost exclusively for crocheting and other crafts! I laughed out loud recently when I was at a local garage getting some work done on my car when I saw my mechanic using one of these neck lights while working on my car!
Glad the neck light got a mention.. I use it all the time. Very useful. Thanks for all your reviews!
Thanks !! 👵🏽✌
I bought the neck light based on your review. I love it. After taking it to a craft weekend, several folks bought one for themselves.
The end of year recap always throws me becuase I remember watching all these videos when they came out
Hey James! Question about the hoodie/backpack -- what do you do with the stuff you loaded up in the backpack if you get cold???? 🤣🤣🤣 Love your reviews!
I assume if it's cold you bring yourself a cotton material sweater because that kinda jacket isn't made for cold cold weather.
Best use is for using it to hold your kid's jackets or for holding your chargers etc when flying.
Buy 2 😁
You give so much to your channel you can tell you take your time really reviewing items and getting great footage. Thanks for being so wonderful!
Didn’t realize I needed a Stir Crazy until I watched the video. I bought one and never regretted it.
Great video! Does anybody know which brand on the neck light? I see too many options on Amazon, and they all look so similar. Thx 😊
The countertop dishwasher is so cute, perfect for a small apartment or a bachelor pad. Looks like it works better than my full sized one
The StirCrazy was around back in the 60s. We had one when I was growing up. It disappeared for some time and I guess they've brought it back.
The hoodie backpack thing would be good for hiking, natural walks and visits to the grand Canyon
Got the ninja never stick this year as well(after your review) and I love it! Got the whole set! Love the end of year countdowns!
🧐 That number 1 pick looks like a really good zombie weapon 😍
Honestly electric grills are amazing. I really recommend them for college students, not just because you can't use actual grills in small spaces but because you can cook so many things with it in an easy way, it really helps to keep a better diet than just eating instant food
I actually _found_ my George Foreman at college. Out in the snow...
Good cleaning and it works fine. Some damage to the non-stick surface, but hey, it was free!
I love my Little George Foreman Grill. It is perfect for this old woman 👵 ✌🕊🤗
That reading light gadget would be great for walking at night and camping
I had one of these 20 years ago. I used it at work. Works great
This video just made me go out and buy the Cirkul water bottle and about 8 different flavors.
The perfect holiday gift guide
Omg! We had one of those stir crazy pop corn makers when I was a kid back in the 80's. So I know that DEFINITELY works & obvi lasts long!
I did purchase the ninja pans after your review and I can say they are great, thanks James
Have you tried Bar Keepers to remove the silicone on the handle? It takes everything off metal.
The Zeroll looks exactly like the scoops we used when I worked at Braum's 16 years ago.
Thanks James, I continually get pleasure from your reviews. Whenever we tend to see a TV industrial for one thing you have got reviewed
I’d buy that dishwasher just to sit there and watch it work. It’s very calming. 🤪
When I was a kid in the 70's&80's my grandmother had a popcorn maker just like that one.
That countertop dishwasher is great for camping in a box truck or van.
Yes, I actually bought that pan a couple of months ago because of your review. It’s the best pan I’ve ever used and I don’t think I need any other one lol
Love the graphics. Nice work. 👍
Thank you for the gift guide James!
Plus, they're just relaxing to watch :)
@barcham We agree.
These are great! Now have to buy the pan!!
I bought the hoodie based on your original review and love it. Took it to Vegas and put it to work
When you're reviewing ice cream scoopers could you find a sugar free version to review as well because they tend to be a lot harder so it's really difficult to find an ice cream scoop that will actually work for the sugar-free one
I like the way you talk internet man.
Great,great channel
I enjoy every review and appreciate your time spend to show us.
James is beside himself with astonishment over that hoodie backpack. ✌️
I bought the neck light for myself and for a gift. I love it!
New to your channel. Came up in my recommended. Love that you rep the Vegas knights in many of your vids. We are a big hockey family here and although we are primarily Islanders fan’s we love many other teams. My son loves the Vegas knights Jersey.
My 1st Stir Crazy had a dome shaped yellow top and I'd put butter pats on the holes and let it melt through, oh delicious 👌 Happy Thanksgiving James!
I grew up with that yellow one. Was the best popcorn maker for sure!! Stir Crazy is a win!
Love your reviews!! just bought the water bottle thingie!
Feels so good to know what will last u n what's the best quality you'll need to replace rare amount of times in ur life. I love the minimalism too. Definitely coming back to this video when I have my own new home from being at the parents 😂
As someone who hates drinking water, I might have to look into this. For me water has a bad taste
@@cassielangham3730 theres unsweetened options.
I bought the Canadian version of the Ninja non-stick frying pan. It is amazing, thank you for the recommendation.
What do you think of the Always pan, I have thought about buying family one for Christmas
A new video wooo love the channel James
@@alwaysthinking9713 your username is quite fitting LOL, thanks for the idea! I just might do that - worth a shot as it never hurts to try!
@@xRhino95x 😂yep- thank you! Yes give it a try! I wish it to come through for you.☺🙋 Enjoy your day.
@DianeNC going to have to look into that, thanks for the tip! A little more on the affordable side of things at that price lol
