I bought a Noco GBX155 after watching your video and couldn't be happier with my purchase. My car has a rotary engine which takes a lot of force to turn over, and the Noco works just as PF said it would. No wonder its on this year's top 10 list!
I’d really love some oil testing on motorcycle oils. Right now I’m using Motul 7100 10W-40, but for an engine that revs to ~15000 RPM, I’m curious if a slight increase in lubricity would make a big difference.
It was last year, but you recommended the Sylvania headlight restoration kit. It made the headlights on my 2012 Honda Ridgeline (always parked outdoors) look like new. It's been almost a year now and they still look great! I need to try that Permatex windshield kit next. :D Thank you!
I was curious to see if you would do a video about the best are or hatchet sharpener. That or the best way to keep an edge. I live in a barn/house. It is basically a metal building with 3 bedrooms. The living area has a heat pump. The garage part is 40'x50' with 16' to trusses. I was given an old woodchief fireplace insert. I live in western NC. I was heating the garage area with 2 torpedo heaters in the winter months. The ceiling of my garage area has no insulation as of yet. I was using $30-$40 a day to heat the garage to 55 degrees Fahrenheit. I decided to install the insert that I was given. I put it on some blocks and ran the exhaust. I have no problem getting red oak to burn for free. I find myself always breaking pieces of wood with my hatchet for various reasons. I seem to have to sharpen my hatchet way to much. I am now in my second year of wood burning so I have learned how to use a file to sharpen my hatchet. I am no pro at it yet but I can get the hatchet sharp. It just doesn't seem to stay that way for long. I always use a round piece of log to hold the wood while breaking it with the hatchet. I am very interested in either learning how to sharpen my hatchet better or using a tool to sharpen it. I have bought a couple sharpeners but I don't like them very much and they are painfully slow at sharpening. Sorry for the long comment and thanks!!
It was great to see this recap of the year's best products. I had forgotten about some of the older ones like the kinetic energy ropes. I enjoy all of your comparison videos even if they are products I'm not likely to purchase. Your tests are objective and relevant and the mechanisms you build to perform those tests are ingenious. We can only hope that your style of testing with its creativity and rigor becomes more mainstream so that consumers are better informed about their purchases and manufacturers are forced to compete on performance instead of just marketing.
This goes in my saved folder for future reference! Subject idea: Since we're headed into winter, it would be great to see a leather waterproofing test for gloves and boots. I've tried some great products and some not so great, and some work great on, say, boots, but waxy, dull, sticky gloves not so much, or boots you do work in vs the boots you want to look decent in public in.
I've seen a few of your videos for testing various products, and I just wanted to comment that you (Project Farm) have one of the very best product/research/testing & shopping channels I've seen. The time, effort and extent of your research for meting out good vs junk products is commendable, Thank you!
A good long term test for the Jumpstarters (and probably some other items) would be how they perform after long term storage in hot/cold weather. I carry mine in the trunk of my car and the pannier on my bike, I'm a but worried about longevity, and how long they keep a charge.
I love this channel! No annoying music, and no pestering visual distractions to endure. Honest testing results because no sponsors are accepted. My kind of channel. I've watched just about all the videos and want more. A segment I'd like to see is which least expensive E-Bike is best. Also which least expensive E-Tricycle is best. Also least expensive stand on E -Scooter is best.
I love the environmentally friendly battery. Should make some Project Farm Enviromentally Friendly Battery stickers for chunks of wood like Chris Fix makes 'Soapy Wooder' bottle stickers.
I know this is an older video but man I want to tell you that I just found this and love your channel and everything that you're doing. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into finding out what tools are the best for us to use, fantastic work!
Brings back all the memories of this year and all the fun tests, thank you for your hard work and dedication to the stats, its always neat to see how tools can hold up to the torture tests and see the real strength of what your trusting to work every time you need it to! Also, my only vid idea I could think of would be; have you ever thought about testing those air bag jacks out? Like those ones made by VEVOR? I've seen them before, but I've always wondered how they would hold up to like a normal floor jack, and if they have any better advantages than one too. Anyways, thanks again for all the cool videos this year, I can't wait to see what next year holds for fun tests! Take care and be safe out there! P.S. My Gooloo gp4000 has still been kicking strong since last year when I got it, It cranks everything from my RV to my lawn mower, and I use it about once a week! Gotta love that thing, it just keeps on going!
out door fire season ,would be cool to see a video on the best fire pit .best smoke dissipation and heat dissipation and durability .best value store bought vs homemade
I am continually gobsmacked at all the genius testing equipment you use. The time and expense you employ is beyond measure. Thank you so much for all your efforts. MUCH RESPECT!
I enjoy these test comparisons a lot. When you look at the results overall, what your tests indicate is that the most expensive item is usually the best. That's a good thing - it means the manufacturers are providing value. For my own best tool of the decade I vote for the Nitecore TUBE keychain flashlight - I own a bunch of these and they are a real lifesaver - usb rechargeable, very small, durable, good amount of light, cost about $10, and I always have a flashlight with me !!
Another year of GREAT videos, you do an amazing job on these and deserve to be commended. I join many others in saying we are looking forward to another year of comparisons!!!
I hope you realize how much you do for us blue collar guys. Your unbiased tests have influenced my purchases at least a few times. That means I'm doing better/faster/etc work while not having to run through a bunch of crap beforehand. You help us work better while also helping us watch our budget. Happy holidays, brother. Looking forward to the next one.
Because of your hard work and continued dedication to excellent product testing. We’re all better equipped now to do the exhaustive blue collar work, that drives America. Additionally, manufactures are also rewarded by the success of their award winning products based on your thorough testing, and I have no problem at paying more for tools and equipment thats has a greater long term value. And you my friend are the common denominator. Said differently, You’re the tide that raises all boats. ThankYou!!!
If everything was graded on stars, I'd have to give you a 5 star! I appreciate all the hard work you've put in for us rhis year. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
I saw another channel a few months back where the guy was doing reviews as well. He spoke very much like you do during your videos and I called him out on it. He was humble enough to admit he liked your channel and watched you a lot as well. I guess there's no better sign of how good you are and how far you've come than when you become the one the others immitate. It's been a pleasure watching your videos over the years and I'm looking forward to continue watching more in the years to come. Thank you..
Although I have almost no need for any of the product knowledge provided on your channel, I watch out of appreciation for the quality work you do. Very impressive!
Worked on towboats for a long time, and our main face wires for facing up to barges was 5/8 or 3/4 wire ropes, and facing up on empty barges was a pain being 12 feet up and trying to hold 200 pounds of wire and drop them on a button lol When they switched to the kevlar plasma line at like 5 pounds,it changed our whole life lol
I bought the Milwaukee inflator for my dad for christmas. He always brings his 18v impact with him in case of road-side repairs anyway, it's another great tool!
just received my Milwaukee 2848-20 the other day, came with (2) 5.0 batteries and another charger through home depot for $200. love to see it is as good as expected!
After going over many videos of yours for powertools, I ended up buying into the Milwaukee ecosystem (even tho no store locally sells them) as your testing showed consistently that, while more costly, they money doesnt go to waste. Including this tire inflator. It is very quick, and the memory sets are very handy. (I just hope the hose holds up). Thank you.
I got the same Noco jump charger you tested, I’ve owned it for a few years now and it’s never failed me when I needed it. One thing I’ll mention, is there’s a charging cable you can buy separately that I believe is rated 10 amps? Anyway it charges the Norco a lot faster than the charging cable that comes with the Norco . It’s worth the cost of the heavy duty charging cable that plugs into your Norco and any 110 volt plug in. I try to check and charge my Norco around every 6 months or after anytime I have to use it where it drawing very much power. Long as you keep it fully charged, it won’t let you down even on engines that take more power to turn over
PF, I've been following you for a few years and have bought all of my tools based off of your testing. None so far have been incorrect, or disappointing. I remember when the "Good Housekeeping" Seal of approval was the mark of quality, Then Consumer Reports became the "unbiased" tester, but you had to pay to get any kind of data. You do better than both combined without fees, or marketing or endless bullshit. Bravo

Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks!
Pretty much a 1:1 for things that I'd like in my garage! Thanks for the list. Project Farm is the best RUclips channel for stuff guys need!
Wow, thank you!
This is the best video. A great channel!!
Thanks and you are welcome!
I don’t know what I would do without this channel! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for sharing. Thanks for the suggestion.
I like this idea
I've used everything from Sno Proof to Bear Grease and Mink Oil to Ballistol. Sno-Proof seemed best.
I've learned so much from this channel about taking care of my own repairs. Saved so much money. Thank you for your videos.
I've seen a few of your videos for testing various products, and I just wanted to comment that you (Project Farm) have one of the very best product/research/testing & shopping channels I've seen. The time, effort and extent of your research for meting out good vs junk products is commendable, Thank you!
Thanks so much!
A good long term test for the Jumpstarters (and probably some other items) would be how they perform after long term storage in hot/cold weather. I carry mine in the trunk of my car and the pannier on my bike, I'm a but worried about longevity, and how long they keep a charge.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks! Thanks for the suggestions.
I love the environmentally friendly battery. Should make some Project Farm Enviromentally Friendly Battery stickers for chunks of wood like Chris Fix makes 'Soapy Wooder' bottle stickers.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I have only seen the first few seconds but I already like the video. Thank you for doing so many great tests!!🤗
Thank you very much!
You are welcome! Thanks for sharing.
Great wrap up. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
What tool are you using to measure the temperatures at 19:50?
Love the Top-10 summary videos. Thanks, Todd, for all your hard work.
Thanks and you are welcome!
out door fire season ,would be cool to see a video on the best fire pit .best smoke dissipation and heat dissipation and durability .best value store bought vs homemade
Thank you for the video idea!
And maybe fire extinguishers too!
@@xRepoUKx good idea ! Haha
Need a video on upf clothing, best workskin shirts best neck gaiters etc
Thank you for the video idea!
You should test the best products/attachments for an attachment ready string trimmer.
Thank you for the video idea!
I am continually gobsmacked at all the genius testing equipment you use. The time and expense you employ is beyond measure. Thank you so much for all your efforts. MUCH RESPECT!
Thanks and you are welcome!
Thanks! Glad to hear!
I absolutely love this channel. You've taught me so much over the years!
Thanks! Great to hear!
Another year of GREAT videos, you do an amazing job on these and deserve to be commended. I join many others in saying we are looking forward to another year of comparisons!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you for all your hard work!
My pleasure!
Thanks! Happy Holidays!
"My property has a lot of hardwood trees" so nonchalant, that was hilarious 😂
Thank you!
Thanks for your videos, PF. The hours you put into them are definitely appreciated.@@ProjectFarm
ThankYou!!!
Thanks and you are welcome
Fantastic as always! Every time I see cousin Eddie and the Farmabago being used and abused, I can't stop laughing. Thanks for all you do!
You are welcome!
I think Cousin Eddie needs his own channel!
If everything was graded on stars, I'd have to give you a 5 star! I appreciate all the hard work you've put in for us rhis year. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Thanks so much! Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you..
Thanks and you are welcome!
You did staplers. Can you do brad nailers?
Thank you for the video idea!
If you could test out different air purifiers that would be awesome! Thank you for all that you do!

Hi, just want to know when using the All American blade sharper, which Angle Grinder do you recommend to use with it please ?

A comparison of 0W-20 motor oils would be a wonderful idea.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Have you done testing on Diesel oils in the past? I can't remember
Thanks for all you do. I bought the Milwaukee tire inflater after watching your test. I love it.

Soldering iron video,battery or electricity😎👍
Thank you for the video idea!
Yeah, definitely would be interested in this video
Product of the year? AT-205. Mechanics and dealerships don’t want the public to know.
Great point! I've avoided replacing parts with minor leaks. It's saved me a lot of time and money!
I'm pretty new to tools, your tests were very helful for me! THANKS!
You are welcome! Glad they are helpful!

Holzfforma 388 is a good saw 20 inch bar... been cutting with it every day for 3 months no issues
Thanks for the feedback.

You are amazing the websites amazing. I think you are a god sent person. Very nice to have someone honest, I congratulate you!!

I bought the Milwaukee inflator for my dad for christmas. He always brings his 18v impact with him in case of road-side repairs anyway, it's another great tool!
Thanks for sharing.
just received my Milwaukee 2848-20 the other day, came with (2) 5.0 batteries and another charger through home depot for $200. love to see it is as good as expected!
Thanks for the suggestion.
YES! For the Honda Generator and Milwaukee Tire Inflator. I own both of these products and haven't had a single problem. Both are solid tools!
Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you.

You are always my Go To Guy before a purchase! You are objective and scientific without hyperbole. Your're great! Thanks for all your effort.
Thanks and you are welcome!

I bought my first Stihl chainsaw back in 1991. I still have it and it starts by the second crank and runs like a champ.
Thanks for sharing.
Bravo
Thanks!
Thank you. All you do for us viewers, it means mountains!
You are welcome!
You should do a video on a good indoor home heater! Getting cold now.
Thanks for the suggestion.
They're all the same.
Dont always have the time to watch but when I do you are always one of the videos I will watch. Thanks for what you do.

I think it'd be cool to see if those outdoor faucet covers really work. I question if they make a difference on an insulated house.
Was looking for a review of that Milwaukee just like that! Thank you! Definitely subscribed!

How about a review on shaving Razors.. then we could test shaving cream lubricity also!😃
