    Thanks for a very informative video.
    Do you think these would be ok comfort-wise for 8hrs a day in the office (with only little walking)?
    I know i'd be more comfortable with touring boots but i would like the extra protection and the looks.

    Great video! If possible can you review the SMX 6 V2 Gore text boots. I am wondering how it compares to this boot. I like the sleek look of this boot but I understand thatg Dainese fits more snug on feet or the sizes are not true to size. But, if you review the SMX 6 V 2 gore text I am wondering about both comfort and safety and how it might compare to the Dainese's Sport Master Gore-tex. Thanks

      I will add these to my list of gear to review! I don't have wide feet so I luckily don't run into narrow boots being an issue and it seems that sizing can be tricky at times even with the same manufacturer and different boots or even updated versions. With return policies pretty good these days I tend to order more than one size and return the one that doesn't work especially since I don't have a brick and mortar location near me to try on in person before purchasing. Thanks for the comment, good luck and be safe!

    nice vídeo! thanks for the information! do you recomend for a track day!? i like the axial style (inside the leathers) but they are very expensive! and theres no more availabe the torque d1 in model!! so im thinking to buy this ones just for 1 or 2 track day per year!!
    thanks alote

      You could definitely get by with these for track days! Now, if you are a hardcore racer then I might suggest moving up a bit. Best of luck, be safe!

    Very nice review! I l almost bought these boots to complete my dainese super speed 3 suit but... its only LEVEL 1 CE certifictation, and for me it's not enough. Safety first, do you have any other suggestions with CE lvl 2 from Dainese? Cheers

      Nothing that I can say that I have used first hand. I have a couple of level 2 boots on the list for review for be looking for those. If there is a particular model you are looking at let me know? Thanks and be safe!

      @@cyclegearguide1493 Do you ever give Dainese feedback? Numerous Alpinestars boots are CE level 2 for transverse rigidity, abrasion and impact cut resistance. But Dainese only offers level 1 protection ☹️

    • @cyclegearguide1493
      @cyclegearguide1493  Год назад +1

      I have not given feedback but it is a great idea to do so. My friend actually went down recently in his Alpinestars and his broken leg would have been much worse had it not been for his boots. I'm going to do a review on his boots in the near future so stayed tuned. Thanks for the comment, be safe!

      @@cyclegearguide1493 I hope you give your local Dainese representative the feedback that they’re losing some sales because of the Level 1 CE rating. Boots must be Level 2 at this price.
      Also, I hope your friend heals quickly.

    Great review! How do you think these boots compare to Alpinestars SMX V2 or V2 Plus? Also, I wear a size 9 in US sizing. How true to size are these boots. I think Dainese boots run small and narrow. Your thoughts? And walking around what was it like? Are these everyday kind of boots for street riders? Thanks

    • @cyclegearguide1493
      @cyclegearguide1493  2 года назад +1

      Compared to the SMX V2 I can’t say yet, they are on my list of boys to review. I have worn the V1s for almost a year now and the fit is obviously different but both are still good. After my ride with the sport masters yesterday I was walking around with them and actually was surprised at how after about just a month of riding with them they are pretty comfortable off the bike as well as on. Don’t plan a day hike with them but definitely suitable for walking around in. As for size I wear 8 1/2 and I ordered according to the size chart and they fit fine. I don’t have wide feet so the narrow boots aren’t a problem I run into. If you have wide get it might be a bit snug. Look for the V2 review in a bit, thanks for reaching out and best of luck!

    For the Axial system, did you find it adequate for protecting your ankle from over extension? Looks like there’s a fair amount of lateral flex in the boot.
    And did you notice any squeaking from the boots?

    • @cyclegearguide1493
      @cyclegearguide1493  Год назад +1

      I feel like there is plenty of support and protection in the ankle and and I have had no squeaking at all. However, I am going to start wearing a taller boot after my friend had a crash recently. The tall boots really saved him from a lot of issues that he would have had if wearing a shorter boot. That's just my opinion though. Best of luck and be safe!
