    What sport-touring kit can I pair with the axial’s suit to boot function? Great review btw!

      The best choice designed with a suit to boot system in mind would be the Dainese Sport Master GTX Jacket and pants set with their sporty design and Gore-Tex waterproofing.

    Great Review! Even with the plastic slider, can these boots still be used on the track?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 года назад +3

      The Axial GTX boots can still be used for cornering with their TPU slider, though it is important to keep in mind that this will wear out faster than magnesium or titanium. However, it is always possible to replace the slider on the boot, or to switch it to one of Dainese's other aforementioned slider materials.
      Thanks for the question!

    Great video. How do the axial gtx compare to the sport master gtx boots?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 года назад +2

      The main difference between the two boots is that the Axial GTX will be coming as Dainese's top level sport-touring in boot while the Sport Master GTX will be more mid-segment. Both still come with Dainese's Axial Distortion Control System (DCS) as well as a suit to boot system. The main difference is that the Axial GTX DCS is made of carbon and aramid fiber for lighter weight and greater strength.

    Good review. Are the plates on the toes changable?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 года назад +1

      Yes, the sliders on the toes are replaceable, and Dainese have even included a setscrew wrench for taking care of the screws with the boots in the box.
      Thanks for the question!

    Hello, do these boots use the same sole, or is it more flexi than the D1 race boot, cheers

    Which is more safe between the two?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 года назад +1

      Both the Dainese Axial GTX and Axial D1 will ultimately come with about the same level of safety with their Axial system in carbon and aramid fiber, metal inserts, and microfiber construction. The main difference between the two boots as far as abrasion resistance will be the toe slider material. So, if you are planning to mainly use the boot for racing, the Axial D1 with the magnesium slider would be a better option while the TPU slider on the GTX would wear much quicker.
      Thanks for the question!
      What are your thoughts on the Dainese boots?

    Great review thank you. How does the Dainese axial system work?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  4 года назад +1

      The Axial system covers your foot from the shin down to the ankle. There is a flexible brace running along these two points that will then work to reduce impact forces and twisting of the ankle in a spill.
      Thanks for the question!
