I think it should be ok. I just read a whole bunch of posts on various FB groups that couriers were charging taxes. The Netherlands retailer used Royal mail as their UK partners so not sure. I also checked gov.uk web site also who said no levies should be applied
Hi mate, thanks for the video. Im looking at buying a pair and seen the new Gortex ones. Have you been in any wet conditions with these ? Wondering if feet would get wet..
Hi Steve, they look spot on. I'm still awaiting house completion. Looks like I might just miss out on an ex demo deal. I'm still toying R or GT I'm sure I heard you say you took both out for a test ride, why did you go GT.
I felt the GT was 95% of the SDR ride experience but 110% more versatility to thrash on a Sunday, tour for 2 weeks in Europe but still give you tones of smiles. I think of it as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Dont forget the 23 litres of fuel and comfort levels. Apparently my bike does 165 mph so not slow either
I'm working from the Leeds depot last couple of weeks, my mate delivered my blade back 1st thing Monday. So I clad myself up Monday night and nipped over the pennines. Mistake it was -1'c at 05.00 Tuesday morning foggy and slight drizzle. I decided then GT creature comforts but then I see at R and go Arrrh. I suppose I'll take em both out and decide for myself. I've toured a couple of times went to Spain solo on a Z1000sx 2017 and in 19 I had a Victory down to the sth of France. But for most of the time it'll be Rochdale to Eccles, normally if I smell rain I'll go in the van. So it's probably 1 commute n a Sunday couple times a month. No completion date but I've been informed it will be before April. I was on KD's website earlier, they are almost cleaned out I was talking to a guy at laguna in Maidstone he had a few GT's pre reg 0 Miles but things move quicker than my solicitor's. I don't want finance debt free. I like the boots 👢 though I'll have a pair plus I will probably get new leathers cos I've dropped 2.5 stone since this time last year. Levelled out now at 95kg plus a new lid. I've just had delivered sena comms unit not even set them up yet. I'm sat in Leyland waiting return trailer, Leeds doesn't open until 04.00
@@vincentbrooks1485 I know the feeling over bike choice from when I went from sport bikes the super naked. I had the MT10 and S1000r then the GT. Was not sure at the time that GT was right but more than happy now. I do over 6000 miles a year pre/post covid so really pleased with my decision. I've just ordered the track pack which gets fitted in 2 weeks time 🙃 😅
I usually have a 44 shoe and was concerned they woukd be to big but they are perfect and I love wearing them. So comfortable and light. You will be very happy
Steve, you said no import duty or taxes from the Netherlands, do you know if it would be the same from FC Moto in Germany ?. Thanks.

Travelled in rain and snow and no leaks. You don't need gortex as far as I'm concerned unless you daily commute
@@stevesherlockrides cheers mate, you've just saved me well over £100

Ive been looking at these on the Dianese website, thanks for justifying my instinct. 10 hours? anywhere interesting?
Yep heading in Wales (Shrewsbury, Welshpool and nr Aberystwyth). BTW I got the boots for £200 off RRP on eBay - a steal at that price also
Crackimg bit of kit . Hope they give a bit for you 🙏
I'm sure they will. My bro has a pair for a year now and swears by them
How’s the sizing? I’m looking at these right now, I’m a 13 is with Nike sneakers
I think they follow the same size shoes/trainers I generally wear so no need to adjust
Hi Steve, did you get them from Chrome burner on eBay ?

@@stevesherlockrides seen them myself on there didn’t know if they was to good to be true at that price, best get ordering 👍
