How do the professionals fit PPF to motorbikes?
Thank you to Invisible Patterns for giving me a behind the scenes insight into the process of fitting PPF to a motorbike. Mike, Craig and Tony were so generous with their time.

This video will only help Multistrada V4 owners who are looking to replace the locks on their luggage & panniers. I hope it helps as I found the instructions very poor in the manual and very little on RUclips. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.

After riding the new 2025 Ducati Panigale V4S for a few days I have really got to know if this bike is as good on the road as it is on track. Watch and decide for yourself. Thanks agin to@ducatipreston9369 for the loan.

300 mile Birthday ride out- "Planes, Ferries & Motorbikes'

Had an amazing ride today with my pal John. We did Kirkstone Pass, Hartside Pass, Cumbria, Northumberland and North Yorkshire. We rode through really wet and greasy roads after the storms on my Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak, and John on his KTM 1290 Super adventure S. We went on a ferry, got buzzed by a Hercules RAF plane and rode some absolutely amazing twisty roads. I hope you enjoy the video...

It's that time of year when I winterise my bike and as this is the first time I've done this for my Multistrada Pikes Peak V4 I've done a short video. I can highly recommend the XCF product.

How comfortable is the seating position? I'm looking to buy a 1000cc Sport Bike, however I would prefer one that's more comfortable vs less comfortable.
I'm 6ft 1 inch and TBH the S1000RR was more comfortable
How is the heat generated from the bike riding in the city compared to the 2024 panigali .
I didn't think it was to bad but prolonged idling you did feel it
I heard that the machine on this bike is often overheated around the legs. Is that true?
I genuinely didn't feel it. However i own a Multistrada Pikes Peak V4 with the same engine and when stood still idling you do feel the warmth but it's not intense.
@stevesherlockrides I see. Many thanks.
If you think the brakes are "not great" try a Ho nda NC750X with a single disc, the Yam is so much better. All bikes with a chain need centre stands for chain maintenance, especially when on tour.
The moment you said your 59 years young I smashed that like button! Never too old to ride a machine like a Ducati! Cheers from Vegas! Great review!
That's made me 😃. Never to late mate !! Thanks for the like for the old boys with young hearts and minds
They did my GT and SAS. Highly recommended
Good luck with it. Just got one myself and not dared to take it out of the box yet.
The heart rate does increase a little
Nice, well done 👍🏼
Cheers bud
A very good first flight
To kind lol
That is rock solid in the wind, I'm impressed with how things have moved on from my mavic.
It's so light also and was really getting blown about in the gusts. Stabilisation software is impressive
Hi Steve! Wow, these shots are breathtaking! 🌄✨ DJI Mini 3 Pro truly shows its power - I love this drone! Flying it is also my passion, and it brings me so much joy. 🚁🎥 Congratulation :)
Thanks, I was so impressed with the quality of the footage even though the flight wasn't to spectacular. Looking forward to taking it on my many bike trips
Buddy good vid i heard you say you had some kind off tracker on your bike that was stolen sorry to hear that but which tracker
I've never had a bike stolen with a tracker since I've installed the Biketrack product my insurance is lower and I have total comfort re steal risk
A dealer near me has a 2017 GT with 3800 miles on it, bags, ROTTWEILER PAIR BLOCK OFF PLATES, ROTTWEILER FUELING DONGLES, ROTTWEILER THROTLE BODY VACUUM HOSES, ROTTWEILER EXHAUST SERVO DONGLE, GARMIN ZUMO GPS AND MOUNT, POWER BRONZE SPORT WINDSCREEN, MRA WINDSCREEN WITH SPOILER PANNIERS, and looks to have new GPR300 tires for $10,300 USD. Seems like a good deal. Once I sell my 23 MT09SP this week, I may go test ride it. I had a 14 SDR for a few months earlier this year and sold it to make money. That was the most comfortable riding position and suspension I've ridden in a long time. It just didn't have cruise or a quickshifter and really didn't like to turn quick enough when riding at a "fast" pace.
Is the 2017 a Gen 1 or Gen 2?
Still a gen 1 gt
My brother has the Gen 1 still and when he ride my Gen 2 he did say the suspension feels more plush on the Gen 2, other than that he loves the Gen 1.
@@stevesherlockrides I keep reading that KTM offers an electronic suspension software upgrade that updates them to the most current settings.
I've heard same also
Make video about MULTISTRADA so you can CONTINUE TALKING ABOUT IT. I GOT IT...NINJA IS NOT MULTISTRADA. MULTISTRADA IS A CRAP!!!!!
Check out my other videos as got the Multistrada V4S but have now upgraded to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. Thanks for the comment
10 min would have been much better.
I got carried away sorry 😞
You can remove the barrel in the same manner as you remove BMW barrels - no need to disassemble the cases.
Don't think you can
fix your audio mate, cheers!
It's OK if on your phone. I can't seem to work out how to get stereo.
@@stevesherlockrides What brand of kit do you have?
@elliottbailey2522 I use iMovie with Cardo packtalk
@@elliottbailey2522 what items?
@ your mic or ear jacks… sometimes you can search the brand and model online for troubleshooting tips
When you come to the alps in the summer it’s always like this in the high biking season, Austria Swiss , Germany , Dolomite’s it’s all infested with speed cameras, basically towns villages you just have to behave otherwise it’s going to repeat over and over again, to be fair I ride there very often cos I live in Bawaria , and I understand the locals cos the amount of motorcycles goes through these passes it’s insane in the high season Basically it’s much better to come mid June or mid September 🙌🏻👊🏻😁
Off to Montenegro and Croatia, dolomites etc next year, can't wait
You have been to my playground 🫶
Where about?
Those ugly wings are laughable, imaging putting down force on a motorcycle wheel during an extreme lean at 100+ mph, who needs slippery oil or gravel to cause a wipeout, now it is built into the fairing.
not sure it's generation 7, it's 18-19, 20-21, 22-24, 25+, so more like 4th gen V4.
No it is G7
Is it waterproof with heavy Rain
You know what I am really happy with it. The only issue is that the pockets are double pockets (1 zipped and 1 waterproof zipped) on each side. So a little wet can get in the non waterproof one.
The bike is for track end of story it's a pointless review tbh. Get it on the track
Interesting thought?
@@stevesherlockrides no disrespect to you mate just sick of these road reviews. It's a track bike end of the day and that's where it belongs.
then maybe stop wasting your time watching these? loads of track videos of it out there LOL.
TFT screen explaination if possible
The bike has gone back but am at the dealership regularly so will do soon for you
@ thanks for it. I am really excited for it. I also want to confirm that the heated grips option which used to come in previous panigale is it removed now? Because I can’t see it in accessories list in the Ducati configurator.
@soumyaprakashsahoo4120 no heated grips as standard
@ I think as an accessory also you can’t have right in this model. As they completely removed the button for that.
@@soumyaprakashsahoo4120 cruise control and heated grips are an optional extra.
Can't believe you got to borrow that for few days ,and can't believe your just up the a59 from me 😂 looked slippy out there
Where are you Barry? Let's meet up
In maghull, yeah how you pm on here ? @@stevesherlockrides
Yeah how do you pm ? I'm in maghull
What's your FB name and I'll reach out
Not on FB can get me on mail of the Google type , just my name first no numbers
Your actually the worst person to do a review seen u never rode a Ducati v 4 s before 😂
Rode the last version and like you set off an hips hurt, neck hurt etc etc nearly turned around and took it back! But was a cracking bike was settled on it, however took the previous street fighter V4 out and found that more comfortable for me and always said if I could have my perfect garage it would be a Multi and Street Fighter.
100% my choice also.
Watching from Australia - good and enjoyable review. Wish the audio had’ve been in both ears though - thanks
Yep I need to sort the audio sorry. Thanks fir watching the vid from Australia. My step daughter lives in Brisbane
The real question us Old Panigale owners have…. How hot is the seat?
True 😂😂😂, mine cooked well
Also, the bike does not have 73 sensors - DVO simulates over 70 sensors.
Wet weight is without fuel.
Showa and Sachs? 😂
My bad sorry
Sounds like a tractor. How does it sounds in person? Is it good?
It doesn't sound great tbh when still but on the move it sounds great
How is the heat on the bike. Last one was, unbearable
You can feel it from the Reay cylinders yes but in this weather it was actually nice. Might be hot in summer though when static
For some reason your audio is messed up in my headphones. Left side only. I don't think it's my computer its the recording.
Thanks for letting me know
Those wings! Laughable
Hi Steve , who’s the chap with the Leo Vince link ? It’ll be good to contact him as I’m thinking of buying a leovince for my Pp
He doesn't have one, he was saying he replaced it with an Italian alternate one. Pm me and I'll give you hit details
@ thank you
Love the looks of the bike and the tech but these high performance bikes just like the car equivalents are now becoming irrelevant. The pursuit of higher power/speed whilst at the same time attaining these with the electronic aids allowing mere mortals like me the ability to not kill myself leaves me completely cold. Motorcycling for me is not this when you have so many parameters you can tweak.
I get you POV and respect that also. However as I've said many times, it's not anyone's position to say that what's not good for one person isn't good for another. Riding a bike so powerful for me doesn't fit but you have to accept that as a peice of machinery these hyper sports bikes are superb, and that alone for many people is part of the fun and experience.
But has it got a fuel gauge?
No it doesn't lol. As I say on the vid don't ask about mpg, just refill when the light comes on
Great so dont buy the bike and move on dude.
Then buy a 1098 or just turn off the electronics. Bikes have had more than enough power since mid 00s
Nice video! I saw you have the rear hugger as an extra. Do you like that? I have the Puig touringscreen and then I do not have to put this ugly winddeflector on my screen. Looks good and works perfect ruclips.net/video/kMCsj50FXFo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/fsC98u_HduQ/видео.html
Pleased to see they work Steve, I was debating on the original crash bars or evotech and you’ve just answered my questions if they work or not, sorry you had to test them for me 😂 cheers 👍
Too much clutch not enough throttle dohhh...
Nah just lack of concentration and being a numpty lol
Easily done. Made me laugh that after the spill you sang a little tune as if you wanted the world to swallow you up.
You saw that hey lol
Maybe stay off the 200bhp v4 😂😂
I have fitted a BHP Decat Link pipe with map to my 21 MS V4S. The build quality is excellent and sounds superb, but the map is the clever bit, the engine is smoother and pulls better at low rpm and absolutely flies at higher rpm. Highly recommended.
Yes heard good things about BHP. I have the full decat and akra system on my pikes peak. It has the ducati EVO map also and pushes out 180bhp. Sounds awesome
The first thing i bought for both bikes i have had was evotech protection. I'm a new rider so i thought thats a better investment than an exhuast or something like that :). Glad to see the stuff works!
It defo works well and you've chosen right.
Thank goodness no one noticed hahaha
I think I may have got away with it 🤔
Argh bugger!!! I feel your pain Steve😏
Im.still trying to smile 😃
We’ve all done it. Bravo for sharing and not locking that bit of film away! Safe riding
If I deleted the footage the lads wouldn't have let me live it down, they still may not lol
I think you dropped your KTM two if not three times 😮
Twice I think lol. I forgot them in the moment lol. I'm getting good at it now, all slow maneuvers thankfully.. Younwouldnt thinking and advanced rider would you
