Great video Nate. I've always wanted to learn this song. On a side note, and pls don't take this wrong. I'm a vocalist with a very wide range, (I can sing this in Roberta's key), I noticed that it appears you tend to tighten your throat as you reach for the note. I could be wrong as voice is internal and it's hard to see what's happening inside. The trick is to thin the voice the higher you go, (think yawning), so that the air travels into the head cavities easier. After that it's just practice until that muscle gets strong enough to give a consistent and true sound. Then you'll be able to sing it in Ms. Flack's key. You will have to slip in and out of falsetto but with the strengthened muscle it becomes easy and sounds good.
