I love you! I am 67 and have always wanted to play piano. I was first chair clarinet and saxophone growing up in the 60s and 70s, but we never had a piano. You make this so easy an understandable for me. I got a keyboard at a yard sale, and then bought a new keyboard after finding your lessons. But now wish I had bought a bigger one. Anyway, I love the arpeggio. I am pretty good with "Hallelujah", "Can't help falling in love with you", and "Unchained Melody." I love the Bee Gees, but really don't care about the Disco songs. Ha! I love "Secret Love" and "The 1st of May". Also, do you have music for, My Girl?" Seriously, you are my hero! Teri
You are so good. Thanks for another great tutorial. I never really thought much about this before, but when I saw this song as your tutorial, I thought it would be much more difficult than it is. You rock Nate 🧡👍👏!
I am an absolute bginner. My wife gifted me a piano a year ago. It was my childhood dream to play piano. I started with a Melody i really like: New Born from Muse. But it got tough pretty quick. My second try was Unchained Melody, but i found only another version, where i do a lot of the work with my left hand and it was tough. This version is way easier und you explained it in a very easy way. THANK YOU!
How beautiful &easy to follow & understand your instructions. I will try my very best to do it the way you explained it to the best of my ability. Hope am not too old to learn how to play piano without any mentor beside me except following your lessons. Thanks so much. By the way , am 80 yrs old.
Awesome! And I have seen many people in their 80's make good progress on piano. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the process, that's what its all about :)
I love play piano now that I found some pianist or organist like you i think i can play more better. You are great Thanks God Bless You and Your Family As Well
Thanks, I'm glad you enoyed it!! And yes...It is so much better to understand the underlying structure and then apply a pattern over it...a lot of people learn this kind of piano part as just a series of notes to memorize and I think that's a big mistake!
At last.........!!! I have wasted sooo much time on the 'traditional' methods.......and money. Thank you sooo much. I hope to sign up for your course soon. I have already sent links to your site to 2 others.

Hi! Thanks for the kind words! The best way to learn this is learn the notes in the chords which I demonstrate and list first, then learn the arpeggio pattern and map that onto the chords (rather than memorize it note by note).
