What questions do you have on the QuickJack?

Why do they scratch the floor? Some basic engineering - All of the balls are spherical hence they contact the floor as a point load and do not spread the load on the floor differently. Where they do differ by size is the ball to housing interface which is what gives them different load capacities. The balls are probably not rotating smoothly and the movement across the floor may well be a combination of the ball rotation and sliding of the ball across the surface (Hence the scratches). Only detailed investigation will prove what is happening.

Thank you for your insight! I'm really not sure why it's scratching. The balls move freely and the jacks don't weigh more than the balls can handle. I'd really like to epoxy my floor but wonder if it would still scratch. 🤔
