George one of the best hitters in history, an inspiration to many, especially for me who grew up watching him play, thank you Mr Brett for the memories and happy birthday.
Thanks to George Brett ,for making me a great stickball hitter back in the day. I even switched from my natural right handed stance to imitating his left handed batting stance . I even learned how to hit the half ball the opposite way
Boston kid, but George Brett was my favorite player of all time...loved those 80's Royals teams because they could beat the Yankees; Hal McRae, Willie Wilson, Frank White, Daryl Porter, Al Hrabowzki, Saberhagen, Quizenberry....Brett chasing .400 and he also hit for power. Great player...
I had a neighbor that moved here from California, he was a child growing up with George Brett and his brother pitched with Yankees i think ken ,they played basketball with the Bretts,,my neighbor 's name was Roger and Randy Brown.
What a great interview. Thank you for all your interviews where you ask questions from the Big Four Social Media. This was a particularly good one. Of course, it's George Brett. LOL But it was really great. George has such a great sense of humor and, of course, is so full of so many great stories. Reminds of Buck O'Neil, who ought to be in the Hall of Fame.
Starts listing Brett’s accolades, Brett takes a drink knowing it’s going to be awhile.

I am surprised that no one asked him about 1980 and when he flirrted with the magical and elusive .400 batting mark that season.
True Class....
