George Brett Hall of Famer … Could listen to him all day long … I live in New Jersey my whole life and I am a big Kansas City Royals fan since 1979 … A big George Brett fan
I mostly talk to God in Jesus in my room so I do talk to Faith but I pray the same pray every night because I don't know how put my payment in words God bless you ❤️
Supprised Dem dan didn't ask George about his great friendship with Rush Limbaugh. Oh, that's right. George would have eaten Dem dan for breakfast verbally.
If you ever wanted to talk about the pine-tar game again with Brett, get Tim McClelland also. He was the plate umpire that day in his rookie season. I would imagine a three-way talking with both of them would be fascinating.
I remember being in Little League and seriously wanting to find a way to get pine tar all over my bat. I never did get access to pine tar, but we all pretty much stuffed all the bubblegum in our cheek we could.
Brett and Kirk Gibson, actually became friends. Why not? Both were cut from the same cloth. Absolute warriors! Both of them! 80s baseball was great

I love listening to George Brett talk baseball ⚾️
Being a Yankees and Nettles fan, I hated Brett with a passion but have grown to appreciate his greatness.
Smart man, waiting until late in your career before jumping the broom. MANY players should take this approach.
Definitely the right move. He had a lot of fun when he was playing I'm sure.
6 straight games with 3 hits. No one else did that. Ever.
His average is higher with The Lady’s? He’s a Royal no doubt

Brett has most hits off of Nolan Ryan than any other player
But wasn't Ryan mainly in NL those years?
@@teller1290 He was with the Angels and Ramgers in early 70's to late 80's
.390, Dan.
only dan would be more concerned about who brett was screwing than the royals.
I liked it. There are 200 other interviews of Brett talking about hitting and playing with the royals.
No batting gloves...

"You just went out there and tried to get enough rest for the next day." Classic haha. basically play and party your ass off. Enjoy life.

I loved me that. #5...oh how I wish he had been a Red Sox...
