Thanks Nolan great vid as always but the default upload doesn’t work when you upload from the mobile app. So is it better to upload from a desktop app 💻 than mobile app.

NOLAN!! Where did your video of "RUclips is a game and here are cheat codes" go??!! I couldnt leave comments at the time so I guess Im leaving it on here. Im a super small channel and lately Im having WAY MORE FUN analyzing other videos than creating! 🤪 And with the explosion of online quizzes, I found a pattern of somewhat ridiculous "cheat codes" that I believe the algorithm isnt picking up on and is pushing out the content anyway! 1. A fine line between creating a thumbnail that sparks curiosity versus pure click bait. Example: Only 1% pass this quiz! Seriously, where's the data to support that? Is that the most genuine, authentic way to create curiosity? If so, give the viewers the data. If not then it's click bait and RUclips, analyze it and stop pushing those non-sense quizzes out! Majority of those quizzes are garbage and are EASILY answered. 2. The beloved comments section. RUclips isnt catching that some of the comments are repeat comments from the same "person". If a quiz has 25 questions, "someone" is leaving 25 comments with the answer to each question. Brilliant cheat code that RUclips isnt catching; that a single video got 25 comments but does not realize its all from the same person leaving "B" or "C" as the sole comment. Anywho....just some of my observations; cheat codes are all over but some are WAY MORE shadier than others. It all depends if the REAL genuine/authentic creators decide to stoop to that level to just to grab views. Not I said the cat! Blessings!! 😊

Borring, I kno, but I fort the new FDA guidelines state you have to see the *disclosure* of affiliate links in the top two sentences (as in, if you have to press more to read that disclosure, then ur not meeting the guidelines) bc it has to be clear, and as in tiktok, if you have to press more, to read on, to see it, then it doesn't meet guidelines..... What do you think? Does anyone know 4 sure?

So you only write one sentence in the video description box? Not a paragraph? Hmm. I was under the impression you have to write an actual description (possibly a paragraph) of what the video is about or what they call expect to see in said video. Gonna have to try to keep it to a sentence.
That method was back when RUclips used your description to know what the video was about. Now it can use your transcript (which is auto-generated) to actually know since so many people were just keyword stuffing and it wasn't accurate.
When I upload long form videos from my phone the stuff I put in the saved description section doesn’t appear in the description. Only when uploaded from a desktop/laptop does it then appear. Is there a way to get it to auto populate when uploading from a phone? Thanks!

There is no description template on the video link provided. Had to subscribe to their external weblink in order to receive but they only sent me an email with different content. Seems to be misleading

Do you recommend uploading from Streamyard or someplace or direct from RUclips?
Streamyard does make livestreams easier - you can put comments on screen and share a screen etc. Very easy to use and plenty on the free version.

I save mine to a Google Keep note so I can just copy and paste over when uploading from mobile.
