Here is why I agree with MrBeast 100%: There is a youtuber called "Internet Historian" he uploaded less than 50 videos and he started 6 years ago. That is nearly 8 videos per year. But his quality, editing, and story telling is top notch, The entire internet waits for his videos and he has 4m subscribers.
@@matthewcaldwell8100 it's the opposite of the advice he gave at the beginning, but then he gave contradictory advice later in the video that supported that example.
I love 3 key points: the importance of a great caption, the first 10 seconds of the video, and assuring people that they are gonna get what we promised in the title. Thanks for creating this.

Video Summary: • Virality doesn't necessarily require money: Some of his most viewed videos were created with minimal spending. The focus should be on creating interesting and unique content. • Focus on quality over quantity: It's better to upload fewer videos but of higher quality that have the potential to attract RUclips's algorithm, than posting lots of average videos that won't stand out. • Be open to critique: No video is perfect, and having a critical eye (from yourself or others) will help improve your content over time. • The experience with your last video matters: If people enjoyed your previous content, they're more likely to watch your next video. • High view counts often come from viewers watching multiple videos, not just one: Strive to create content that keeps viewers hooked and wanting to watch more of your videos. • Drawing inspiration is okay, but copying is not: Instead of copying a successful format or idea, ask yourself how you can make it better, more creative or more unique. • Thumbnails should be simple, yet evoke emotion or curiosity: The thumbnail should make the viewer so curious about the video that they feel they need to click on it to find out more. • Update thumbnails of older videos: Mr. Beast updates the thumbnails of older videos every couple of years, using the knowledge he has gained over time. This often leads to an increase in views. • RUclips's influence is underestimated: He believes that in the future, RUclips's impact on culture will be bigger than television's ever was, offering an unparalleled platform for influence and business opportunities. • Work hard and stay committed: Mr. Beast explains that his success has come from his constant dedication to his work, reinvesting every penny he earns back into his channel, and always striving to entertain his fans in the best way possible. • Find your own unique voice: Don't strive to be the next 'Mr. Beast'. It's important to create your own path, and define your own success. • Patience is key: Success doesn't come overnight, it takes time, learning, failure, experimentation, and constant improvement. • Enjoy the process: You should find joy in the journey, in the growth, and in the process of creating content. The satisfaction comes from the process, not just the end result.

Thank you so much for interviewing Mr. Beast and sharing his valuable insights! What he said about the importance of improvement, understanding the algorithm, and making a strong impression right from the start of the video will serve as a great guide for nearly 3.5 billion active users across more than 100 countries, especially those starting on RUclips since 2005. This is truly a huge motivation for anyone looking to grow their channel!
He's probably the best advice I've watched in one video, he's honnest and goes straight to the point on what works, what matters, what a content creator should focus on. 20 minutes that gonna help you saving a lot of time and effort to become a better youtuber. Thank you MrBeast
To anyone starting a RUclips channel, you got this lad!! Just keep up with the effort and hard work and I promise you, it will all pay off soon! All the best!
The beginning when he said just practice on getting your videos better. Couldn't have felt this more. 7 years when I started RUclips the videos were garbage and even though I'm not big now, I still leveled up my editing skills and now use that as a fulltime job to fund the RUclips!
💯💯🚀Wow, this video is a goldmine of knowledge for anyone aspiring to be a RUclipsr! MrBeast has undoubtedly cracked the code when it comes to creating viral content and building a massive following. His advice about staying persistent, experimenting, and most importantly, doing what you love, really resonated with me. It's incredible to see someone so successful still so down-to-earth and willing to share his insights with the community. Thanks for this, MrBeast! Your wisdom is invaluable for us aspiring creators. 🙌
I love 3 key points: the importance of a great caption, the first 10 seconds of the video, and assuring people that they are gonna get what we promised in the title. Thanks for creating this.
RUclips is so much more complicated then I realized, but it actually makes me want to create a great channel because the satisfaction in getting there will be so much better than to just get a job. As a creative free spirited person I always struggle in any situation where I am an employee. I quit trying and just gave up on that idea. I’m totally 💯 dedicated to make the best channel ever with original content. This video is so interesting, thank you for the knowledge. Now I know I just have to get started instead of planning the first video to the limit in hopes of creating a viral video.
I love that he cuts the bullshit. You still have to work hard and put in the time. He's the first person I've ever seen giving advice that points out the human experience. "Audience not algorithm" is such a good way of driving that point home. He's the only RUclipsr that's not trying to sell you a marketing package at the end of giving advice too!
Thank you so Think Media, I have started my new channel(also mentioned you one of my favourite resource in my video) to help me learn different parts of RUclips. Currently I’m using a Iphone 13, a boya mic, tripod and few lights.
I've probably watched every single one of the interviews these clips come from but seeing this fires me up every time! I'm fascinated and inspired by Jimmy's passion, commitment and drive. Before ever watching him in an interview, I scoffed at his content because of the spectacle of it all. But now, there are videos on his main channel and also his philanthropy channel that I really enjoy. But if nothing else, you gotta respect his work ethic. But watching videos like this makes me believe that I can be great too. The thing he talked about in this video of people disagreeing that he could help somebody get to 20 million subs in 6 months is definitely controversial. But hasn't he proved himself enough? I don't doubt him. But now it's time for us. This is for us. And by us, I mean people who think about RUclips when you wake up in the morning. I think about my content strategy when I'm going to bed. I think about it at work. It's possible to have the success we want. But we gotta do the work and here's the good part. If you really love it, that work is fun and doesn't even feel like work.
Watching his videos, I understand that it's not possible to succeed without crazy money he invests in his videos, and without his team who create everything from script to the equipment.
Wow it took you 7 years to save for a camera. That's actually really inspiring that you worked so hard to get where you are now from basically nothing. I use my cell phone currently and keep wanting a fancy camera as well. I'll keep going and see where I'm at on my 100th video :)
I love how there’s no gate keeping and everyone wants to see everyone thrive. There’s more than enough success for everyone and if we can do it together and empower each other. Man, there’s so much potential. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻🔥
@@MomKyroNo there isn't. You aren't owed a result and just like in any work you have to focus on your inputs and being better at serving the viewers. If you think "I want" or "I deserve", you're already way off the mark.
That’s exactly how I am building my RUclips channel. All the advice is taken and being implemented in my channel. My channel is a hindi informational video and with every video I try to better the quality and the results are mind blowing. Totally agreed 👍. 100% true 🙌🙌
Good for you man!! Same for me and my channel here. It's not always easy coming up with new idea's, new improvements to make, but in the end it's worth the effort. I wish you the best with your channel
The things he said are the drive that keeps me going, I saved this video when I started my channel. I know my videos suck, but I keep trying and trying little by little. I’m super grateful for this advice and beyond grateful for the few who have believed in me so far.
Being a RUclipsr is pretty much like the best job ever. It's like running business, and you just need to offer your viewers what they need or want. Starting channel can be tough, but there are tools like Famester which could massively help to kick start your channel and pretty much you don't need to worry about algorithms ever again.
@Ime_Prezime youtube is not a job. A job pays taxes directly and it pays 2 times a month. RUclips pays 1 time a month and it's a lump sum. So no it's not a job. You don't work for them. Your not an employee
In my opinion the best advice is that you need to give your subscribers what they want. It's like business, and people will pay you for things they want to see or things they can't live without. For me the toughest part is starting and growing your channel, but the good part is that there are now lots of online service that could make it a lot easier (I am using a little bit of famester every now and then, and I don't regret it. Really makes everything more fun and engaging. I also feel like I am ahead of algorithm always).
I think what he is missing here is that most youtubers dont make content just to get views. Many people are passionate about a certain style of content like gaming, vlogging, fitness, tutorials, etc. and they dont want to change the pacing and personality of their videos, because it wouldnt be enjoyable for them. Of course there are still things you can improve, but just because someone doesnt adhere to Mr Beasts advice and gets less views, doesnt mean their videos are bad. Its more about making the type of content you personally enjoy and building a smaller community around it.
💯 I looked at my first video (~4yrs) and looked at my recent, and I've been following this advice and improving. A hobby to get me out of the house and enhance my life through creativity (I don't have it) and has grown into a passion. I never thought I'd create, but showing my family and friends what I'm doing and where I'm living has brought us all closer. We are really spread out and although I'm retired my family is not. It's a great way to stay connected to my family community. It's a great way to enhance your own life as well. Thanks to all! I'm not in it for the views either, but somehow it's become a goal. If I improve my content creation through improving my skills at capturing proper audio and video, then editing it into a interesting story, and that increases views and audience. To me, that means I'm getting better at all of these skills required. It's like being a one-man band. 🤣 Subscribed, The sailor on the dock was funny. Did you make that? It's amazing!
Yea, I get what youre saying and its pretty awesome how you've found content creation to be a fun hobby that you can enjoy. Also, thank you very much, I did make the sailor animation :)

Your dedication and success are an inspiration to aspiring creators like myself. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for being a positive force in the RUclips community!
When I watch these videos, I feel unstoppable and so creative. Then I find myself sitting at home back in the real world and and doubt starts creeping back in, making me feel like I'm just another grain of sand on the beach. 😢 I need guidance, please.
Wow, this video really opened my eyes! I never realized how important the first 5 seconds are in keeping people watching. If you don’t hook them right away, they just click away. Also, I love how Mister Beast talks about really focusing on making each video better instead of just pushing out a bunch of average ones. It totally makes sense that spending more time on fewer videos can really pay off. And the bit about how your title and thumbnail should be super interesting was so helpful! It’s like they have to scream, “Click me!” I can’t wait to start applying these tips to my own videos. Thanks for sharing such awesome advice!
I listened and watch this video all the way through. While doing so I took some notes and I plan to implement them. Thank you Mr Beast. & thank you Think media. Road to 1k subscribers! Good luck to everyone. I know we can do it!
keep going! i just checked your channel youre almost at 1k, my feedback, you can work more on your thumbnails, theyre ok and dont inspire clicks, people would easily skip them on the homepage. you want to give people the impression theyre paying extremely little for extremely more! and why they should click otherwise theyre missing a huge deal.
My wife and I enjoyed this video. There were so much takeaways from this video! Learned a lot and we’ve watch this many times over and over just to make sure we didn’t miss anything lol. Thank y’all for this! 👌🏾
Although I agree with everything he is saying I would say his channel is much different than most of all the channels on RUclips. He did extreme challenges that no one else’s even thought of, and now he does the most insane stuff that I’ve ever seen. But yeah his video went viral because he did something unusual that no one else has done. It was original. I think original content is also a big big factor of what makes someone big on RUclips. That’s what helps you stand out. His thumbnails are also hard not to click on even if you try to resist your like dammit let me check this out for a minute lol 😂
I haven’t watched this whole video, but this is me paraphrasing my favorite advice of his. “If you make sketch comedy you can be the best at sketch comedy on RUclips, but you can’t be the #1 channel. And that’s okay if that’s not what you want. If you want to be #1, you can’t make a video and try to make people want to watch it. You have to make a video that people want to watch.”
"I just reached 227 subscribers! I started uploading videos just 30 days ago, and though it’s been tough, I’m determined to succeed. To all the small RUclipsrs out there, keep pushing - we’re all rooting for you! Let's rise together!"
3 major key takeaways: [1] Make 100 videos, but focus on quality over quantity [2] Improve one thing every time you make a new video (e.g. better script, inflection in your voice, etc.) [3] The only question you should ask yourself over and over again: how do you make better videos? Did I forget anything? Also loved: replace the word 'algorithm' with 'audience'!

Been so focused on numbers recently, good to hear a completely different perspective about it. Time to refocus.
I've been doing RUclips for 10 year now and have gained 105 subscribers, may not sound like a lot but I'm proud of my small progress.
Boring vids ngl
you dont even upload consistently brother
I started in 2020 and I found hashtags to help and making a catchy thumbnail helped alot and being consistent with uploading 6k subs later and over 5 million views hope someone reads this little info and help there progress good luck to everyone out there trying keep going and also one more thing type in what video your uploading and see on the search bar if comes up when typing and seeing what's trending helps to

@@williammears6627 sorry for making you down
Finally up to 2300 subs. Been trying out shorts and having success
I was ready to call it quits, but your video gave me the push I needed. You've earned my gratitude for reigniting my determination
Giving up is not an option
My son is my inspiration, he was born with some health conditions and I want to do RUclips full time so I can be with him all the time 😊
May it become a reality for you soon !!!
All the best!
thx i started one a while ago except i make music vids from peoples favourite movie / series / game and song and i do it for free
Cheers, brother!
Oh your promise on your grave huh ? work hard ? What a nonsense
I just hit 10 subscribers🎉🎉🎉
Keep going!
I haven’t even hit that yet 😂
Keep going! I just hit 15 subscribers today! I’m going to keep this for when we all blow up and are successful content creators.
@ appreciate it brotha! Much love for you I’ll sub!
Cool bro kee up
The beginning when he said just practice on getting your videos better. Couldn't have felt this more. 7 years when I started RUclips the videos were garbage and even though I'm not big now, I still leveled up my editing skills and now use that as a fulltime job to fund the RUclips!
Good channel. Ya'll funny AF! cuts are great!
To the inspiring content creators out there . Don’t Give up ! You got this ❤️
🫣🥹 ty and same to you
I appreciate you
🙏🏼
👊🎼
Oh ho...useless quote "don't give up"
I love that he cuts the bullshit.
@InterestingCoolUseful Yep, exactly
NO i will succses without spending amount of money. U will see that i will be famous more than him

The fact that he took the time to do this. good man😊
He might not show it.. but Beast actually knows the details about algorithms and marketing when it comes to videos or views on one

It really amounts down to if they like you or not, your looks, voice, your personality, the way you act, filming and acting go and in hand.
Pretty privilege
Then may be go faceless
Wow it took you 7 years to save for a camera. That's actually really inspiring that you worked so hard to get where you are now from basically nothing. I use my cell phone currently and keep wanting a fancy camera as well. I'll keep going and see where I'm at on my 100th video :)
Thank you I needed this motivation and knowledge❤
this video is gem
No replies? Lemme fix that
We need to roll it back!
I love how there’s no gate keeping and everyone wants to see everyone thrive. There’s more than enough success for everyone and if we can do it together and empower each other. Man, there’s so much potential. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻🔥
There is gate keeping especially to us who are starting out. If you all supported us as you support the big youtubers, we would all grow
If your content was as high-effort and consistent as a big youtuber, you would have that support@@MomKyro
@@MomKyroNo there isn't. You aren't owed a result and just like in any work you have to focus on your inputs and being better at serving the viewers. If you think "I want" or "I deserve", you're already way off the mark.
Very motivational video. Knowing your first video suck helped me know i have no idea what im doing lol.
Stay positive everyone.👍

17:20 he*s so true,
many don't see how important RUclips is
For us who are still growing,we will reach there, let's keep on
That’s exactly how I am building my RUclips channel.
I am new to this world. This video gives me goosebumps. Highly appreciated.
The things he said are the drive that keeps me going, I saved this video when I started my channel. I know my videos suck, but I keep trying and trying little by little. I’m super grateful for this advice and beyond grateful for the few who have believed in me so far.
well , the best thing and the most important is been charismatic , find a good story and do stuff that nobody do
Being a RUclipsr is pretty much like the best job ever. It's like running business, and you just need to offer your viewers what they need or want. Starting channel can be tough, but there are tools like Famester which could massively help to kick start your channel and pretty much you don't need to worry about algorithms ever again.
Thank you, you are the real MVP
Same for me, it doesnt feel like a job right now and hopefully never does because I've found a passion for film making and giving value.
It's not a job. You just have a crap load of work to do, lol.
@@mylifejourney74Isn't "doing work" the definition of a job? 😂
@Ime_Prezime youtube is not a job. A job pays taxes directly and it pays 2 times a month. RUclips pays 1 time a month and it's a lump sum. So no it's not a job. You don't work for them. Your not an employee
I love that everyone has an opportunity to do something on RUclips. It's awesome.
I agree with everything you said.
Whoever reads this I hope you will be successful in life claim it 🙏
@Gold_Z4 claim it
@Gold_Z4😂bruh
@Gold_Z4you wrong for this.💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣
I think what he is missing here is that most youtubers dont make content just to get views.
Subscribed, The sailor on the dock was funny. Did you make that? It's amazing!
Yea, I get what youre saying and its pretty awesome how you've found content creation to be a fun hobby that you can enjoy. Also, thank you very much, I did make the sailor animation :)
💯💯
I feel like he is really humble!
This video is great, thank you so much.

Awesome Think Media!!! Mr Beast, thank you for not only entertaining us with your incredible videos, but also for shedding light on how RUclips works behind the scenes. Your transparency and willingness to share your knowledge is truly commendable. It's fascinating to learn about the intricacies of the platform and the hard work that goes into creating and promoting content.
My fingers are crossed for you 🥰🤞🏼
@@MillenialMellow thank you 😊
keep going! i just checked your channel youre almost at 1k, my feedback, you can work more on your thumbnails, theyre ok and dont inspire clicks, people would easily skip them on the homepage. you want to give people the impression theyre paying extremely little for extremely more! and why they should click otherwise theyre missing a huge deal.
@@truthseeker6804 thank you for this feed back! I will implement that
he is being honest that maintaining consistency will make you achieve anything .

Summary of this video:
MAKE A QUALITY VIDEO THAT PEOPLE CAN WATCH! AND BE PATIENT!
got it mr beast. Love you.And thank you for making this video sir.
I use to think reality shows were real at one point, I still think Jerry Springer is real.
He found his Niche. 😁😁. I feel like I just attended a course on RUclips. Look at us analyzing everything he said, like we are preparing for an exam😄.
You have to make a video that people want to watch.”
great@@Shakooba
"I just reached 227 subscribers! I started uploading videos just 30 days ago, and though it’s been tough, I’m determined to succeed. To all the small RUclipsrs out there, keep pushing - we’re all rooting for you! Let's rise together!"
Good luck
3 major key takeaways: [1] Make 100 videos, but focus on quality over quantity [2] Improve one thing every time you make a new video (e.g. better script, inflection in your voice, etc.) [3] The only question you should ask yourself over and over again: how do you make better videos? Did I forget anything? Also loved: replace the word 'algorithm' with 'audience'!
thanks
#2 and #3 conflict with #1 by definition.
My team and I have started our channel less than a month ago, and I feel it’s growing well.
Id love to just sit down and talk with Mr Beast. He has the best mindset
