he wasn't CEO, he was Eisner's right hand guy, head of animation, and he used Disney money to start it after winning a huge lawsuit too. If I acted like he does I'd get sent to counseling after such a bad breakup. Which he might need, but like it's entertaining.
Rapunzel was one of the bad guys in Shrek the Third voiced by Maya Rudolph before Dan Fogelman, Nathan Greno, Bryon Howard, Glen Keane and Disney created the good main protagonist of Rapunzel voiced by Mandy Moore in Tangled 3 years later.

If there's one thing that I enjoyed from Disney, It has always been Aladdin, Tarzan, Mulan, Atlantis:The Lost Empire, Treasure Island, Tron:The Motion Picture, Tron:Legacy, The Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, Wheck It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Planes, Planes:Fire & Rescue, Zootopia and Kingdom Hearts.
Technically in the bad guys books there were actually a lot of animals and Tiffany fluffet is a cat and Also professor marmalade was disguised as a mermaid
Big jack horner is basically a pure roast to most of villains we got in modern disney. All the Disney Villain today are all twist villains or played Sympathetic(both can work if done right, sadly most of them don't) and then there's Big jack horner who is a self aware, obviously, unapologetically, pure evil villain and he owns it.
Being a twist or sympathetic villain isn't necessarily a bad thing. Heck, it worked great for Toy Story 3, but when ALL of Disney's animated films since then use this cliche, it gets old.
If you ask me, I think Shrek and Ruby, teenage Kraken are the best teamwork films ever showcasing how most of the bad creatures aren’t really as evil as the mythology said it was, and there is a new evil perspective of the good creatures
I have to agree. What I dont understand is why is everyone so passed at this movie. Dreamworks has been doing this for years and I like the idea of a mermaid being the villain for a change. If dragons can be the good guys, why can't krakens?

DreamWorks then dared Disney to come out with something similar to their unnamed project, and 4 years later, "A Bug's Life" was released, followed by "Antz" a mere 2 weeks later
I mean, Mermaids are basicly sirens so there's that meaning they are good at manipulating people, thanks Ruby Gilmore and secondly, Shrek being in a world full of fairytailes, it wouldn't be without disney characters. Once Upon of Time also did this...I like to see this one day

Fun fact it was changed to 46 million something for almost four months I checked on the multiverse saga and it still rises up once in a week I mean sure it’s still a flop because of the whole spoiler and the making fun of the little mermaid thing but it’s still raising up also I think the movie is really good

I noticed the Prince of Egypt has similarities 2 The Lion King they're both composed by Hans Zimmer and the main character (Simba and Moses) both live in exile only 2 return years later 2 confront an evil ruler.
The whole criticism of Disney lately is based on one thing only. Tall Poppie Syndrome. People always like to knock the best, the brightest, the yardstick. In fact, if you are getting criticised, you are doing it right, not wrong, because people are just jealous of your success and want to see lesser companies be successful (until they are, then they get the criticism too). Losers hate to see a winner.
