Yeah, the second one isn’t as good, but I still loved it! I just feel that Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland films don’t get enough love 😔
I haven't really seen too much of the "That Darn Cat" and "The Shaggy Dog" remakes, but I can agree that their original versions, which I HAVE watched quite a lot lately are much better.
Though Prince of Persian is not the greatest of movie/adaptation, I have to admit it is one of my guilty pleasures. DAMN YOUR CHARMING PERSONALITY JAKE GYLLENHAAL!!! *Shaking his fists furiously into the sky*
I remember watching Inspector Gadget as a kid and I thought it was fun and great, mainly because it had Matthew Broadrick from Godzilla 98. We had it on VHS but then we lost it and I was so sad that my family and I spent a weekend trying to find it and had no luck and I was even sadder when we couldn't find and I cried. Eventually my oldest brother got it on DVD and I was happy to see it again. That's one childhood memory that I'll never forget.
But Kang , High Evolutionary , Jimmy Olsen , Perry White , Johnny Storm , Kingpin , Ben Urich and a host of others can be cast as black? I had no problem with that part of Prince of Persia
I can't believe you put Prince of Persia :The sands of time on that list! It wasn't that bad , it had great action sequences and Ben Kingsley played a good villain as usual!
They're probably mad because someone like Jake Gyllenhaal played the Prince. I bet they'd be made because Yuri Lowenthal voiced him too just because he's not the right ethnicity. People these days.
The only one of these I loved was G-Force. Back than, I watched it several dozen times to try and get every detail I could. It's a shame what Disney's become.
I honestly enjoyed Lone Ranger, Planes, and Chicken Little. Chicken Little is probably because I was nostalgic for it. I liked the opening with "One Little Slip". And while I can understand and see the flaws it has, especially with Buck, I thought the movie was fairly good. I'm glad the father and son made up in the end, though. 7/10 Planes is something that I also quite enjoyed. I didn't see it in theaters, but I watched it at home on the television and I thought it was rather good, despite the flaws that it has. It may be what some call a recycled version of Cars with the minor changes here and there, I thought it was alright. 7/10 Now for Lone Ranger. I thought it was amazing. The score, the actions, the characters, the humor, etc. What I don't understand is how some didn't like it because it showed death. They do know that Disney had produced many films in the past where it showed or implied death before, right? I thought the whole film was well done. Especially the train scene towards the end. 8.5/10
I disagree with some of these, especially the one in the thumbnail. Inspector Gadget I really like! Along with its sequel. I also enjoy "Doug's First Movie" and "Chicken Little".
What about the 2004s "Around the World in 80 Days"? It was the prime example of a movie that underestimates people's intelligence with a mean-spirited story caused by lazy writing
@@Franandlar the action was cartoonish, the cameos were gratuitous, and the comedy gave me a stroke I bet even Disney knows how bad the movie is, so much that they don't even bother to take down the movie from RUclips
Alice through the looking glass was my favorite! It portrayed the concept of letting go perfectly. I guess it’s definitely a personal feeling though lol
Matthew Broderick was quite good as inspector gadget. But I heard before he was cast. Apparently Jim Carrey and Robin Williams were close to play the character. Do you think one of them could save the film making big hitif they played it and they both can do physical comedy easily.
If you watch the inspector gadget cartoon intro. You will see that inspector gadget is using his middle finger for his flash light. Changed my childhood forever. Inspector gadget giving me the finger.
That wasn’t that bad besides if they included that they’d have to include the TMNT movies from the 1990’s to bad lists just because it’s people in suits.
I saw G-Force in theaters...my friends and I went to see a different movie, but one friend forgot her ID so she couldn't prove she was old enough to see the movie we were going to see. So we saw G-Force instead. It...was not a memorable film.
I think the very worst thing about the Artemis Fowl film was the retconning of Commander Root as a female LEP member - which completely destroys the entire point of the character, not to mention also destroying Holly Short's character and the bond the two grew to share in the books. Even turning Artemis into an extreme sports lover wasn't quite as dumb as that.
Hey, here’s a good idea for Disney, RE-RELEASE BACK THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS. It’s so hard to scare a kid these days (ahem, stranger things) that when Disney made its first movie to earn a PG rating, they pulled it from theaters and to this day refuse to acknowledge that it exists. It can now only be viewed either, illegally or if you somehow had a VHS tape of it. The first ending was so scary they re-shot it. And when talking about the movie producer Tom Leetch said “This could be our Exorcist.” Bring it back!
The rest of the movies I disagree to be on this list like The Shaggy Dog Love you Tim Allen🤣 The Pacifier The Wild That Darn Cat Remake eh Prince of Persia Inspector Gadget Old Dogs Robin Williams so Funny🤣 Mr. Magoo And Chicken Little🤣 The rest of them I 💯 percent agree with everything else on this list and Zootopia EWE!🤢should be on the Top 20 WORST Disney Movies.
replace Inspector Gadget & Chicken Little with Song of the South or Planes Fire & Rescue, Frozen Fever or Frozen II or any of the straight to home release sequels minus Simba’s Pride & this would be a mostly accurate list
#s14, 13, 11, 8, 6 and 2 are not the worst. That belongs to Mulan (2020), Lion King (2019), Peter Pan And Wendy (2023), Aladdin (2019), Million Dollar Duck (1971) and Dumbo (2019) with a dishonorable mention to Cruella (2021).
The Shaggy Dog was funny and good G Force was 50/50 for me Santa Clause 3 was good Alice Through the Looking Glass was perfect and not trash. The trash for me was the original 1951, It was boring Prince Of Persia was amazing Mars Needs Moms was good and epic Chicken Little was Truly nostalgic amazing film. idk why people are hating it. My people in México we called Ricardo Anaya as The Chicken Little LOL And Planes was good. not trash The Pacifier, Underdog and The Wild was not good. I Knew that Pinocchio 2022 Remake would fail :) Man I need to watch The Lone Ranger, it's not bad but I'm sure it's gonna be good same as Planes 2
The films from the list that I personally like are Santa Clause 3, Inspector Gadget, The Lone Ranger, and Chicken Little. Santa Clause 3 is my favorite of the trilogy with Martin Short doing a great job as Jack Frost and it was cool how it tied all the films together. While Inspector Gadget may not work as an adaptation of the show, it is cool how it presents the orgin story for both the title character and Dr. Claw. The Lone Ranger showed that Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp know how to make great PG-13 action-adventures, and Hans Zimmer's version of the Lone Ranger theme is simply amazing. Last but not least, Chicken Little is a childhood favorite of mine due to the fact that I watched it a lot growing up. It may not be perfect, but it's still a fun movie overall.
16:55 Was okay with this list until you mentioned this. DISLIKE FOR YOU. PINOCCHIO 2022 WAS AN AMAZING DISNEY FILM. The Johnny Depp slander was not cool but this is taking it TOO FAR.
OH HAIILLL NOOOO NOT THE WILD!!! I much rather Watch Madagascar over this abomination of an animated movie. What was Disney thinking about making this!!!! 😫😫
I work with adults with special needs in Florida- where everything’s Disney! As a result they love Disney everything, but they aren’t able to tell the difference between what’s a good Disney show and a bad one!
Live-Action Pinocchio was the most wooden Disney film ever made, and you spit on PLANES!? Are you out of your mind? At least Dusty Crophopper was a likeable protagonist we could root for, NTM it was wonderfully funny. OK, the underdog story has been overdone since Rocky V, but still, Planes at least gave it a little originality, as opposed to most of this list!
Pinocchio is definitely the worst live action remake Disney did. The design of Pleasure Island I would say was the one part that was phenomenal. The ending with Pinocchio singing did still manage to get a tear out of me.
They forgot to include ALL the Woke Culture crap movies Disney have made over the last five years, example Lightyear, The Little Mermaid (live-action remake), Strange World, and many more. And to be fair, many of the movies on this list are actually pretty decent and funny in comparison to the most recent ones. Once again, Watchmojo lies to us.
I think I'd watch #20 over a lot of the modern films disney's been putting out. Feels like after Endgame, they don't know how to put out good movies anymore. Shame, honestly.
Honestly The Wild should swap with Planes because I feel that Wild was such a Madagascar rip-off and it nearly bankrupted Disney in the mid 2000s! Planes had such a low budget, it was meant to be direct to video! Inspector Gadget is terrible, but the premise of turning a slapstick cartoon, just doesn’t work as a live action movie! I feel the Aladdin live action remake is worse than inspector gadget, since it wasn’t even trying to be different from the original!

Instead of live action remaking all the great Disney films, they should live action remake all the underrated Disney films (Treasure Planet, Atlantis, etc.) basically giving them a second chance/more attention
I can totally why the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland films get everyone really divided, but both films have carry a lot of nostalgia for me. The first one is one of my all time favourite films! Yeah, the second one isn’t as good, but I still loved it!
I just feel that Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland films don’t get enough love 😔
Here Here. In fact these, along with Christopher Robin, are the only one of these remakes I have seen.
I feel ya. I'm a 42 year old man and I have a poster of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland on my bedroom wall.
Agree
Oh look, a list consisting some of my favourite childhood movies that I can revisit. 🥳
I had no idea there was a live action Pinocchio with Tom Hanks that came out last year. I completely missed that!
I haven't really seen too much of the "That Darn Cat" and "The Shaggy Dog" remakes, but I can agree that their original versions, which I HAVE watched quite a lot lately are much better.
You forgot Home on the Range
Though Prince of Persian is not the greatest of movie/adaptation, I have to admit it is one of my guilty pleasures. DAMN YOUR CHARMING PERSONALITY JAKE GYLLENHAAL!!! *Shaking his fists furiously into the sky*
I love The Pacifier!
Not to mention the effects by Stan Winston.
@@scottylewis8124 Really? The same guy that did the special effects for the first three Terminator movies did the effects for Inspector Gadget?
But Kang , High Evolutionary , Jimmy Olsen , Perry White , Johnny Storm , Kingpin , Ben Urich and a host of others can be cast as black?
I had no problem with that part of Prince of Persia
Inspector Gadget wasn't that bad. A bit cheesy, but it was honestly one of my favorite movies as a kid. I honestly preferred it over the sequel.
same
That scene of Gadget's head being inserted into his body like the Borg queen from Star Trek First Contact was too disturbing for a children's film
.
The problem with the majority of the live-action reboots is their pretty much a shot for shot of the original, with very little to no big changes.
Discord VS Bill Cipher! The 2010s Best Villain of Chaos!
I hope this list includes all the live remakes Disney made that failed.
*Idc what anyone says, G-force, the Santa clause 3, underdog, and chicken little are good movies. Especially since I grew up watching them.*
I'm with you✊🏾
Hey, Underdog got a killer rap song.
@@Cornhollo26I still prefer the original from the cartoon myself, but that's just me.
If you grew watching Underdog on CN back when they showed old cartoons, you would not like Underdog.
same
I can't believe you put Prince of Persia :The sands of time on that list!
@@JD10503 yep
Agreed. It's a perfectly fine time killer
I honestly enjoy The Wild and G-Force. And ESPECIALLY Underdog!
The only one of these I loved was G-Force. Back than, I watched it several dozen times to try and get every detail I could. It's a shame what Disney's become.
You’re calling Doug’s 1st Movie a bad Disney movie? I don’t think so.
Watchmojos opinion
The 2006 Shaggy dog was a combination of the 1959 film and its sequel the Shaggy D.A
I honestly enjoyed Lone Ranger, Planes, and Chicken Little.
Chicken Little is probably because I was nostalgic for it. I liked the opening with "One Little Slip". And while I can understand and see the flaws it has, especially with Buck, I thought the movie was fairly good. I'm glad the father and son made up in the end, though. 7/10
Planes is something that I also quite enjoyed. I didn't see it in theaters, but I watched it at home on the television and I thought it was rather good, despite the flaws that it has. It may be what some call a recycled version of Cars with the minor changes here and there, I thought it was alright. 7/10
Now for Lone Ranger. I thought it was amazing. The score, the actions, the characters, the humor, etc. What I don't understand is how some didn't like it because it showed death. They do know that Disney had produced many films in the past where it showed or implied death before, right? I thought the whole film was well done. Especially the train scene towards the end. 8.5/10
No. 11 & 12, these films and Inspector Gadget II are exactly why I had to sadly let go of these nostalgic parts of my childhood back in PA before 🐕⚙️
I disagree with some of these, especially the one in the thumbnail.
I Disagree, I Feel The Action, The Frequent Cameos And The Comedy Make That Film A Good Movie
@@Franandlar the action was cartoonish, the cameos were gratuitous, and the comedy gave me a stroke
I bet even Disney knows how bad the movie is, so much that they don't even bother to take down the movie from RUclips
@@LeonardoKlotz People like that movie
Careful, youre starting to sound like Watchmojo
I feel so sorry for Jackie Chan to participate in this HORRIBLE movie.
Alice through the looking glass was my favorite! It portrayed the concept of letting go perfectly. I guess it’s definitely a personal feeling though lol
The fact they didnt put Star Wars Sequels
You think the sequels are worse than The Shaggy Dog?
410: Say. What. You. Want. BUT I love Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and my mom loves John Carter
Matthew Broderick was quite good as inspector gadget. But I heard before he was cast. Apparently Jim Carrey and Robin Williams were close to play the character. Do you think one of them could save the film making big hitif they played it and they both can do physical comedy easily.
Jim Carrey probably would've worked
@@marlonclark-pp9wg Yeah I agree Jim Carrey would have been perfect as the character. He looks a bit like the character.
Since Artemis Fowl was pulled from Disney+, it's absolutely no wonder I haven't heard of it, and maybe that was for the best
If you watch the inspector gadget cartoon intro. You will see that inspector gadget is using his middle finger for his flash light. Changed my childhood forever. Inspector gadget giving me the finger.
Chicken Little and Inspector Gadget were two of my favorite movies as a kid. They’re not perfect, but they’re not the worst Disney movies.
There's far worse films out there, believe me
@@ebaugh7320 oh I know
I’m surprised “The Country Bears” was not on this list.
I guess they can't squeeze in everything.
That wasn’t that bad besides if they included that they’d have to include the TMNT movies from the 1990’s to bad lists just because it’s people in suits.
the Country Bears is a good movie one of my favorites.
I saw G-Force in theaters...my friends and I went to see a different movie, but one friend forgot her ID so she couldn't prove she was old enough to see the movie we were going to see. So we saw G-Force instead.
It...was not a memorable film.
I also so G-force in theaters and I completely forgot about it.
Bad changes, bad quality, it's just a disaster
Hey, here’s a good idea for Disney, RE-RELEASE BACK THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS. It’s so hard to scare a kid these days (ahem, stranger things) that when Disney made its first movie to earn a PG rating, they pulled it from theaters and to this day refuse to acknowledge that it exists. It can now only be viewed either, illegally or if you somehow had a VHS tape of it. The first ending was so scary they re-shot it. And when talking about the movie producer Tom Leetch said “This could be our Exorcist.” Bring it back!
Not every Disney movie is a masterpiece
yep
G-Force was golden
The Pacifier is one of the best Disney movies in existence and nothing can change my mind 😤
same
I like Chicken Little 😅
My worst might be chicken little
I agree!!!!
The rest of the movies I disagree to be on this list like
The Shaggy Dog Love you Tim Allen🤣
The Pacifier
The Wild
That Darn Cat Remake eh
Prince of Persia
Inspector Gadget
Old Dogs Robin Williams so Funny🤣
Mr. Magoo
And Chicken Little🤣
The rest of them I 💯 percent agree with everything else on this list and Zootopia EWE!🤢should be on the Top 20 WORST Disney Movies.
Worst Disney movies:
1# Alice in Wonderland
2# Rescuers
3# Lady Tramp
4# 101 Dalmatians
5# Cinderella
6# Little Mermaid
7# Sleeping Beauty
8# Snow White
9# Emperor's New Groove
10# Enchanted
11# Tangled
12# Zootopia
replace Inspector Gadget & Chicken Little with Song of the South or Planes Fire & Rescue, Frozen Fever or Frozen II or any of the straight to home release sequels minus Simba’s Pride & this would be a mostly accurate list
Lion King One and a Half: Am I’m a joke to you?!
I thought The Little Mermaid II and Cinderella III were pretty decent honestly.
@@jakushkadarkstalker6278 Cinderella 3 was just the kickstarter for those Twisted Tales novels
I love Chicken Little, such a great movie.
The Shaggy Dog was funny and good
G Force was 50/50 for me
Santa Clause 3 was good
Alice Through the Looking Glass was perfect and not trash. The trash for me was the original 1951, It was boring
Prince Of Persia was amazing
Mars Needs Moms was good and epic
Chicken Little was Truly nostalgic amazing film. idk why people are hating it. My people in México we called Ricardo Anaya as The Chicken Little LOL
And Planes was good. not trash
The Pacifier, Underdog and The Wild was not good. I Knew that Pinocchio 2022 Remake would fail :)
Man I need to watch The Lone Ranger, it's not bad but I'm sure it's gonna be good same as Planes 2
Song of the south will always be the worst
Nah, it's zippidy doo dah day good 😂
OH HAIILLL NOOOO NOT THE WILD!!! I much rather Watch Madagascar over this abomination of an animated movie. What was Disney thinking about making this!!!! 😫😫
What a coincidence, I was watching review videos a few minutes ago about Chicken little.
I was ok with this list until number 1. Artemis Fowl is awful, but you have to smoking something to say it’s worse than Kazaam
Soul
Encanto
Avatar 2
GOTG 3.
They don’t suck entirely
Honestly The Wild should swap with Planes because I feel that Wild was such a Madagascar rip-off and it nearly bankrupted Disney in the mid 2000s! Planes had such a low budget, it was meant to be direct to video! Inspector Gadget is terrible, but the premise of turning a slapstick cartoon, just doesn’t work as a live action movie! I feel the Aladdin live action remake is worse than inspector gadget, since it wasn’t even trying to be different from the original!
