I saw a trailer for the Emoji movie with my dad in theaters. It actually lead to something funny. You know that uncomfortable feeling you get after watching a bad trailer with someone? You feel like you need to say something to show you didn't like it. Well when the trailer ended there was a mother with two kids a few rows ahead of us. One of the kids asks if they can see that movie when it comes out. She just says, "No, that looks really stupid." And right then my dad and I burst out laughing.
I think the hate for shark tale comes because of when it was released, it was a year or a few months after finding nemo. I loved shark tale, its basically finding nemo meets the godfather but it's kid friendly, had a great cast as well and good soundtrack (even though it highlights one song)
Mr. Deeds is a 100% load of pure garbage, just like everything else Adam Sandler's ever disgraced movie theaters. The minute that refuse was released Frank Capra, Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur started spinning in their graves and gave yet to stop.

Mine loves me but sometimes even im caught in the crossfire of their disbelief no matter how many times i tell them its true
I agree for the most part, I see a lot of people criticizing the movie for the characters being mean, especially after schafrillas review of it so it feels like they’re just parroting his opinion, but maybe that’s the point? I think an issue a lot of movies have, both animated and otherwise, is that they’re rather unrealistic in their portrayal of people and situations, so you end up with a lot of movies with a moral message that doesn’t apply to reality at all and end up coming across as tone-deaf. Chicken little, however, doesn’t shy away from showing the inherent ugliness of people, and they aren’t even portrayed as villains proper or cartoonishly evil, but rather normal people with a bad side to them, which is more realistic than a lot of movies and therefore more relatable
@@leonardolim8976 Never said neglect was the issue, but you said you related to Chicken Little. That's telling of how your is. I'm pretty sure neglect and abuse are equal in how bad they are, and Buck even would gaslight his son at times. Still, I don't mind shows or episodes when that is done, but the way the Chicken Little word did it felt really off even back when I first saw it as a kid, like "Bendy Did It" levels of off-putting. No one likes an entire plot from a misunderstanding.
@@gsleo2396 No. People disliked that movie long before Schrilladas made that review and it did cost Disney millions at the box office when it came out and this movie came out long before the internet was as relevant and influential as it is now. If you watched Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and remember the episode "Bendy Did It", people had grievances fairly similar. It's not that it's mean-spirited, at least by itself that's wasn't the issue, but that it makes the reasons for bullying the main character too bs worthy and the dad constantly verbally denouncing his own son for clout makes it no different.
I Used to watch shark tale when I was a kid but it's not my Favorite movie I've seen it back when Netflix was free before it was released on Blu-Ray and pay to watch movies on Netflix .
That's wild that they had the idea to put Cher in an animated movie and held on to it for 35 years. Whoever it was had a dream that they would just not let go. Hats off to them for the manifestation of such a random thing.
After watching Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers movie, I could just imagine seeing the characters in these movies desperately trying to gather fans like Dale. In fact, if either a sequel to that movie or another big animated crossover movie like Chip 'n' Dale we’re created, it be interesting to see some of these characters in it, just to make fun of them
Yeah, they literally had the ugly sonic in the new Chip n Dale movie. Though I wonder how much of it was a marketing ploy to gather more traffic for the movie.
I liked Strange Magic myself its underrated in my opinion, I used to watch Chicken Little and Shark Tale all the time as a kid. Food Fight is like a nightmare lol. 😂

Fun Fact about the Bobbleheads Movie: Larry Kasanoff (The guy who made FoodFight) was a producer on the movie as well as for Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Let that sink in
This might be a controversial take, but the Emoji movie wasn't honestly as bad as it seems. Not that I don't agree it's terrible, I completely agree it's a ridiculous concept for a movie, but I honestly feel like they made the most of a terrible idea because it was still enjoyable to at least some degree. All things considered it could have been MUCH worse
I will never forgive what Illumination did to The Addam's Family. They made all of them absolutely god awful looking. There's a fine line between looking looking unique and having your own animation style, but my god is the character design hideous. They turned Wednesday into a Q-TP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
Buck was pretty good in the movie as such, but the animation was so disappointing. Blue Sky's animation was just starting to get really good and even for something like Collision Course, the animation was epic!

Okay y'all got me messed up including Eight Crazy Nights, sure it's not perfect but that movie is very beloved to many people! I still find it hilarious and very heartwarming so I'm pretty surprised y'all would compare it to some of these
In my opinion, Shark Tale and Chicken Little were absolute gems and still are. And another thing, you can't just say something's bad just because of the Rotten Tomatoes score it got. One of my absolute favorite movies, Troop Beverly Hills, got a score of 14% but my Girl Scout troop and I still love it.
The worst movie of 2004 was definitely not Shark Tales, and the worst movie of 2005 was absolutely an extremely weird “birds in war” Disney movie called Valiant.

I don’t recommend going with rotten tomatoes. Since it got 200 employees, the critics were not the audience. They made good things bad about them. They made small things big things. Be your own critic and actually watch the movie, rotten tomatoes critics are misleading. If you can’t watch the movie, follow the audience ratings.
15:56 Did they actually say Strange Magic was Lucasfilms only film they made that wasn't Star Wars? I guess films like the Indiana Jones series, American graffiti and Willow don't exist
I am from the UK and, while I prefer Doogal (or The Magic Roundabout), which was released the year prior, much better in English, I do understand why the American version fell absolutely flat. Also, from the clip of Dylan mentioning about Zeebad, here I've added a comparison to that quote by the two voice actors playing him: Jimmy Fallon's Dylan: This guy... is seriously messing with... the wrong... BUNNY!!! Bill Nighy's Dylan: This guy... is seriously messing... with my... KARMA!!! Got to admit, you might guess who's Dylan did it better.
Shark tale looks awful and has massive tonal issues but films watchable for sure. Chicken Little is just awful, genuinely top 5 worst Disney movie including direct to DVD sequels and World War propaganda

Not all of them were bad. Shark Tale, Hoodwinked, The Magic Roundabout Space Chimps, Hop weren’t bad at all.
The magic roundabout had 2 versions
The uk original version and the American dubbed one which was so much more worse
Shark Tale is one of my favorite animated movies. Also like the animated The Addams Family wasn't bad either. I actually loved it
Glad I'm not alone with The Addams Family opinion.
Honestly, I love shark tale

Some films on this list may be underrated. To some people. (some underrated films not the bad ones.)
Especially, Shark Tales.
To be honest i loved Sherlock Gnomes and i think is an accesible portal to Arthur Conan Doyl's beautiful world of mysteries for children
I have nothing but good memories from Shark Tale and Chicken Little
For me, I would have bad memories.
That's wild that they had the idea to put Cher in an animated movie and held on to it for 35 years. Whoever it was had a dream that they would just not let go. Hats off to them for the manifestation of such a random thing.
Chicken Little brings back so much nostalgia for me that I honestly love it
After watching Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers movie, I could just imagine seeing the characters in these movies desperately trying to gather fans like Dale.
Eight Crazy Nights as 2002?! That’s a technical foul 😂
Love it 🤣🤣
I liked Strange Magic myself its underrated in my opinion, I used to watch Chicken Little and Shark Tale all the time as a kid. Food Fight is like a nightmare lol. 😂
Strange Magic is the worst movie of all time. How?????

Fun Fact about the Bobbleheads Movie: Larry Kasanoff (The guy who made FoodFight) was a producer on the movie as well as for Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Let that sink in
No wonder it's so bad if Food Fights creator was helping with it
Hey! I liked "Shark Tales" and "Chicken Little"! I guess some of the movies on this list are a question of taste.
I liked 8 Crazy nights. Reminds of me the days of Hollywood Video and Blockbuster.
It’s all lies that movie was good. I saw nothing bad about it idk why ppl dislike it
It’s not controversial don’t worry. (Even tho I hated it) everyone’s entitled to their own opinion
I'm happy it was made in 2017 and not today
A cash grab that at least attempted to look good.
Most people hate it. I kinda liked it. It’s a guilty pleasure movie and so funny.
Bro just dissed 70% of my childhood show😄💀
I will never forgive what Illumination did to The Addam's Family. They made all of them absolutely god awful looking. There's a fine line between looking looking unique and having your own animation style, but my god is the character design hideous. They turned Wednesday into a Q-TP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
Illumination did not make that movie, the folks that did Sausage Party did.
@@thunderpantz ah, my bad. regardless, my point still stands
Wednesday NEVER wore white, so I don't know why they dressed her that way. Even Charles Addams always showed her wearing black, like Morticia did.
@@thunderpantz That's another one that should have been on Honorable Mention, imho.
This makes me glad that Netflix adapted this franchise
Eyyyyy, finally some flava at watchmojo. Welcome brother
I love Trumpet and the Swan, Shark Tale, and Hop.
Yeah, I was upset when Scrat wasn’t in The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild and the whole cast got recasted except for Buck.
Buck was pretty good in the movie as such, but the animation was so disappointing. Blue Sky's animation was just starting to get really good and even for something like Collision Course, the animation was epic!
Chicken little was absolutely trash lmao. It was a movie about everyone AND I MEAN EVERYONE HATING 1 character for one mistake. It was so aaaaassss
Yeah. Buck is the worst parent ever made, even worse than Peter Griffin somehow.
One thing I’ve learned is never trust a critic score, just cause someone says it sucks in no way means it is, it is only their opinion.
Exactly. I've seen several movies that were panned by all the critics and enjoyed them all.
Wow.. Shark tale was really funny and entertaining.
A so bad it’s good movie
*"The Emoji Movie" also has a feature that none of the other movies on this list had - a guy openly playing with his....🍆... in a movie theater during a screening. lol*
Taking Scrat away from an Ice Age film is a sin
Strange Magic is pretty much my favourite movie. Chicken Little and Shark Tale are pretty good too.
It's not that I love Shark Tale, but believe it or not, I actually didn't mind it as a kid. But I understand the hatred of this movie.
In regard to the Tom Kenny comment, if you thought that was bad, I should remind y’all that he voiced King Jellybean in Rick and Morty.
Except in that one, Tom does one of his best voice performances of his career, due to how with just a few lines he manages to be incredibly creepy.
The fact that Shark Tale was literally oscar nominated over The Polar Express makes me want to rip my heart out
Yeah I will forever love the polar express
I like the actors and the music in Shark Tales more than the story. Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese in an animated flick. 👍🏾👍🏾
Okay y'all got me messed up including Eight Crazy Nights, sure it's not perfect but that movie is very beloved to many people! I still find it hilarious and very heartwarming so I'm pretty surprised y'all would compare it to some of these
I’m so sick of rotten tomatoes being considered the standard for a movie being to be good or not
I liked Chicken Little. I don’t see why people hated it. I also liked Hop and The Lorax
Space Chimps was my childhood. Space Chimps 2 is like one of those dreams where you know things are not making sense but everything feels normal
I love Trumpet of the Swan (mean young Serena is Lil from rugrats XD) but yeah, it's one of my favorite movies
I don't know why shark tale is worst when to be honest is pretty cool.
(3:54) Why watch Bolívar el héroe when you can watch Dragon Ball Z in Latin Countries.
Shark tale and chicken little were great animated movies in my opinion
As mediocre as Chicken Little is, remember that the movie saved Disney animation at the time!
I didn't even know half of these movies existed.
The worst movie of 2004 was definitely not Shark Tales, and the worst movie of 2005 was absolutely an extremely weird “birds in war” Disney movie called Valiant.
2004 should have been Home on the Range and 2005 should have been either Valiant
The Emoji Movie was awfully bad, Shark Tale was good and The Nut Job was the best
Planes is pretty damn "meh," but there's no way it's worse than Escape from Planet Earth.
Just like others in the comments , Shark Tale is good and funny , enjoyable as well , some of these movies i've never heard or seen , they are pretty awful , Shark Tale is the only good among them
Only thing great about Shark Tale is its voice cast. Where else are you gonna find a movie that stars Will Smith, Jack Black, and Martin Scorsese?
I have to disagree with Shark Tale; that was a totally entertaining movie!
Norm of the North may have been bad, but whoever ran their official Twitter Account was an absolute troll and I love it
Bro I know u didn't put shark tale and chicken little on this list man. I still watch those movies to this day and they still get a laugh out of me
A rapping dog and Yiddish mice aboard the titanic way back in 1912 really? The writers must have been smoking some powerful shit at the time...

Shark Tale is definitely a bad movie that pales in comparison to other animated movies from 2004, but I still love this Disaster of a movie with all my heart.

I am from the UK and, while I prefer Doogal (or The Magic Roundabout), which was released the year prior, much better in English, I do understand why the American version fell absolutely flat. Also, from the clip of Dylan mentioning about Zeebad, here I've added a comparison to that quote by the two voice actors playing him:
Jimmy Fallon's Dylan: This guy... is seriously messing with... the wrong... BUNNY!!!
Bill Nighy's Dylan: This guy... is seriously messing... with my... KARMA!!!
Got to admit, you might guess who's Dylan did it better.
