I have to say, James Mcavoy's performance in Split and Glass was totally overlooked (he had already shown his range in "Filth", he was disturbing and you still wanted him find peace within himself).
I’m sure the reason you didn’t have Frances McDormand as your pic for the best movie performance of 2020 is because you mentioned her at ‘17 with Three Billboards, but I’m gonna take in the fact you made Carey Mulligan your choice here, as well as give Chadwick Boseman an honorable mention. Both should’ve won the acting Oscars that year
2019 was by far the year of the Joker...... no one can match that level of performance.....Joaquin is currently the best Actor working in the industry......all set for Joker 2.....
Oh my God, At the 2023 Oscars, there will be a rivalry between Austin Butler and Brendan Fraser. Bet who wins? Place your bets... Let's bet who will win, I honestly surprised Butler as Elvis, but Fraser returned in an epic way to get an Oscar in The Whale...
@@Denis-89 thank you! Plus the movie will definitely get a lot of nominations including Best Picture, The Whale will probably not get nominated for Best Picture or any major award except maybe Best Supporting Actress

Denzel Washington “Man on Fire” (2004) Martin Freeman “The Hobbit Trilogy” (2012-2014) Alison Lohman “White Oleander” (2002) Ellen Page “My Days of Mercy” (2017) Owen Wilson “The Royal Tenenbaums” (2001) Benedict Cumberbatch “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” (2013) Miranda Otto “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003) Naomi Scott “Aladdin” (2019)
2007 had amazing performances all around and Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh would have been a perfect candidate as well, but Daniel Day-Lewis had to be at the top.
Mahershala Ali was good in “Moonlight” but he definitely wasn’t as good as Denzel Washington and Viola Davis in “Fences” or Casey Affleck in “Manchester by the Sea” and Amy Adams in “Arrival.”
I need to go back and rewatch ever single one of these! Thanks for the memories.... Also the Departed is by far the 🔝. Leo, Jacky boy, Damen, marky mark, and vira, Baldwin, Martin sheen, ray winstone, David O'Hara. Hell the only ones missing are ray liotta and Joe peshi. It's a master piece.

Goated!
Loved Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury! To be honest he nailed that role and I was blown away when I first watched Bohemian Rhapsody. I cannot care less on what the critics had to say about the film I absolutely loved everything about it. You may not have included it in this list I just wanted to bring it up.

Tom Sizemore - Black Hawk Down (2001)
Bruno Ganz - Downfall (2004)
Ewan McGregor - Moulin Rouge! (2001)
Jennifer Jason Leigh - The Hateful Eight (2015)

Carey Mulligan was green in Promo young woman &Heath Ledger was great too
329: I was impressed by Rami Malek as Freddy Mercury, Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Naomi Ackie as Whitney Houston
You should do this list for 1975-1999 😀
There are so many good actors and actresses on this list. I could go on and on about so many of them and their talent
Thank You for the List & Video 😀
I have to say, James Mcavoy's performance in Split and Glass was totally overlooked (he had already shown his range in "Filth", he was disturbing and you still wanted him find peace within himself).
I’m sure the reason you didn’t have Frances McDormand as your pic for the best movie performance of 2020 is because you mentioned her at ‘17 with Three Billboards, but I’m gonna take in the fact you made Carey Mulligan your choice here, as well as give Chadwick Boseman an honorable mention. Both should’ve won the acting Oscars that year
Brendan Fraser is my all time favourite actor and I can’t wait to see what he does in the future with his career
2019 was by far the year of the Joker...... no one can match that level of performance.....Joaquin is currently the best Actor working in the industry......all set for Joker 2.....
Thank God Someone Has Great Taste!!! 🙌
GREAT LIKE ALWAYS .. what u think abauto to realise a top 10 longest standing ovations
And in the end Colin Farrell wins .As he should. He deserves it even more..
@@Denis-89 thank you! Plus the movie will definitely get a lot of nominations including Best Picture, The Whale will probably not get nominated for Best Picture or any major award except maybe Best Supporting Actress
@@106andie i think the Whale might only get Best Makeup nom apart from Actor. I think people simply want Fraser to do well since they are childhood fans but truth is he has an upphill battle to fight. The fact that both Farrell and Butler stars in likely Best Picture contenders puts them ahead
The Whale was awesome!
His standing ovation was well deserved
Since Brendan Fraser won best actor for 2022, his recognition on this video is actually spot on.
Denzel Washington “Man on Fire” (2004)
Martin Freeman “The Hobbit Trilogy” (2012-2014)
Alison Lohman “White Oleander” (2002)
Ellen Page “My Days of Mercy” (2017)
Owen Wilson “The Royal Tenenbaums” (2001)
Benedict Cumberbatch “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” (2013)
Miranda Otto “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003)
Naomi Scott “Aladdin” (2019)
I looove Brandon Frasier and ready to see his Oscar performance, glad to see him and his talent back onscreen!
idk how or when it happened. He was here the "insane beat guy" was here its there in his favourited playlist, hes still there. Anyone understands me?
Or the Performance of Leonardo di Caprio in The Revenant. Explaining a pure surving in 150 Words and Grunts!
2001-Russel Crow-A Beautiful Mind...there is no equal.
great video
Can’t wait to see tv performances of each year next
Michael Shannon in Take Shelter is criminally overlooked everywhere.
2007 had amazing performances all around and Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh would have been a perfect candidate as well, but Daniel Day-Lewis had to be at the top.
325: Another favorite is Drew Barrymore in Ever After A Cinderella Story. Best actress for that role
Top Best Performances of Each Year(2000-22) would be the apt title
