I just ordered a tk72 I’m no mechanic but I do my own services so I like to have some good quality tools. I got the tk72 to use to do the 8mm prop nuts on my fpv drone. Be perfect small size for that and I’ll look like a flash c@&t when I use it :) I may do this 3/8 conversion as all my snap on sockets are 3/8 and as My tools don’t pay the bills I don’t want to by another set of sockets. Great vid very useful.
I did a 3/8 kit in both the straight and flex along with 1 each in 1/4 drive as well. LOVE THEM!! I am an industrial maintenance mechanic and these are great working on machines.
My TKF72 was rough as shit and ended up locking up. Found a gouge with a good sized raised spot inside the head. Snap on rep is getting me a new one, but its still aggravating. Still love the ratchet though!
These conversion kits confuse me. I find i use my 1/4 lot I got a gp 1/4" set that goes to 15mm and 9/16 shallow and deep that I liked so much got blue power kit in chrome. I haven't ran into a situation where I've needed a small ratchet for larger than 15mm or 9/16 they even sell long 1/4" ratchets now. For most part i use mostly 1/4 and 1/2 for sockets an only use 3/8 for bit sockets.
I've always loved their spinners. So dang handy. Great for getting spark plugs started down to the seat.
Cool vid brother
