Just realized the original lineup of 7 has now evolved into 11 !! Great group of guys, and really enjoying themselves, for sure! Just an observation, having a trumpet-playing brother who used to be in a Chicago-inspired band, I can't imagine the physical strength and stamina it takes to get out there and play a brass or woodwind instrument on all those songs, many of them in upper ranges, pretty much continuously throughout the gig-- especially at Lee and Jimmy's ages! Very difficult, but they are so dedicated. I wonder if it has something to do with the realization that, at best, none of us is going to be here forever, so we need to go for it while we still can.
@@keithmccabe4040 We'll never know, but I suspect you'd do what generated the highest revenue. In all these cases people are voting with their dollars and if enough people agree with you, they will stop as you suggest. For now, seems like it's a pretty packed show.
I get ya, Keith, but when you consider that Lamm, Pankow, and Loughnane are still at the nucleus of things, I'm kinda okay with Chicago pressing ahead! They seem to be having more fun right now than in the time frame just before Terry died (1978), where, at least to my eye, they seemed utterly exhausted and just kind of going through the motions.
Keyboards, trumpet, trombone only original ones left but they still have a great catalog to choose from.
agree 100%

I was at this concert! On the floor in the front! Thank you for posting this ❤🎉
No problem.
um-m.. "Leonid & Friends" play Chicago's song much.. MUCH BETTER! They are playing in Illinois on Sep 14, check them out
Thank you. video tip. It's okay to Zoom in for a bit like you did in the guitar solo.
What it used to be..
Great job on both of those songs, but for years no Wah Wah in 25 or 6 to4 solos, that takes away from that song

Give it up... sad to see you trying for what used to be.
Is that what you did?
@thesaneparty4079 I wouldn't pretend I'm in a band that no longer exists, other than on recordings, but I'd keep playing.

@@thesaneparty4079 The value of nostalgia. Isn't it quaint.

That's just your opinion, we don't agree.
