Can't say enough about how extraordinary, exciting, and encouraging this was to watch.

Around the 35-minute mark, Metaxas is surprised that there were Babylonian astrologers anticipating a Jewish Messiah. I wish Nicholls had spoken about Daniel's influence over the wisdom schools of Babylon. Daniel is the usual explanation for that anticipation.

I just started reading The Great Christ Comet BECAUSE I heard Eric Metaxas mention it.

The Astrologers came to a house not a manger.

Interesting, but his interpretation of Revelation 12 is off.

His claim for a comet? idk. If there was a comet it was in conjunction with the other signs mentioned in The Star of Bethlehem documentary? He is claiming the comet lasted a year in the sky? Haleys comet (on a 74 yr cycle?) only lasts a few weeks, so this one must have been pretty slow… I have my doubts. My own thoughts are that maybe a super nova was involved at some point? If that were the case I don’t think there would be any evidence now that we could point to?
