Mr. Medved, my sister and her husband met you several years ago. They are a wonderful Christians and came to one of your talks. They asked you what they can do to help America. You said have more children. Wonderful advice.
I just have to add a small story about Michael Medved. Around 2013, I miraculously found myself hosting a radio show in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I lived for 40 years. Michael also happened also to be the host of his own show, in the same studio room and chair, that I was using. He graciously autographed his latest book for me (10 Big Lies about America), which I still treasure. Anyways, after sitting next to each other in shul that Sabbath, I had my friend give Michael some specially made kosher food, after the service. Well, due to his honoring the religious codes, Michael was unable to accept the food, as it was not permissible to take anything out of the shul during Shabbat. Not to let anything go to waste, my family had the most delicious feast, we ever experienced that night.

20+ Years ago my wife and I were in Seattle having lunch at a little cafe when Michael and his wife walk right by our table. I said there goes Michael Medved and my wife said where? She chased him down and told Michael what a huge fan I was and that we were visiting from Kentucky, would he please say hi to me. Michael graciously waited the time for me to get to him and gave me a very kind reception. Thank you Michael!

I am not an American, I should be jealous of the American people but I am still grateful because God has given me life in Christ
Indeed, through Christ, we shall all be One Kingdom and together with Him in due time. I have to wonder that in this life, that perhaps God allowed the US to become a nation, so that His chosen people of ישראל would have a strong ally when things hit the fan (such as occurred during WW II), and as a means to help the truth of God's plan get back to them. You look at what is going on right now even, or what the future holds, I feel if our nation ever strays from being a nation for ישראל, we could be in trouble.
This, of course, goes with saying that any sins that God's people do come with consequence, such as in times past when they strayed from God and were taken captive by others. What is going on over there right now, IMO is a wake-up call for them to seek the Lord and understand the very salvation completed in their land ~1994 yrs ago give/take. We must pray for the people on both sides of the conflicts going on in the world right now, for everyone is in need of the same things.

buy sean mcdowells' book(s), or Greg Koukl, Lee Strobel, eric hernandez', but maybe
you would prefer frank tureks book(s) or even mike liconah's, or gary habermas', or best
yet buy J.P. Moreland's books, god answered his prayers even if it was for a pool table,
one thing is for sure though, you won't buy a jesus book cos he didn't
have the foresight to write ANYTHING. he employed "ghost" writers.

Truly mindboggling. This should be required reading for every child in school in America.
Michael Medved's discussion of the purpose ascribed to America's existence (12:40) inspired a chill of revelation; it rings so remarkable true over the course of World history. This is particularly true of the Jewish experience everywhere else outside of the United States. Up to the mid twentieth century, America was the promised land for this community and a refuge for everyone else.
Love this interview. I've always loved history. I agree with what Michael said about ignorance of the country's founding. Most don't even know what the 3 branches of government are & they're in college. What are they being taught besides Marxism.

When I came back to God all the Christian books I read, radio shows I listened to and most of the worship music during that time, came from America, even though I was living in Australia. Eric I'm 64 and I haven't read a book in well over 30 years, half my life ago, but I WILL be buying both Michael's and your books, along with everything available and written by Abraham Lincoln - having recently discovered that my Mother's Father, my Grandfather, was born when Abraham Lincoln was POTUS. I'm only one family generation from someone alive during President Lincoln's Presidency, and to use your term, that boggles my mind and helps me at least partly understand why I am a life-long conservative.

Amazing how looking backwards give perspective in seeing Gods plan. It gives comfort in knowing that God is still working out his plan for America.
I am very fortunate as a true Philadelphian to experience real history since the 70s plus being around old historical Philadelphia especially Independence Hall. God does work in mysterious ways because of our former tenants living in our apartments was a descendant of Stow & Pass who had direct ties to the Liberty Bell mentioned by Mr. Medved. I thought it was a lie till he was kind enough to show me real historical facts as well as his service during D-Day in Normandy. Thank you and signed on! God bless you all.

What Eric and Michael won't tell you is that America is a White Christian nation. They promote the falsehood that America is defined by values only. They believe that so-called American values are what unites people which is false. John Jay in 1787 said that what unites Americans is, same ancestors, same religion, same language, similar manners and customs. Michael and Eric promote a false modern interpretation of America which is the liberal ideology since World War Two.

To say to ONLY teach the good things of our history is like saying there are only good things in the Bible. To say one should not teach things that are negative because some people feel bad about them is ridiculous. Faithfulness is not possible without knowing both. This seems obvious to me. I am proud of our country with all of its flaws.

“The Pilgrim Hypothesis” by Tim Ballard is another great book regarding the miracles that paved the way for America to be established.
Last year, my son and I celebrated our birthdays, which are on the same day, exactly 50 years apart (1951&2001), I turned 71 and he turned 21. My wife celebrated her 50th birthday (1973), this year. I left Hawaii after honoring my promise to myself that I would return to my hometown (Cleveland, Ohio) if Cleveland ever win a world championship, after going 53 years without one. I left Cleveland for 40 years, (1976-2016), the same amount of time the Jews spent in the desert, after being thrown out of Egypt, by the Pharaoh. My promise to myself was fulfilled, as LeBron James, made it possible in 2016, as the Cleveland Cavaliers won the world basketball championship bringing Cleveland it’s first championship, since the Cleveland Browns, won Cleveland’s last championship back in 1963.

And speaking of the battle of Midway, one of , if not the major reason the US won that battle was because of the carriers. During the attack on Pearl Harbor, 'coincidentally', all the carrier battle groups were at sea and none were damaged in the attack.
A Prophet in ancient America said the following:
