Okakuito river camp is owned by a family friend of ours and we come about 4x a year! Im literally in my tent at camp 6 while typing this I find it amazing that people are finally giving this one of a kind camp some attention!!
When we visited in August I noticed the amount of trees that have been cut down 😢 twenty years ago you drove just off the road and into the bush, now it is so open. It needs a new plan to start growing again. But it’s lovely there ❤
Okacuito looks amazing, We've been to Rundu but after seeing this, I really want to try out Okacuito now!...that spot on the river looks awesome! Ndurukoro also looks very nice
Awesome if Possible it would be Wonderful. There is quite a Few of us older Veterans who would love to see what it Look like today. Though i doubt if there will be Much left of it. Will understand if it is not possible. 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻 Keep up the Good work
If you can, please do not use the Engen station as you leave Rundu. That is the one on the left at the junction with the main road to Katima. There are a few skelms hanging out there ready to tell you a lot of kak and who would try to rob you. The people working at the service stations all seem to like communicating with you from the left side of your vehicle. Please remember to keep your doors locked and windows closed as they would attempt to open your passenger door without invitation just to ask you how much fuel you need. I always force them to walk around to the right and then very politely tell them what I need. How do I do it? When they start hammering on your passenger window and attempt to open a locked window, you just ignore them and keep yourself busy with 'rearranging' stuff in your vehicle. They will eventually come to the driver's side of the vehicle....
Dude when you do the conversions it seems like everything is more affordable in Namibia. A loaf of bread in canada is like $4 thats like 40 Namibian also everything looks cleaner and the roads look nicer. You can go outside more than 4 months of the year. How do I become African? Sign me up lol

🤣 yes i have some Canadian friends and they find things extremely cheap here...but off course not everythings perfect here. Close, but not perfect
We can camp 365 days. Even if there is rain, it doesn't usually cancel a trip.
This place do monthly deals?
Which one....you can send Leon at Ndurukoro a whatsapp and ask. +26four8112four1zero5one
