Okakuito river camp is owned by a family friend of ours and we come about 4x a year!
Im literally in my tent at camp 6 while typing this
I find it amazing that people are finally giving this one of a kind camp some attention!!
Blue berry production farm at mashare irrigation scheme👌👌
This is amazing
When we visited in August I noticed the amount of trees that have been cut down 😢 twenty years ago you drove just off the road and into the bush, now it is so open. It needs a new plan to start growing again. But it’s lovely there ❤
And on tht 3way left thts were my house is, miss it so much 😢
Rundu is my town and mashare is my village ♥️
I'm gonna be staying @Mahangu Safari Lodge
Enjoy🥳
Fntastic as always! A kindred spirit indeed.
Okacuito looks amazing, We've been to Rundu but after seeing this, I really want to try out Okacuito now!...that spot on the river looks awesome! Ndurukoro also looks very nice
Definitely, I'll probably stop there on my way back again. Decent tiger fishing as well if you are into that
"A packet of teeth"
You're hilarious 😂
😂
Great video, makes me miss Africa alot!
Some excellent places to stay
I want to come along🥺 can I come along to were ever you are going basically. You can keep me in the back with all your stuff 😂😂
😂
The Okacuito lodge/camp looks like a little gem.
It really is. Been back again for a second time.
First comment! What beautiful spots to set up camp. Okacuito probably my favourite out of those three :)
Mine as well🙂
Your second camp I would have stayed a few days there.
Oh yes. I think Ill stop there again on my way back agaon
Beautiful video
thank you👍😁
Hallo there Verry Nice Video's. Please
Can you Maybe Make a Video Showing Buffalo The old 32Bn Army Base??
😊
Ill see if I can get there
Awesome if Possible it would be Wonderful. There is quite a Few of us older Veterans who would love to see what it Look like today. Though i doubt if there will be Much left of it.
Will understand if it is not possible. 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻 Keep up the Good work
If you can, please do not use the Engen station as you leave Rundu. That is the one on the left at the junction with the main road to Katima. There are a few skelms hanging out there ready to tell you a lot of kak and who would try to rob you. The people working at the service stations all seem to like communicating with you from the left side of your vehicle. Please remember to keep your doors locked and windows closed as they would attempt to open your passenger door without invitation just to ask you how much fuel you need. I always force them to walk around to the right and then very politely tell them what I need. How do I do it? When they start hammering on your passenger window and attempt to open a locked window, you just ignore them and keep yourself busy with 'rearranging' stuff in your vehicle. They will eventually come to the driver's side of the vehicle....
noted, I used the one in town
Dude when you do the conversions it seems like everything is more affordable in Namibia.
A loaf of bread in canada is like $4 thats like 40 Namibian also everything looks cleaner and the roads look nicer.
You can go outside more than 4 months of the year. How do I become African? Sign me up lol
🤣 yes i have some Canadian friends and they find things extremely cheap here...but off course not everythings perfect here. Close, but not perfect
What mobile provider is best to use? Do you have airtel in Namibia, as in Zambia where i'm based.
MTC is the main one and best to use
@@NickfrNamibia thank you!
