I have many handguns. Some of them very expensive. I picked up a Victory because the local store had one on display and of course the price was right... about $350usd. I love that relatively inexpensive little gun. It was not functioning properly when purchased so using the S&W website instructions I sent it back to S&W. They reworked some things and sent it back in 8 weeks... very quick considering covid had the whole country shut down then. I am so happy I don't even care it needed a rework. At 75ft I can blast the heck out of an empty catfood can offhand. I won't own a gun that does not hit what I aim at provided I do my part. Totally recommend owning one of these if you like shooting. I mostly shoot standard subsonic velocity which is a fairly quiet round even unsuppressed.

I would love to have an AR pistol in 9mm or .300 AAC, but I'm afraid that the ATF is going to be able to force us to treat them as SBR. Very little on my wish list would require a tax stamp or other permission, but suppressors are on my list. Even for the things that aren't on my wish list, I would like to repeal the laws that are keeping other people from getting the stuff on their wish lists.

Dude, I literally just got home from buying a victory and was looking at barrels and you came out with this thing. Definitely going this route instead of a barrel suppressor combo
@@G0dyo I picked one up and it would jam nearly every shot. Found a video about it being the extractor and ever since I adjusted it hasn’t jammed the last 500 rounds at all. Really a great pistol for the money

Great video! This is bit of tangent, but I would LOVE to see you review one of the old, Belgian-made Browning Challenger. I know you’re a diehard fan of the Colt Woodsman, and the Belgian Challengers are, in my opinion, an improved version of that design. They’re absolutely incredible pistols in every respect; and, if you shop around in Gunbroker, you can still get a mint condition challenger for 500-600!
Imagine how quiet it would be shooting cci quiet ammo. Furthermore I use cci quiet in my 22lr rifle and the sound is about the same as a .177-.22 pellet gun. Additionally I have also used it in my 22lr single action revolver 22 and it is much louder due to the fact that there is a shorter barrel as opposed to a rifle that loses energy as bullet is going out the barrel. So it would interesting to see the level of quietness and velocity and accuracy out of a pistol with suppressor all ready being quiet all in it self. (PERFECT For small game, but ATF and policies now are making it harder and harder to acquire a suppressor without a lot of paperwork and waiting.
The coolest part about that is that you can shoot regular bulk ammo and its still suppressed. Too bad you have to send in a ton of paperwork and stuff and wait god knows how long and hope the atf doenst just decide to deny you for the hell of it to buy one.

I just got my suppressor for my victory and to be honest I’m very disappointed, on top I took 15 months to get the damn stamp, I try all the ammo that you mentioned and is loud ! My Ruger is a lot better with my outback suppressor
The faster rounds , yes you can tell that was a pistol that is going off in the woods I would love to be able to shoot some 22 short sub sonic which is around 500 feet , or some other 22 short that around 700 feet and see how quiet those will be , too bad they don’t make a mag kit that will allow you to shoot the .22 short out of the .22 lr pistol .. of course I wonder if the shorts have enough power to cycle
Seems like something you could easily do instead of fantasizing about. Practically anything that will fire a .22 long rifle will chamber and fire .22 short, long, calibri, CB, BB, and blanks. Try it out. Take the chance. Unless you're worried about the unbridled power of a .22 short subsonic round destroying your firearm...
Depends. Rimfire barrels can be picky. May need different ammo. It makes it slower & that makes it drop much faster. So you’ll have to adjust your sights to compensate.
Everyone lawfully allowed to own a silencer needs to pony up and buy one. At some point the “in common use” standard can be applied to overturn (at least part of) the NFA.

He was telling me $100 a box of 20 for the GOOD STUFF. He said GOOD STUFF is easier to come by, range ammo is hard to find... 22 for $100 Holy crap man
@@9mil1313 good 6.5pmc is like 80 a box right now I think it takes a bit more to make proper 22 with that accuracy because were talking bonded bullets vs cast bullets. And its easier to make a bonded bullet with good tollerances vs a cast lead bullet.
Lapua, Eley, RWS, Wolf, and SK just to name a few. The trick is to find what your particular firearm likes by shooting 5 shot groups on paper and measuring them out.

I've been waiting over a year now for my tax stamp to clear, so I can get my can from Silencer Central. How long will this take? Will I still be alive when this gets to me? I know ATF is the fault.
it's an add on for the S&W victory platform. So you'll have to get a victory, then buy the barrel from gemtec and the tax stamp from big brother and then wait for them to say yes. I think you'd probably spend anywhere from 800-1200 by the time you were done depenmding on the victory you get.

I really like my Smith and Wesson Victory but the extractor is pure junk! I want my gun to stay original and the only problem with that pistol is the extractor doesn’t work very well and jams alot! ✌🏼😎👍🏼
Polish the slot on the barrel that the extractor fits in it has machine marks in it that needs to be removed.I use Flitz metal polish this will solve your problem.
Effective for what? This isn’t a defensive pistol. Plinking in the back yard, teaching the kids the basics, challenging friends with some trick shots and just having a good time without worrying about ear protection, totally effective.

You literally don't have to send in anything. Go to a dealer that has a silencer shop kiosk. It takes 15 minutes and then you wait 90 days.

Yeah, it's still a suppressor, just one that's always attached to the barrel.

Yeah, its like 1 or 2 screws and it comes right off.
I think its 1 on the frame, and then one between the barrel and the receiver block. Super easy.

To my ear, the suppressor was quieter and lower pitched than the new built-in. It would be interesting to see what a decibel meter thinks.
